The place had half a dozen trucks of the same size, all looking very nice and new, and I got one that looked like it was cobbled together from UHaul parts from a landfill. Get rid of that truck and don't give customers your worst vehicle.

Better explain pricing. Our price was calculated and we were given a total online when we reserved it. When we went to pick up the truck, our $80 rental required $200 cash deposit or a $125 card hold. None of that was listed prior.

The location was fine. It's uhaul as a company. They have third party movers on their website but they don't make sure the customers are taken care of. My movers were two hours late and I called 1800-uhaul they don't care about their customers and charged me to extend my time because of the movers. I would go with another company or never book online. Uhaul charged me $80 because I changed my date. I changed the date early enough for it to be reserved again. I usually don't complain but this was a bad move. The moving company owner never answers his phone. A time had been confirmed and that time went by I texted the number that had texted me to see how much longer it would be, no answer. I waited and called again someone answered you could hear people in the background sound like it was a gathering. They hung up and call right back and said their truck was broke down. Owner said they were still stuck in traffic. Book with caution

The issue was not with the Location but with U-Haul itself! I specifically requested a 2-day rental and was told it was only for Friday April 1st 2022. I even said to the UHaul Representative that I needed the truck for 2 days and he confirmed it was for 2 days. I had to do all my moving in a 10ft truck in one day due to UHaul's Screw Up!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION FOR MANY REASONS! THE EQUIPMENT WAS NOT READY AT MY RESERVATION ( CHECK-IN ) TIME. THE OWNER, MR. WALKER REFUSED TO TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY FOR SIMPLE RESPECTFUL QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONDITION OF HIS EQUIPMENT, AND LITERALLY WENT OUT HIS WAY TO BE RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. IT WAS SO UNCALLED FOR. IN FACT, IT WAS SO UNCALLED FOR THAT I THOUGHT I WAS THE ODD ONE AND LOOKED UP GOOGLE REVIEWS AFTER MY UNPLEASANT ENCOUNTER TO SEE THAT SEVERAL OTHERS HAVE HAD VERY SIMILAR EXPERIENCES. I WILL DEFINIELY NOT GIVE BUSINESS TO THAT LOCATION AGAIN. U-HAUL, IF YOU'RE LISTENING, MR. WALKER AT INDIA HOOK RD. GIVES YOU A VERY BAD NAME AND SEVERELY TARNISHES YOUR REPUTATION. I HAVE NEVER SEEN AN OWNER OF ANY BUSINESS SHOW ABSOLUTELY NO ACCOUNTABILITY LIKE HE DID AND BE AS RUDE AS HE WAS TO ME; ESPECIALLY BY MY ASKING SIMPLE RESPECTFUL QUESTIONS.

Problems with U-Haul web site. Took over 1 hour to get rental completed. When I went to have my hook up inspected I waited another 10 minutes but the store was still having difficulties serving customers so I left. Time was eating, I was already one hour behind. Very disappointed.

I brought the truck back at 4 pm on Tuesday, February 22. The office was closed and there were no signs for parking the return truck. The instructions on the drop box showed a website to use to return the truck. I did great until it asked me to take a picture of the odometer and the amount of gas at return. The site would not let me add the picture so I put the key in the drop box and the contract which I showed the gas at return. Why was this office closed at 4 pm? Needs to be opened until at least 5 pm. Give this location to anyone except this person.

The two women working at this location were incredibly rude and packed customer service. I almost left because they were so rude when I first walked in and they chased me down in the parking lot to try to keep my business. If I had any other options I would have gone somewhere else.

My original reservation was for 5x8 trailer at this location. When I arrived there was no 5x8. Only a 6x12 was available so they cancelled my 5x8 and booked the 6x12 reluctantly; too much trailer. I was charged for the 6x12 instead of the 5x8. I thought the 5x8 price was guaranteed if I had to upgrade due to lack of availability.

Truck was extremely dirty and was wrecked. I filled the gas back up to where it was when I picked it up, and was still charged a $15 gas fee because they said it was low. That is the second time this same location has charged me for gas after I filled it up to the same location as when I picked it up.

The online pickup system is terrible. I was never really made aware that was what I signed up for. It took my wife and I almost an hour to get through the online system which dropped us out several times requiring us to start all over again. TERRIBLE!

The elderly lady that works there, has no customer service skills. She acts as though you are bothering her when coming in to rent a Uhaul. This was my second time renting a vehicle from here and definitely the last time. The first time a few years ago it was someone else.

My problem is with the U haul on line process. Couldn't get in to 24-7 pick up. Waited on the phone fir over an hour and no person picked up. The chat associate finally got me on line only to learn that I had no reservation, which I clearly did. Nice lady called two hours later wondering why I missed my pick up. She annotated my record and set me up fir in person pick up the next morning. I wasted four five hours in a tight schedule, had to reschedule my work. I am NIT a happy u haul customer. I may quit being one.

Front desk lady just didn't have great customer service. Didn't greet us (only ones in the store). So much awkward silence even though we greeted her. Didn't even try to help us understand why I had to get on the broken internet on my phone to upload an ID photo when she could just scan it herself. Your website made it seem like the online upload was optional. But it made it very frustrating, and she didn't explain or reassure at all.

This location's customer service was terrible. Before I had even got there to pick up my rental I called in to make sure everything was set. The man involved charge would not let me speak and hung up on me because I was asking questions about my reservation! I got there and had an issue with the quote I was given. He tells me I can call uhaul directly to see what can be done, so when I go to ask for the number he says “you can't look it up”. While I'm on hold during the call, he proceeds to still ask for my card and ID to take payment. Uh hello!! We have a discrepancy here, why are you reaching for my card to take a payment?? This location is terrible!!

(1) faulty wheel strap at the front of the trailer; had to tie my own strap in order for it to work; told the lady at the beginning of the trip and when I returned the trailer; was told that HQ was over those types of repair and they didn't seem to care.

Yard with trucks and trailers organized and good inventory but the inside of the office is old, dark, and dirty. Old lady at the desk did not advise me about the on line return process and only instructed me to drop keys in box on return which created a stressful situation when I got home and read my texts and attempted to return my truck. Thankfully the young man at the call center took care of me and all was well. Loved the ease of using the 10' box van. It's the perfect size.

Customer Service. When I requested help from the older woman sitting at the desk she rolled her eyes and stated “I guess I can help”. It's unfortunate we have people in customer service roles who are annoyed in helping people who need it, especially when I'm giving them my business. I won't be renting from this location again.

Ensure that your system is accurate with what is actually on or in the vehicle. I was told that the truck was on full and that I needed to bring it back on full. The mileage was over already from what it said i was starting out at. So if you go here please CHECK everything and take pictures like i did. So on my return I filled it up just to find out that the truck wasn't on full when i got it. Yes I checked it before taking off, however the gauge could have been broken so i found out that it wasnt after i filled it up, and of course what they tell me? We can't do nothing about getting you your money back for the gas you put in. Ok so I'll call cooperate then.

I have NEVER had someone be so mean to me. The lady in this office was so rude and down right hateful. I would hire a team of Alaskan sled dogs to drag me and my things around before I'd ever step foot in Walkers again! As far as the van goes, whatever they used to clean the windows was like wax. When sun came towards me I had to quickly and safely pull over and wipe the windshield so I could see.
