The truck was very dirty, covered with snow. I just could not read the license. I had to clean it myself. The young man in the office did not come with me to verify the truck. He let me picking it up alone. The inside of the truck was very dirty too. The level of gaz was not full. I gave it back with almost a quarter of gaz more. No reimbursement !!?? It should be full and the client gives it back full. This way we do not loose money. Since it was from one city to an other, it is not possible to fill it just for what we use. And when mentioned to the staff, the answer is not friendly and send us to head office. Very poor client service and it is a way to rob the client. Abuse of power. Very desapointing. And what is the use of this review ??? If nothing is corrected with me after ??

I got stuck in a small amount of snow on a slippery surface while parking. It took me about an hour and much struggle to get out. The tires on the 10' truck are not correct for the winters here. You need studded snow on this type of vehicle.

Returning the van after hours took a long time. The aop was not responding and once we were able ti get in and answee all the questions and submitted all the pictures required we kept getting a message that said to wait. We waited for over 30 minutes and never recieved a message saying the process was finalized or not... the app needs to be fixed pleaseeeee!

The truck I rented did not have winter tires on as required by the law in Quebec. I tried to warn the employees at the rental location and even asked to fill out a dispute file for nothing in the end. I'm scared U-Haul does not care for the safety of its clients.

Insatisfaite!! Très mauvais entretient du stationnement, Cela a pris 45 min pour sortir le camion réservé pris dans la neige!!! J,ai du solliciter l,aide de l'employé qui est aimablement venu m'aider, mais c'est pas sa job et j'ai 7 déménageurs qui m'ont attendu pendant tout ce temps. perte de temps et argent!!! Unsatisfied!! Very poor maintenance of the parking lot, It took 45 minutes to get the reserved truck out of the snow!!! I had to ask for help from the employee who kindly came to help me, but it's not his job and I have 7 movers waiting for me all this time. waste of time and money!!!

Je suis resté pris avec le camion dans la neige dans la cour du U-HAUL pendant de longs moments (le stationnement non déneigé du tout) j'ai dû insister pour qu'on me change de camion après plus de 45 minutes et je n'ai eu aucune compensation plus jamais je ne ferais affaire avec U-HAUL.

I noticed when I first got in the truck that the engine wasn't starting properly. I should have brought this to the attention of one of the staff but after a few key turns it did end up working so I didn't bother. But this caused bigger problems later in the day once the truck was fully loaded and the light to service the battery came on.

Horrible expérience du début à la fin, un cauchemar. Changement de dernière minute de location, de localisation, 8 appels plus tard et des heures perdues, j'ai finalement un camion plus grand ( donc plus d'essence à payer) et quand je le retourne, le point de chute a été dévalisé, les indications de retour sont chaotiques, on me charge 4 $ pour un milles que je n'ai pas fait ( photo à l'appui) c'est l'équipe qui a dû déplacer le véhicule. Dernière fois que je me fais prendre par u haul, pire service à la clientèle

The storage staff is not friendly. Have to wait long times to get things resolved. Secondly some people who take the storage they put big appliances in the corridors and never move them. It become very hard to move your stuff. There was another junkee next to my storage who always blocked my way, and for that reason i had to change my storage to another level. Overall not a good experience.

The guy at the counter should not be eligible to work there. He charged me twice in a day $185 and then $170 when I should have gotten money back. This is after in the morning when I went to get my reserved truck. It was parked behind another one. It took 45 minutes for me to get out of there and it should have taken 5. Cremazie u haul was completely unorganized and now I have up go waste my time and fight to get my money back because your employees are mentally incompetent to handle such an easy job.

It wasn't communicated that two pieces of government photo ID were required to rent a van with an out-of-province driver's license (I had one piece of Gov photo ID and one piece of Gov ID without photo, and two other pieces of ID with photos and two bank cards with my name). So this delayed an already big day. Then the van's battery died on our second stop...the app was glitchy and did not work well and by the time I got an estimate for the 60 MINUTE wait for a boost I had already found a nice person to help out. I had to leave the van running all day in order to make sure the battery didn't die again and spent WAY more money than I had budgeted because I had to drive the van for several extra kilometers to try and charge the battery. Very bad, would not recommend.

I can confidently say UHaul me the worst customer experience of my life. It started with misleading reservation information about the availability of the truck (which I was told by the UHaul agent they knew from the start the truck that I initially reserved won't be available). They jeopardized my entire schedule for move from Montreal to Toronto and caused so much stress. This definitely will be the last time I will ever book with Uhaul and will caution everybody from using this company's services. It's astonishing how this company continues to operate with such a flawed strategy.

J'ai réservé un espace 15 jours à l'avance pour être certain d'avoir celui-ci lors du déménagement, mais celui-ci n'était pas disponible. On m'a proposé un espace similaire, mais plus cher. J'avais pourtant ma facture de la réservation, mais le préposé a refusé d'honorer le prix de l'unité que j'avais réservé. Il s'agit de publicité trompeuse. N'utilisez pas le service de réservation par internet. Assurez-vous de voir le casier avant de le louer, car il font du surbooking, vous vous retrouvez coincé et devez accepter de payer plus cher pour avoir une supposée bonification de l'espace de rangement.

Staff was rude and unhelpful. I asked if I could see the size of the locker before renting it and they refused. Then they wanted to charge me extra and said it’s because their prices changed and then when i showed them the reservation I made online they made me do the process on my phone instead. It was a waste of time. Location is dirty and not well maintained. An outhouse is cleaner than their bathrooms.

My only issue is when I changed credit cards and got a notice by mail. To the best of my knowledge, I didn't get an email to alert me, and I was out of the country at the moment, so that was the onpy way I could be joined. Other than that it was great

For using this storage facility for over 2 years.. the price increase is outrages.. I was forced to take a bigger unit after making a reservation online which has not been respected by the employees and blamed the system when I had my proof. Ended up costing me way more on the long run. I could not change for a smaller unit later because it would be time consuming and i had heavy stuff. At least if there was a price adjustments offered for all those months but no, many increases of course.. if I ever need a storage again I will not go back there nor recommend to anyone.

Overall good experience over the past 7 years. However in the past year there seemed to be strange activities happening in my account. I didn't live in Montréal which made it difficult to resolve as I would call there wasn't English staff available who could fully understand me. Move out was very smooth and it's a great location as it's near a metro station.

The particular rental unit I had has a giant fan / air exchanger type machine blocking the space up above about 6 ft. The wall showed the signs that there was water damage in the past. For me there was no issue but if I wanted to rent longer with more belongings to store, I wouldn't be comfortable with that unit. Otherwise I cannot complain about the employees or services.

L’employé Mamoudou Diallo était plus qu’incompétent. Il nous a fait perdre plus de 45 minutes avec ses bêtises. Il ne savait aucunement ce qu’il faisait. Jamais ne s’est-il même excusé. Sincèrement dans le top 3 de mes pires expériences de service À VIE. Ca me fait tout de même de très bonnes histoires à raconter qui sont maintenant hilarantes ; bien que sur place, c’était loin d’être drôle.

C’est très bien en terme de qualité, mais c’est extrêmement cher pour ce que c’est… c’était rendu à 92$ par mois pour une mini entrepôt de 5x5 pieds.. c’est un peu ridicule et j’ai pas apprécié les hausse annuel aussi grande pour un mini entrepôt et c’est pour ça que j’ai été cherché mes choses. Et aussi j’aurais apprécié me faire rembourser les semaines payés que je n’utiliserai pas. Après autant d’années de loyauté…Merci pour la sécurité et la qualité.

On a réservé un espace de location un mois et demi à l’avance. Lorsqu’on est arrivé, on s’est fait dire qu’il n’y avait aucun espace de cette taille. On a donc du payé plus cher pour un espace plus grand. Votre compagnie est très décevante. Je ne la recommanderais pas à personne. D’ailleurs, on a aussi eu des problèmes pour la location du camion. Sans nous prévenir, ils nous ont changé le lieu où il fallait récupérer le camion et le nouveau était à 1h15 de distance. La compagnie n’a rien fait pour nous dédommager dans les 2 cas. C’était la pire expérience de déménagement.

Quais de chargement pas assez nombreux, surtout pour les voitures. La sortie par rue Jeanne-Mance est plus sécuritaire: il serait agréable que cette ruelle ait toujours au moins une voie pour passer. Le personnel a toujours été courtois et accommodant

This is my second time getting storage in Uhaul. Staff not trained at all. Front desk very non professional. They dont have knowledge about what they are doing. Not friendly and not customer oriented. I expect much better service from a company who is leader in this business. But unfortunately customer service is below standards.

Thé website for online reservations works however is problematic when trying to make a payment or upload ID. When trying to reach the location, i kept getting transferred to the central. The people I spoke to (3 people at 3 different times) could not reach the Cremazie location either. No one at the location was logged onto the chat even though it was during hours of operation. It took me over 2.5 hours of calling and waiting to finally be able to upload my ID which was already on file (the system wouldn’t recognize it) and process payment. I received no help from anyone. Then when I got to the location, a padlock was in the locker I had rented. I had to wait in line in order to get someone to give me access to my new unit. (I was transferring from a large unit to a smaller unit. I’ve been a customer at this location for 13 months.) Not to mention I was provided with the managers email address in order to request help and he never responded to my email. Overall, below average service. It’s disappointing.

I booked a 10' x 10' storage unit in advance. When I came to the facility on the moving day I was told that the unit I booked is not available and I can only get a smaller one (5' x 5 or 5' x 8'). I chose a 5' x 8' one, finalized the deal and went to check the unit to find out that it has a massive concrete pillar right in the centre (it's part of the building that just happened to be inside the unit that I was given). The staff were friendly, helpful and professional, but I would not recommend anyone using U-Haul storage services because of poor reliability. Everything could have been handled in advance by a simple phone call.

Deux fois jai demander avoir accès 24h et les 2 fois ils mont dit que c'était correct et évidement j'ai jamais eu accès 24h. On m'a même donner un mois gratuit la première fois pour l'inconvénient et le mois d'après la même chose. Pas accès 24h. Et le service est tjrs long. Des fils d'attente alors non l'attitude de votre personnel ne me ferai pas recommencer votre entreprise.
