I would just like to say that staff was very informative and professional the truck however after a rain water leaked to the inside storage and saturating the bottom row of boxes destroying very sentimental keepsakes and collectables when notifying staff upon drop-off the reply was " I guess we're gonna start water testing"

JESSICA SThe first truck I received had a hole in the gas tank. I didn't realize until after I filled the tank, which cost $160. I returned it to this location and was given another truck that was in good condition. I was refunded $50. I was told $50 is all that could be refunded unless I submitted a complaint. I emailed service@uhaul.com and didn't receive a response. I'm writing this to hopefully receive the rest of my refund ($100)

GREGORY AThe location was very helpful and accommodating during our pick up process. However, upon inspection prior to leaving for our trip it was discovered that the lug nuts on the car dolly were all loose. Without time to address it with uhaul we tightened them ourselves. We are thankful we caught it, however this could have potentially cause a real issue during our travels.

Linda LI had to drive 1.5 hours to pick up the truck. Two other locations told me that they had a truck for me, but when I went there and waited in line, they told me that they didn't have one. The location where I finally did rent the truck was great, especially the woman who helped me. She could not have been better. I enjoyed talking with her.

russell bMy original drop off location was on vacation without notice essentially abandoning me at the drop off location. There was a little hand written note on the fence stating " Taking a little vacation. Be back in 3 days." Not a pleasant experience after a 12 hour move day. Thank goodness Roseburg Uhaul came through and took care of me. It cost me another 30 miles in driving and an extra 90 minutes though. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SUTHERLIN UHAUL LOCATION. Very flaky and a fail as far as customer service goes. I wish I could just post a little note on my office door and leave for three days. Unfortunately my boss would probably send me down the road if I tried it.

JONATHAN CI was sold a U-Haul lock that didn't fit my U-Haul, then they wouldn't allow me to return it. The vehicle needed an oil change, it was given to me with under 20% oil life left, I was less than halfway to my destination when it reached 0%. Noticing the low oil life, I put in a call to customer service who we were on the phone with for an hour, she said she found a U-Haul approved shop to check and change the oil (if necessary) and when we stopped at this place, they checked it and said we for sure needed the oil change, but that they couldn't do it. We needed to let U-Haul know as soon we returned it in needed to be changed ASAP and it should have been changed before our 2400+ mileage road trip. When I requested a partial refund due to having to go out of my path and take extra time on the trip to handle vehicle maintenance that should have already been done, I was only given a $50 reimbursement. We didn't even get the oil changed.

Richard DIt was nice that I was given a free upgrade to a larger truck which accommodated us well. However they didn't consider our safety well enough as they gave us a car trailer with a bad tire even though I brought it to their attention that it was bald in some areas. We ended up having to call roadside assistance on the side of the freeway once it blew, and it was in an unsafe area. The truck also helped damage some of our belongings because it didn't ride smoothly at all. The truck was also powerless, even though it was new with only a couple thousand miles on it.
DAN WThe truck I rented had a driver's door latch problem, wouldn't close completely, other than that, I think I was upgraded by supposed non-availability issue, $10 more a day, an uneeded larger vehicle, in this case, was harder to park in my situation. I just felt I had no other choice, which was very true. The agent should direct customers to complete the ck out on text message, I didn't know that procedure existed. I was several miles away when I realized what I needed to do.

David MWindshield wiper was falling apart, but unknown to customer until 1000 miles into traveling. I had a tire blow out on a blind corner. When I went to the retrieve the warning triangles from the sealed box behind the passenger seat, I broke the seal and found the box empty. I had no way to warn traffic my vehicle was broke down on the side of the road.

Ricki KUhaul staff who called hy home was mean Rude, shouting and growling and abusive behavior a normal rental of uhaul truck charged to my Chase bank Saffire card which automically covers all rental for half million plus I also purchased additional insurance thru uhaul and rented the uhaul truck for 2 days This uhaul staff called my home next day N shouted at me Where is my uhaul truck !!?? Why you gave not returned the uhaul truck back to the store yet !!?? Blah blah blah She is sick women or she was on drugs !!? Extremely bad and rude abusive behavior I was very disappointed by uhaul staff after renting uhaul trucks for past 35 years Regretfully a rental customer Tan Khan

Michele AI've been through this location before and it's always been pretty slow. I had to wait between 30 and 40 minutes. I reserved the truck and trailer an hour before and showed up 30 minutes late. The truck and trailer weren't at all ready. The trailer receiver that was on the truck was broken so they had to replace it right in front of me which took 15 minutes. This was a frustrating visit. Only good thing I can say from this visit was the politeness of the employees

Also employees are super eager to leave at 7...so i dont dare go into the office after 6:45, bc i will be told whatever sounds good in order for the employees to do as little as possible and with an attitude! An older gentlemen was rude and told me the wrong info on numerous occassions to get out of doing his job!

Just set gates to auto open via pass code entry

Carol V | First ImpressionsThis Umpqua location in ROSEBURG was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. No issues in the year we used it. It is very unfortunate we had to switch storage units from this location.. HOWEVER, we have had to terminate all services, both privately and our companies, with Uhaul, switching our regular truck rentals and storage units to other companies, due to the MEDFORD/Rogue Valley location in Oregon, and its employees. And the lack of response from mangement or corporate regarding that location. One of my employees witnessed employees using drugs while a line up of cars waited to be unhooked. When he brought this to the attention of the employee at the counter inside he was then threatened and verbally attacked by numerous employees. We attempted for several months to get any sort of response or resolution from Uhaul as we had dozens of units across the country and clearing them out is obviously a last resort. As long as the Medford employee who threatened ny guy is still employed by Uhaul then we can no longer do any business with any Uhaul.
