After you send a text to the customer telling the costumer to inspect the equipement-vehicle- before leaving the business, you can allow the costumer a decent amount of time to reply,like maybe 15 minutes. I inspected the vehicle and sent a text in return, and it was rejected because ir was "Too Late." By the way, the vehicle was cleaner when I returned it than when I picked it up!! Thank you. Not related to this specific location, but about the reservation process. I was able to reserve a 10' truck and made plans based on that. Later I got a call from "traffic" stating that a 10 footer was not available and they had a 26' truck, take it or leave it. This added to my expense. I would suggest that before accepting a reservation verify the requested equipment is available.Ronald N.

Please double check the inside of the truck to make sure the dolly and pads are in there! I thought I had added a dolly onto my reservation but at check in she didn't see it on there but assured us there was a dolly and pads in the truck and if we used either then we'd be charged. When we opened the truck there was no dolly, which made it much harder and longer to move! And it would've taken an hour out of our move time to go back to get a dolly.Christine H.

I reserved a larger truck, specifically because I needed a power lift. When I picked up the truck I found out they did not have any trucks with power lifts only with the e-z ramp. I have multiple very heavy, expensive pieces of machinery to move. The employee wanted to give me an appliance dolly to compensate, but this could not compensate for having to push, pull, and manipulate that machinery up a ramp! To top it off, I was not made aware that the store closed at 5 on Sundays, yes I could have checked instead of assuming. What a miserable experience. I am not happy with UHaul at all and will have second thoughts before I rent again, especially online. I will tell people never to trust UHaul online. Also your phone service stinks. When I try to call the local UHaul, I want to speak to the local UHaul, not someone in Texas, nor do I appreciate having to hold for 20 minutes to speak to a person. In short your customer service on the national level is poor, 1 star.Michael S.
Your system of taking reservations for rentals being contingent on someone returning equipment is absolutely Ludacris. People scheduling around rentals to move equipment is logistically impossible if you are just going to change pickup points with little to no notice, while I guess it could have been worse, as I was told I was lucky anything was made available to me....I didn't feel lucky having to add 2 hours to a 44+ hour road trip. Seems to me that if I'm paying you for a service, it shouldn't depend on a 3rd party to return a trailer.if you can't commit to that, then perhaps don't take reservations for one way rentals.Paul D.

Ordered a 5 x 8 enclosed trailer weeks ago to be picked up 8/9 at 8:30. Got a call two days before that the trailer wouldn't be ready until 1:30p.m. which was not sufficient for when we needed. Upon arrival the 5 x 8 was not available and we had to use a 6 x 12 which was too large for where we needed to place it for a week at our fair. Very disappointed as the same happened to me in 2019 for the same event. Not reliable.Matthew H.

Make is clear when you say "How far are you going? OK I think 60 miles should be enough" and you may want to add that is included in the deposit and you will be charged accordingly when you return. And not make a customer think they got 60 miles and them you get charged the 1.39. Super confusing. And the dolly smelled like the up. We bought another one. People working are extremely helpful!! There was an issue with the time return. I asked for 7 pm the 24th. For some reason it picked 11 pm on the 23rd. I went back in told the guy I need it for 24 hours at 7 pm on the 24th. He said he changed it. We brought it in around 6:40 and the rep said he could charge us for being hours late and said we used 52 miles. He was very rude. Came back out changed the miles to 24 and we left.Michele C.

I rented a storage unit and because I hadn't moved anything in yet and placed a lock on the door. They re-rented my unit. I found out when I went to show up with my stuff and somebody else was moving into my unit. Even though I had paid up till the end of the month and was no we're near the due date.
