Zero signage telling you where to park your truck and staffing obviously had issues because we had to wait for 15 minutes while the only employee put propane in someone's tank and then she still didn't have time to help us because they were two people in front of us so fortunately was nice enough to tell us she would check us back in after she was done with them so we didn't have to wait... Of course this was all because your app refused to take a picture of the mileage. On neither leg of the trip could we use the app to check in or out.AIMEE L.

Had multiple issues with the rental vehicles from your company. First vehicle had a broken gas line had to return it unload it into another vehicle. Second vehicle would not drive straight it had a crooked front wheel turned right by itself had to return it unload to another vehicle. Third vehicle kept getting warning lights on the dashboard twice the vehicle would overrev requiring us to pull over and stop the oil pressure gage would peg out when I checked the oil it was sludge had to add oil twice along the way. We booked a container drop-off through UHaul and someone to help us load the container. The first company UHaul booked didn't show up, they then charged us double the amount for another company the following day. When that company showed up, they were 3 hours late and said they couldn't do the move that day. They said they would come back at 9 am the next morning. They didn't arrive until 10:30 am, and as they were loading kept repeating that there isn't enough time. They loaded items that I asked them not to and left others that I asked to prioritize saying there wasn't enough time. Finally, when the box arrived in Florida, when we asked about arranging drop-off, contrary to what the booking person said, the location in Florida did not provide drop-off services. I was specifically told upon booking that we could arrange drop-off once we arrived. So we rented a truck in order to drop off our box ourselves. When we arrived to pick up the truck and container, they were available however the location did not have a trailer available. We then had to return the following day in order to pick up our box. The worst part was, when I contacted customer service regarding the initial box delivery, everyone passed the buck on responsibility and no one could help me. I requested to speak with a manager, and was told that no one could get a manager but they would put in a ticket for a manager to call me. I never received follow up. Eventually, I was told that the contractor U Haul had booked for me, was no longer on their contractor list and they were no longer working with them anymore. The experience cost me a lot more than what was agreed to, putting me in a bad spot for being able to move by the date I had to vacate my property. It also cost in the days I had to take off from work in addition to the original move date. Overall, every step of the way was poor. The pick-up location in Florida was helpful and acknowledged the mistake of U Haul not having a trailer. Up until then, no one from U Haul or the companies they contract from was helpful or acknowledged the extra burden.DEVIN B.

When it came time to return the keys, has to wait 10 minutes for someone to even appear out front. Then told us they were on break and couldn't help us. And again pointed outside to a drop box. The container was not at the correct U-Haul so the mover brought the U-Box late because they had to drive further to get us one. We really liked the movers in Seattle and New Jersey. U-Haul needs to make sure that the third party movers are not over booked. Our movers in NJ were over booked for the day we were to receive our box. So, we had to get other movers that were more money that was quoted and that we had paid in advanced. We had to speak to many people trying to get new movers and a new date.Allen R.

1. Person that assisted me never made eye contact through the whole process, made the interaction suspicious from get go 2. Stated I will be returning the van at 2pm when it clearly said 4pm 3. Suggested I return van back with ssme amount of fuel 3/4 or full. Asked why, his response "in case you mess up" Asked him about what that meant by that statememt, his response was an iritated chuckle. 4. Brought car back and there was literally no one in the office with customers other than Michael Jackson who was kind enough to leave his task outsidr to assist myself and another lady. Only once have I been to a uhaul and experienced decent customer service. Every other time the staff has been slow moving, unmotivated and for lack of a better term, stupid. This time I was charged an extra day because the person had me picking up at 5:02 and dropping off at 5:30. A whole extra day for 28 minutes. When I was leaving from Seattle the Uhaul was vey difficult to work with as they sent the mover to a location that didn't have the U-box. They then sent them to another location 40 minutes away and there was told that I didn't have a reservation. It then sent them to another location and it wasn't until I was able to speak both management and the locations that we were able to solve the issue. It delayed the move by three hours and because of it one of the movers couldn't be there to help and took longer.Nic H.

This particular U-Haul station was okay but we first had scheduled on the phone hitch purchase and install on the Rainier ave location in Seattle. When we showed up they did not have the parts and the install person was not there. They rescheduled us for the next week without letting us know or getting our input on if that timing worked for us. We had to call customer service to learn about that re-schedule. When we showed up the next week they still did not have the parts! We had to run around Seattle, purchase our own hitch and install parts and then come to Othello to get it installed. This was a TERRIBLE experience and we will not be using uhaul again. We would like to request a refund for the install price as well as a reimbursement for the hitch we had to purchase since your team could not provide one.Emma S.

Parking was so terrible I had to have a worker back it up for fear of ripping mirror off. Unlike the last truck I rented this had no backup camera. The insides smelled like dirty booty and smelly feet. When trying to roll the drivers window down the roller handle was broken. Hitch installed improperly. All but one bolt installed backwards so spare tire is resting on bolt ends and doesn't fit fully into well. Wrong washers used in places. Michael on pickup was great. But had let me know that if the mileage differed before I left to take a photo and they'd adjust. I noticed it was off - actually reporting 15041 vs. 15023 on contract). I took a photo as well as video of the odometer before leaving as instructed. I made note of this when I returned and understood it would be adjusted. 30 minutes later I received my bill for the greater-mileage. I opted to return to inform / check for the correction. Employee was not able to adjust, contrary to what I heard upon return. He phoned the manager who I understand *MAY* take care of it tomorrow. But was informed I should return again on Monday. I was also asked too provide locations of everywhere I drove.... Did my best to accurately describe, but with my video from pickup, this seems like simply making a hoop for me to jump through which I don't really appreciate. It is not feasible to spend 30 miles and 1+ hour to return Monday. Other issues: 1) working to check on my overcharge, I phoned UHaul - waited on hold for 30 min only to be disconnected (prompting me to drive back). 2) truck had numerous deficiencies. 2.1) LR turn-signal burnt out 2,2) Stability control error / disabled 2.3) ABS disabled You can reach me at (206) 419-9295 if you'd like to discuss.
