At points in time the storage facility electronic gates were not working properly, therefore, access could not be had. Also, quite a few times the hours of operation were not adhered to with no notification of possible available hours, nor a contact number for inquires. However, for the time period we did have the unit it was definitely adequate, clean, well lite, with friendly and helpful staff when they were available. I would use this facility again, as well as recommend it to others.

Biggest mistake I made was going into the location to ask for support. I got here and found out this is a secondary location. Wanted to see the size before I ordered. They then said that the primary spot is a little bit away. Went into the main spot on 163 street and had the worst experience ever. Waited 15 minutes to be seen to then be told by the gentlemen they didn't have any storage available. Would have to come in tomorrow. And somehow he was sure the next day it would be available. Even showed him the link online which said it was available. He stated that it wasn't and if I got it online, I would still have to come in. Luckily my wife went ahead and bought the locker online and within 2 minutes I had a gate code and a locker number with a lock placed inside. Couldn't believe how easy it was. Got in and was able to use Sunday to move everything I needed to. Will never go into the location again.

The free month of storage came as a pleasant surprise and handy just for renting a trailer one way. I actually needed it when the person I was bringing my stuff to for shipping overseas had a death and had to leave the country suddenly I needed to put my stuff in storage just for a couple of days and U-Haul saved the day. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again. The people were great too.

Had to cancel use of facility because storage was unreachable up a ladder. When making reservation I explained that I had heavy furniture couches etc .There was no way to get them into that loft for storage.

First of all, all the signs posted read access 24/7 to the storage facility. However, I was not granted access after 10:00 pm and no one told me that I needed to pay an extra $10 to benefit the 24/7 access. Secondly, I informed your staff on Saturday December 11, 2021 that all my belongings were removed from the unit and that it was now empty and available to be rented out. She promised that she would take care of it. Five (5) days, nothing was taken care of resulting in a $133 monthly charges for nothing. This had caused me to make another trip to the facility by taking a video of both empty units to show that both units were empty and that they needed to close the contract. Also I rented a 20' truck from you guys when I returned the truck. You guys charged me $36 for 2 gallons of fuel but yet I accidentally left my personal dolly in the truck. When I return a few hours later to retrieve it, it disappeared in thing air. Somebody clearly inspected the truck before renting it out. They realize the fuel was low but they did not realize that this dolly, totally different color from yours, didn't belong to you guys. I was told that I lost my dolly forever and no one will return it or pay for stealing it. This is the second time o lost items left in a truck rented from your facility. You need to have a lost and found policy to keep customers items left in your truck to be returned to them when found, otherwise this is theft. So let's fix the problem so no other customers will lose their precious items forever in the future. I hope you get the message and take swift action to fix the problem Mr. Tony, thank you.

so far this has been a 5 star experience! very easy, all digital and everything accomodated my own scheduling. i love the first month free and the air conditioned facility. i am a little concerned about vermin being an issue just because this is true for any storage facilitu but cannot say one way or another regarding THIS facility. so far super happy!!

Son un desaatre. Fui dos veces en horario de oficinia y nunca hay personal para ayudar. Uno de los dias eramos 3 personas tratando de acceder al deposito y los códigos no andabam. Llamamos muchas veces para pedir ayuda, una de las veces dijeron que mandaban a alguien. Esperamos mas de 1 hora que venga alguien y nada. Yo gaste tiempo y plata contratando un servicio de mudanza para que lleve mis cosas al deposito y no pude llevarlas. Tuve que volver a descargar todo. Quien se hace cargo de eso?

I got licked in the courtyard while on the phone with corporate looking for anyone who worked there. This location was sent an email by corporate telling them I was locked in and I never got a response. My unit is flooded and I can't get anyone from that location to call me. 24 hour access is available however required an escalation to occur in order to receive the 24 hour access to the unit after calling the location twice and was told I had it however that was not accurate. Then called Customer Service they said there's an extra fee for 24 hour access which was inaccurate again as nowhere does it state there is a fee for 24 hour access. Website coding is inferior as my reservation is not linked to my account and states " * we are unable to associate the order to your account". But logging in using my reservation order number and last name was able to see the account details just not associate it to my email address. Logging in with email and password again, the same error message occurred… But received the sorry to see you go email message and rate my experience from U-Haul to the same email address. Can only assume Uhaul will not charge me for any more storage fees. As impossible to associate the order to my account. If I did not save the order reservation number it would have been like the order never occurred. U-Haul being a national company should be able to afford developers & QA resources who can code and test functionality effectively. Too many issues for a storage facility.

The only thing is that the storage room was a bit higher than expected but again it was more economical than ground level I had to pay an employee of the company to help me store 8 27 gallon containers. Because I could not climb the stairs with the weight !! But I guess it's ok

I rented the uhual storage to store a couch, I made the reservation online so I wouldn't have to check in at store. The uhual facility has a second storage facility 3 blocks away but that was not made clear during my reservation so I had to go to desk for help anyways, then when I finally found the storage unit it was was 8ft above the ground with a ladder! How is anyone supposed to move a couch to a storage unit 3 ft above their head?! Makes no sense why a second story storage unit would even exist. After wasting more time than I wanted, I went back to get a walk in storage unit, in which they told me they had 1 for twice as much as my previous rental price, I cancelled my storage unit right there and had to go searching for a new storage unit. Not only will I never use this storage facility, I will be moving in 3 weeks and was planning on renting a truck from here, but I will be taking my business elsewhere based on my terrible experience with this location.

One of the worst experiences at a storage facility I have ever had. The address given to use for storage was incorrect. There was no one there and no one picked up the phone. we found out (by luck of googling nearby uhaul locations) that the actual rental office was 3 blocks away. We went there and there was only 1 employee who was very slow. She took almost an hour to get us checked in AND then booked us for an outside unit even though we had requested climatized. She said they only had 1 climatized unit and it was a 2nd level unit. Next, our gate code did not work to get into the building, so we had to leave and come back. The 2nd level unit was also an absolute nightmare to load our heavy boxes into using their wobbly ladder.

The customer service was horrible. The ladder was very much unsafe as well as the storage unit unsafe. The area smelled like urine and it was definitely not something i would recommend. Even while trying to get a refund the person i was dealing with had no idea as to what they were doing.

Stated multiple times over the past months. Constantly people living and sleeping in the gates. Asked several times for assistance with a car always in front of my unit with a person sleeping in it. Asked him to move his car and he said no. I reported it and moved out immediately. Every single time I was on site someone was sleeping in their car or unit and always a smell of urine. Made my wife very very uncomfortable.

I was only standing outside waiting for someone to open the door for 2 hours while holding for a uhaul customer service rep to explain why the office is closed at the address they sent me and then uhaul rep apologized they sent me to the wrong address! First arrived in unit to find no lock so had to drive back to main office for a lock. filled my unit and left. Next day: Check in keypad is on the wall so I have to pull up, get out of my car in the rain and check in on keypad, then hop in my car and I pull to the next keypad to open the gate, gate opens, I pull to the 3rd keypad to enter my unit in the rain, it says access denied code not found, I go back to my car in the rain, can't go back to the 2 previous keypad since the gate closed, so I drive to the exit to use the intercom, staff answers quickly and says she is coming soon to reset system, I wait 20 mins nobody comes, unable to enter my unit that I just filled. had to leave so wasted a trip there and a day without my items.

Representatives need to be more kind hearted, respectful, alert and efficient when serving the public. When this covid-19 pandemic started in March our son's school sent everyone home. We live out of state and are accustomed to using U-Haul facilities and equipment so there was no question when I called this location to inquire about renting a storage unit for my son and 2 classmates to store their dorm belongings that it would be fine. Mind you now...our son never told us or complained. Well I rented the unit sight unseen because of the rush. Fast forward to August 28, 2020 we go to the U-Haul unit to move him out and were shocked beyond belief! We expected to see a normal second floor unit but this was what looked like a jail cell with weak metal beam floors (Unit F22)that you must use a tall step ladder to access not the normal garage type doors! Then you must walk down the tall step ladder to move in and out without falling down the step ladder to your death. This facility needs to be checked and perhaps the design updated for safety standards! If I had known how these units looked I wouldn't have patronized this location. I know that each U-Haul facility is individually owned and operated BUT I wish there was a way to officially request some sort of monetary refund of the fees paid because there is No Way that unit should have cost as much as we were charged. Please Note..I Have Not reached out to the facility because I don't want to be mistreated or spoken to in the way that I witnessed the representative speak to another patron. Please step in and assist me with obtaining some sort of monetary compensation in refund.

I really loved the staff and everything went very smooth but I can't give a great rating because my storage unit flooded back in June and come to find out it had just happened a few months before . Definite drainage issue. But once they get that fixed, which they are working on, I would recommend because everyone was super super nice and helpful!!

Customer services need to improve or change personal. Really !!! I moved from my unit G39 on 7/13/2020 after two years, because the bad customer service I received on July 11 2020. After Waiting 45 minutes Outside because nobody was in the location where my unit was. They asked me to go to this location 2269 NE on 63 rd north Miami to get help, but instead I had this girl very tired demanding me to pay instead helping understand where my new unit location. It was a rainy day, she was not helpful, so I decide to rent a truck next day and move out. I got a great service on the phone getting the truck but my luck I had to go back to this location again where everybody have a bad actitud and bad customer service.

I have 4 years my storage in the same place but more the 2 years have a problem for the office. Nothig the people is inside you need the call for the personal comming. What is the security?. Only the cameras. In this week I decided leave the place. I going very angry for your fault and your less consideration for the costumer. In this weekend I called the office but my cod.not response and never open the door. The central office remitted my help but never the people comming.For this reason never come back and never recommend your service.

I will never rent a storage with UHAUL again. I lost all my things. twice they called me because the facility was flooded. I lost the main things I wanted to save. Mt king size brand new mattress and the Italian bed. I when to you because you were suppose to be the best nation wide company. Turns out you are the worst company. I lost around 10 K of valuable things I wanted to store and on top of that I had to pay you monthly so your company could ruin it. I will make sure everyone in my network realizes that your company is the worst company for storage purposes.

The facility was good and clean, however we left because was the second time in less than 6 months that we have problem with flooding in the premises. The first time was in December and the second time last week. People were really nice and helpful in both occasions. We moved to a facility that has storage rooms in a second/third floor.

I called and spoke to a woman about changing the date since I caught traffic on my move and had to move my reservation to the next day. She went above and beyond, allowing me to stay positive on a not so good trip. Next day when I got there she remembered me, gave me close storages since I needed two of them, and was wearing a mask, directing employees and customers, and made me feel safe. Awesome job.
