If your company truly is trying to help customers, one suggestion I have is to provide a full tank of gas in your rental trucks. And then expect your customers to return the truck full. It's very frustrating when we as customers, are told to return the truck 5/8's full. How are we supposed to do that? It looks like it's 5/8's to me. But according to the PICTURE I took you estimated it to be 2 gallons short!! How in the heck do you figure that out by a PICTURE! Just wondering if the PICTURE revealed it to be 2 gallons too much, would I have gotten a refund for the extra gas? I'll probably never know. Another issue that I had with this rental is the front desk staff convinced me that I would get a discount if I chose to return the truck to a different location. Still not convinced that I received that discount because I never received a detailed receipt upon return.

The Manager Lisa was very kind on the last day I was moving out my Storage unit. There was an incident about the parking and some of the Staff were not very friendly. Lisa was kind enough to Apologize about what had happened which she was at the Property at the time. For the amount I was paying and how the lot was for each vehicle to park it is not organized. I found a brand new, much nicer and more convenient Storage unit for less monthly, but the same space I had at Uhaul which makes me so glad to leave this place. I wouldn't recommend this location (North Lynnwood) to anyone because the Staff needs better communication and friendliness. Other than the Staff, it is a great place to have a Storage Unit. The main issue was Staff are parking in the spots that are made for Customers only. Which is not good Customer Service. In the end, I'm done at this Storage place and for possibly giving future recommendations for Storage here, I most likely won't have good reasons to give. Thank you for your time.

Horribly understaffed. Waited for 15 minutes in an empty lobby while people queued up behind me. Finally somebody showed up who wasn't trained on how to run the main order desk application. Managed to get the rental trailer I was told wasn't available via a phone call from an agent, but was actually there in the real world. Yikes, what a nightmare!

Tried to check-in with APP, but it was a bit too clunky for a first time user, and not intuitive enough and friendly. Needs more refinement. Especially with respect to documenting equipment condition and fuel tank level (notably when fuel level doesn't meet U-Haul's stated fill level.

I rented a 20ft truck, and it felt like it would fall apart. First, I come to me on empty, even with a reservation. The car needs some work done to it. You can tell it has been overloaded and possibly wrecked. Did It feel safe in it I recommend retiring the. Truck.

The mobile pick up didn't actually work the way the app said it would and when I called customer support they weren't helpful they just put me on hold the transferred me to someone else, when I arrived at the U-Haul location to pick up a different truck the lady was rude to my gf saying that we just didn't get the key for the mobile pick up but the app never told us where to pick the key up from. When I told the person helping me this she said that's a lie I just put it outside in the box. Overall it was difficult to figure out what I was suppose to do and all of the employees I dealt with other than the owner were rude

I found it hard to get detailed information on the website. E.g. whether I'm allowed to deliver to the U-Haul facility, and whether movers can deliver my stuff directly in the pods without repacking into a different truck. The posters physically in the U-Haul location were very informative, maybe you could post those on the website.

I had a harness installed at a different U-Haul location about three years ago-out of warranty. The guy at this location told me it had been wired wrong but wasn’t willing to just remedy the issue rather he wanted to do the whole installation. When I made the appointment I wanted to have my current harness tested and that wasn’t done. He simply said he wasn’t going to sign off on the previous guys hack job. So I paid twice for one job to be done correctly

I don't know how you expect to ever get repeat business with the horrible customer service you have. I reserved a trailer and an appliance dolly to move a fridge. After I arrive to pick them up you tell me you don't have the appliance dolly at your location even though the computer says you do and you allowed the reservation. I have to drive to another location to get the dolly and back again for the return. So now I've spent an extra hour and a half of my rental time just to get the equipment I need. You wouldn't even let me return the trailer and dolly to the same location. It was a complete waste of my time. If I could give zero stars, I would. I wouldn't rent from you again or recommend you to anyone even if you paid me.

Jake, manager, was great. Very professional and supportive of our needs. Website, not so much - 10x10 unit was indicated as available at this site. I reserved it weeks in advance, only to find upon arrival, that they only had two 5x10 units available. This was the website glitching, not the management of this site. The spacing is inadequate for our needs. We have no alternative, so will make do as best we can. I suggest UHaul develop some sort of high rise kits to allow customers to utilize at least part of the "air" space in these small units - like a storage bunkbed platform. I am disappointed in that the smaller spaces will not accommodate our furniture. I have no way to put the height of the unit to use. Despite that, the staff at this site were wonderful and helpful.

I was charged 3 times more than I am supposed to. The receipt added additional services without notice. I was not contacted before charging. It's super unprofessional and straight up cheating to take my money without consent. I will never ever recommend UHaul. The staff seem to be sneaky in charging additional fees.

This location was fine. And the customer service was good. This location had to correct a mistake that their headquarters/traffic department/ main booking department (whatever you want to call it) had made. I made the reservation online and received confirmation. Day of pickup the vehicle I reserved was not at the requested location and was not available at the time I had booked. Someone in charge of my online booking decided to change the location and time of pickup and decided to not inform me of those changes. Not cool, U-Haul.

The only problem I saw had to do with office staffing. There were 2 of them most of the time, which were all the positions for assisting customers. Dealing with contracts takes quite a a bit of time so the wait could be lengthy even for more minor matters. Phone calls were usually referred to the national help line but for some things such as pulling a U-Box to pack, national could only leave a message. Most of the time that worked

Honestly, everyone was so kind to me. I didn’t intend to get a storage. I thought my move would be seamless but when it turned out I needed help. This U-haul location was here. They were attentive and kind. They were honest with me and helped me through a really rough time. I am grateful for the employees here. If I ever need a storage again I will come here. So I have had the storage unit for about 5 years now. I was moving out of the storage unit 11/24 when I arrive to the facility and all the parking spots were taken up. The parking spots for cars and also the parking spot for larger trucks(where you can load and unload your items conveniently) were all being used. I was not expecting that it would be busy the day after Thanksgiving but I was wrong. The truck loading area had 3 spots for larger trucks. 2 of the spots were taken up by Uhaul trucks but with that being said there was 2 Uhaul trucks backed in to the spot back to back So the there was actually 4 Uhaul trucks in 2 of the parking spots that were for larger loading jobs out of the 3 spots that they have available. The third spot had a car in it. Let me say first I was in a Penske 12ft truck not because I wanted to use Penske but Uhaul didn’t have any vans available for rent so I went to Penske because they did, just to find out day of move that they did not have the smaller van that I originally wanted so they offered a truck at a discounted rate when compared with Uhaul at that time was cheaper. - I Digress With no where to park we parked in what I would think was a Uhaul spot for trucks that are waiting to be rented and no one to ask I walked in to the shop and ask someone behind the desk ( there were at least 3 people behind the desk at this time- 2 of them were helping people.) where should I park this 12ft truck to load my items. I was told at this time to park next to the fire hydrant which was closer to loading spots but it would of been in the way of other trucks and cars coming in so we just parked in the spot where we originally parked and went along with emptying the storage unit. There was plenty of trolleys to use so three of my friends and myself grabbed them and was able to empty storage unit with in minutes, and I go into store to tell them I’m moving out. Which was easy and fast, but while I wait for my receipt I over hear a customer stating her concerns that why isn’t there any parking at this time. I hear this older lady say she lives in a 500 hundred square ft in law suite and this storage unit is where she places all her extra items and that she had been here for years and that she has never had a problem getting parking. ( I have also been here for years and also have never had a problem) I then hear the staff member behind the desk state “ management has told us to park in the parking spots and if the space was needed they were told to then move their(staff members) cars.” When I walked into the shop originally looking for parking not one person that sat behind the desk offered to move their car but I was shown somewhere else to park by staff member which i felt was not a safe place to park. I felt for this lady and her legitimate concerns. I also felt that they could have noticed this lady having to use the ramp with all her items managing her stuff going down the hill and at that time move their car then but nothing was done on their part. Turns out they were not busy they just limited where people who have units can park to one which was inconvenient to the one person who was there to use it at that time. I was able to manage moving my items but I also had help from friends this lady was by herself. I don’t understand why Uhaul even had 4 Uhaul trucks sitting there not being used with one loading lane which that lady was using, and staff were taking up the other parking spots , But hey I’m not meant to understand everything. Storage unit was always easy to use, clean, well lighted I always felt safe using it. Had limited interaction with staff members so I can’t really say a-lot about that, besides yesterday’s encounter.

I had lost my job back in May when my child had attempted to end her life so I am super grateful to this facility for not auctioning my life away when I wasnt able to pay. Not only did they allow me to move my stuff out but they offered me a deal that was too good to be true. I definitely would rent here again when I am able to make the monthly payments. Although the storage facility itself deserves a high rating, the guy in the office was extremely rude. He is not friendly in anyway. For that reason alone I wish I had gone somewhere else. You'll know when you encounter this guy, he's got dark brown hair, glasses and a condescending, cocky attitude. I'm not sure why he works in customer service at all.

After being a customer since 2013 I received a call that we were 32 days past due on rent when we have always had automatic withdrawal for our monthly rent. The lady that called me said I don’t know what to tell you we don’t have your card on file and we show you moved in on 9/4/23. Um what?! We have been there since 2013 you can look at our ledger that shows we have been there that long and had automatic withdrawal for our rent. She had no record of this and now I’m receiving a move in survey so we are very concerned that our belongings were removed. We will be there as soon as we can to remove our belongings.

Access to the platform to load or unload was at most times challenging. The spots were filled with uhaul trucks of all sizes when there was an overflow of trucks on site. Elevator way to slow. Customer service was sub par. Parking of any kind was difficult

I had a 5x10 room reserved at this location on the app - or so I thought. When I arrived to this location on move-in day, I was told that the app doesn’t work because the staff at this location don’t have a sufficient system for keeping track of which units are occupied or not. Which seems silly - seems like a pretty important part of running a storage facility. Anyways, the staff member was nice and offered me two storage units of a smaller size, but this was not feasible with my furniture shapes. They were not helpful in providing alternative solutions outside of this, and seems quite confused about the process overall. Possible that they were a new employee, though they didn’t say so. I ended up securing a unit with a different storage facility. But what’s most frustrating is that I was driving a U-Haul truck so I was paying for gas. I wish there were a sort of reimbursement or consolation for folks whose reservations aren’t honored day-of.

We rented 2 units. The second one had a lock on it and after hauling our first load upstairs, we had to return to the office to get assigned a new unit. Other than that, everything was fine

The staff was courteous, calm, and very efficient. I stood in line and watched how the staff responded to the customers. Many people were in line for service. Some of the staff would take the time to come and ask customers in line if they had a reservation or needing packaging or other materials. This was more efficient, in my opinion, to help move customers and deliver more services to the customers. I observed these staff members working together as a team; which helped the customer experience better service. I also observed the staff asking questions if they needed help serving their customers. I felt that the respect the staff showed to each other, reflected back to the customers.

This location has been so helpful. There was a slight glitch, and they had everything resolved to my satisfaction. I have used them twice now, and the service was excellent both times. The staff weren't afraid to ask questions to their peers, and it was good to see the staffing working together as a team. The respect they showed for one another reflected back to the customers. I highly recommend them. I also recommend you book what you need in advance, the early morning line is usually long, and sometimes they run out of what you want!

Well for starters no two people had the same information about monthly payment. Theres a large sign saying 1 month free when you rent a truck, one employee told me yes it was fine if I had a uhaul from another facility, another employee told me no and there was no manager on site. Next I parked my car when trying to unload and the male employee, long hair, wearing a cowboy hat told me A BLACK WOMAN, "don't park here, because monkey see monkey do". When I told him that maybe he shouldn't call black women monkeys, he just laughed. Awful experience and I won't be using this storage much longer.

It worked out really well .. interim storage for a year and then dock to UBox to ship across country. Very convenient location on a multiple highway hub.

1. Long wait in lines 2. Ordered a large storage unit went to the unit after loading carts and going up to 3rd floor and it was already rented to someone. Then was given 2 small units not next to each other because they didn’t have anymore Large units (but at least same hall) but the 2 small ones isn’t even the same size of the large put together (I measured) Had to wait in another long line again btw. While Kaine the “owner” was helping me, someone else came and told the same guy who made the mistake to help me because Kaine was desperately needed. But I didn’t want the help of the guy who made the mistake. No remorse either by him but he’s probably right about it being the computer. Oh and one of the lady workers was being disrespectful to the manager in front of customers. I don’t know what happened before but when I came in it was a lil tense and now uncomfortable for everyone who heard and saw the ordeal 3. Went in to tell them I can’t fit my stuff as I originally ordered a large and Philip (I think was his name) was not helpful as he was the one that made the mistake by giving me someone’s else’s unit. I told him I need another unit and I would like it free of charge (I thought it was fair given the situation but I admit it was asking a bit much especially with this staff) He told me he gave me 2 units free as if he was doing me a favor so I just asked for a manager 4. Kaine was definitely helpful giving me the 3rd free and being kind but I can tell he’s way over his head there and I think he just needs training to manage his team and store better. It looks like this location threw these untrained employees there and said “good luck figuring things out” 🤦🏽‍♂️ Anyways I was able to finally leave, after returning the truck (after waiting in another line of course) 4 hours later 😎 (wasn’t all their fault as I had to load a 20” truck but the lines and giving me wrong unit and then 3 different units not next to each other but close didn’t help) I’m done 😅

I was rented a unit that was already occupied. I had help to move things into storage; however, when we came to the storage unit was locked and the office was closed. We ha e to keep the truck for another day and I have no help to put things into storage! I am 70 years old and how can they expect a disabled senior be left with no help and the wrong storage unit!?

To claim to be a climate-controlled facility and it was 82° in the facility was a bit much. Made being there miserable. The prices continuously hiked, it got so expensive I had to move to a different storage company.

Even as I am typing this, I am standing at the uhaul on 145th and highway 99 in Lynwood Wa. It is 10:45 , one employee, 16 people in line. Philip was rude racist. One of the problems was there was no communication between the employees. Alex set us up after Philip jerked us around. Two tour 65 yr old veteran. Someone please call me. (316)992-8033

Absolute nightmare experience here. Came to load a U-Box container after spending 2+ hours loading it in 90 degrees and driving almost an hour to get there. When we arrived, we were told "their warehouse was closed" so we could not access the UBox, but we were there 2 hours before closing. Absolutely NOWHERE is it posted that their warehouse closes at 5. I checked all emails, google, uhaul websites, even my contract. When the GM was contacted, he in a matter of seconds basically said "too bad" and there was nothing they could do. Ended up needing to leave the truck there overnight and return (almost an hour away) to load it into the ubox the next day. Had to rehire help to come again a second day (after paying an hour the day prior just trying to get this situation resolved - none of which was spent unloading the truck). Then drive to return my truck, then BACK to Lynwood store (in a $75 Uber) then drive my car BACK to the city where the truck was picked up. Because this was yet another way they were unable to remedy this. Not to mention it's Mother's Day. I've now spent 4 hours today finishing up a job that could've very easily been done in the hour we wasted in the store yesterday being told there was nothing that could be done. Overall, this costed me 2 additional hours of help ($100), a $75 Uber, and roughly $20 in additional gas making additional trips to Lynnwoood and back from seattle - so a little over $200. Not to mention the additional 4 hours spent finishing this up on Mother's Day. Kaine did the best he could with the situation but this was abismal. Uhaul needs to make this right. Or at least make your "warehouse hours" visible somewhere if they are different from your store. And communicate with your customers paying you over $1000 what time they are able to use your services.

Front desk guy with glasses was very rude when giving instructions… When I had gotten to my unit the alarms went off because we were not given clear instructions from this man… When going back down to the desk to ask again what we had done wrong?? He mocked us and proceeded to tell us again what we needed to do, but this time with a rude tone of voice as if my boyfriend and I are stupid or incapable?? I’m sorry but last time I checked you’re working in costumer service… and your attitude and actions show me that you need to be retrained…. The other gentleman who was on staff was amazing! Keep up the good work!! :)
