We had an incident with our lock in which we didn’t damage but it’s ok but either way was always very rude when assistance was needed. Training should definitely be required when serving customers.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If I was to improve on anything, it would to add a runner to assist the clerk at checkout. One person checking customers in, getting the equipment, then verifying it with the customer leads to other customers waiting for an extended time.

I am very pleased with my Uhaul storage experience at the store across from Bosh. I used the storage near 526 and had a GodAweful Experience. That place is a dump and the management was horrible. Whenever I need a rental or a storage unit again it’s the store across from Bosh that I will use. My overall customer experience was amazing and that young lady Isabella is very well fit for her job.

This location is my go to location for UHAUL. The grounds are always well maintained and the equipment is always well organized. The manager is super efficient, helpful and just an all round rockstar. Well done.

Too many issues to list. Too many people not knowing what they are doing and was nickel and dimed to death. If you would like to know the full list of complaints give me a call. Suffice it to say, I will not be using Uhaul again in the future.

I wasn't pleased with the lady who waited on me. The General Manager. If you're going to ask a customer to take off their glasses so that she can take a picture of you so that she can be assured that I'm the person who's renting the worst and raggedy truck on the property. Needs a reality check. I've traveled many States and rented from U-haul in the past and I've never felt so violated. I had to ask her, where's the keys to the vehicle. She said, in the truck. As though, I was supposed to have known that. She had two customers waiting to be helped. Instead of asking someone to bring the truck around. She decided to go and get the truck herself. Making sure that I had the worst and ragged truck that also smelled like smoke on that yard. Never again will I do business with this company. As for recommending anyone. Never!

I rated it poor because my locks were taken off and replaced with someone else’s locks there’s no telling if my things are stolen are not. I can see if they put another lock on the storage since I am due for payment but to just cut off my locks and have them replaced is crazy to me.

Choose the facility site unseen and was immediately disappointed at how old and unkept it was in person compared to pictures. Trash, dirt, and furniture frequently littered the outside of units. After less than two mouth we found signs of droppings within unit so immediately moved to a newer more secure storage facilty which cost additional time and money. Also found the storage unit area not easily accessibe since you had to step outside vehicle to punch in code or swipe card to gain entry into gate.

I am 5ft I rented a truck with no side step. I had to dangle my body from the side and slowly slide out the truck. There were no dollies available to rent FOR my move. The customer service was excellent. The truck itself was average.

My drop off experience was just as great as my pickup experience. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. Our goods are currently stored in their facility. Incorrect charges and difficult issues from the start. Old wooden boxes that had wet rot and shredded covers ?? I had to send them back and start over. Calling anybody is a nightmare as you wait on hold for ever and then they rout the call to the wrong location.. I had to wait 3-4 days for a refund on an incorrect charge. I had two boxes and only used one. The one was returned with all the pads in it. The second box was returned with out pads because they went back with the extra box. Now I have been charged for missing pads when I specifically saw the girl notate that ALL the pads were in the one returned container. If some one by chance does answer your call, they are not the ones to look at the account or issue proper charges and credits??? Way tooooo Many mistakes and reps not knowing how to do their job correctly and efficiently. My last task will be to call and try to get a reversal on the charge for the pads....people who are moving hate surprise charges, and do not have the time or energy to do this kind of annoying thing.

unit leaked and caused water damage and mildew to accumulate along the bottom edge of several items touching the floor along the back of the unit. no recourse offered by management. at some point, the door was bent inward by someone else (probably by backing into it), thus making it very difficult to open.

The climate controlled price for storage was reasonable and I was there for 5 months and they did not increase their rates. The staff is always super nice and there if you need them and the premises are well kept and clean. No complaints about this facility at all. Great experience with them!

As usual this location comes thru in flying colors. Auto transport was in good shape with good tires and ratchets, paperwork and hook up was done quickly and professionally. The Uhaul on Dorchester by Harley could take some lessons from this location, I'll never go there again.

I made reservations for a truck and 10x15 storage unit 4 days prior to my date. The man at the desk told me I had to put a card in file to reserve. I asked him did I need to pay now he said no you will pay when you pick the truck up. On the day of my reservations after my arrival I was told they didn’t have any more of the sizes that I made reservations for. The gut working front desk wasn’t knowledgeable about a lot nor helpful. The general manager was a little more helpful and apologized.

my pods arrived and my items were damaged. The process took almost 30days to move here from west coast and Uhaul was of little help or support. I will be requesting a refund to cover my damaged belongings

I thought by putting my furniture in there it would be safe. But when I went to get it out it was completely destroyed. I put in a claim but I lost a lot of items that meant a lot to me. I pay way to much each month to have nothing left. I would NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

The store location that I went to was excellent nice people cleaning equipment But the day before I went to several locations in Summerville, and the equipment was so dirty I did not even want to rent from them and two different places. I went also had a field full of equipment, but would not rent them. No one to talk to in some case. So I called U-Haul and they sent me to a location. Had a yard full and They said they do not rent. So I called them back U-Haul that is they sent me to one in Ridgeville South Carolina 30 miles away from where I was that they had a field full of trailers with grass growing up over the cinders of all of the trailers. No one to talk to could not rent very very disappointed. Started my journey at 9:30 AM trying to find a trailer and at 4:30 PM. I said forget it. But when I talk to a Dorchester Branch on Dorchester Road. They were great. Probably need to check on some of the private locations renting your equipment.

My unit was not a climate control. However I didn’t expect an overwhelming intrusion of rodents and pine dirt dust and debris . I complained about the amount of pine dirt etc that was getting in the unit they claimed replaced . And the Rats Drippin OMG we’re big and disgusting. The rat ate through clothes boxes and chipped furniture etc
