You really need to train your staff better. The young lady that helped me today had to go ask question's pertaining to how to do something, and another young man had to ask the girl mentioned above to do something that he didn't know how to do, so they both wanted to help but we're not very knowledgeable. The girl above also backed a uhaul into another Uhaul.

The only other visible employee got in a U-Haul truck and left without offering to help us return the trailer. The employee who was working on the vehicle in the return area ignored us until I asked if anyone was supposed to be inside. He responded curtly, “Yeah, she's busy.†I asked, “So are we just supposed to unhook the trailer ourselves?†He replied, “Yes, just leave it there and she'll check it in.†He did not offer to help and made me feel like we were bothering him while he was busy ignoring us. Terrible lack of customer service. I have no idea how much longer we would have had to wait around in the empty store if we hadn't gone outside and asked what was going on. Hard to recommend this location to anyone.

Roger K.First, my credit card was charged well in advance of services rendered. Then I got there at the scheduled 11:30, discovered an error in the charges so they were incorrectly asking for more money than I already paid, and discovered that the person who would be installing the hitch didn't even arrive until noon. I never received the promised call before work started to confirm the billing error had been fixed, and in the end I didn't get out of there until 3pm, 3.5 hours after I arrived for a 1.5 hour job. In short, I'm furious.

Terry G.I drove my truck a documented total 12 miles, I put 2 gallons of gas in it, before returning it, and then I was charged an additional $30 for 4 gallons of gas for the vehicle, for a total of 6 gallons of gas for driving 12 miles. Seems like a little overkill on gas to me. That was really frustrating to me.

Instead, I was given two smaller and extremely inconvenient units- inside and upstairs where we couldn't bring the truck (it would have been hours of backbreaking work to unload and re-pack. The staff were not friendly or apologetic. I cancelled the reservation and went to Public Storage, where everything was incredibly smooth, easy and comfortable. When I returned the truck the next day, I had barely opened the door to check in when the person at the desk yelled at me from across the store that he didn't need anything from me and to leave the truck and go. My experience with the truck and pick up in LA was good, but I will never return and will never recommend U-HAUL storage. Public Storage was a far superior experience.

Deborah V. | First ImpressionsMy husband and I arrived at our local u-haul facility after a 9 hour haul. We had confirmed reservations for drop-off and storage unit. However, the clerk disappeared when he couldnt find us in the system and some time later a manager appeared. He stated that I had no such reservation for storage or drop-off. There were about ten frustrating minutes of the manager stating (almost taunting) "We don't have your reservation and you SHOULD have the paperwork in hand". I let him know, as a manager, that to blame the person for the FU done by U-haul was in bad taste. When I made a call to corporate U-haul, they found our reservation right away. The manager still refused to process me or even look in the computer during the call. When U-Haul sent over the reservation directly his manner changed instantly. Suddenly I was a paying customer and not a vagabond looking for a free box to crash in. Even so, they were out of the storage unit, a 5x10 space. we had reserved to unload our belongings. So, a 10x10 was finally located and it was 2 times the cost. And the space was down a harrowing tunnel of fluorescence and metal doors that would have been ever so tedious to traverse and painstakingly slow to move items on a small cart down such a long hallway. We decided to put our stuff in a shed and forego any more transactions with u-haul. I would not recommend this U-Haul location bc management is rude and the line was so long. Several customers were told that the trucks or storage that they had reserved were not available due to overbooking and shortage of equipment.

You can smell chemical odors when you drive by their open units, that appear never to close, only to get tarped closed. They also jump out and scream at you randomly while visiting your own unit. This went on for 4+ months. I attempted to message you via your website but got cut off multiple times. As a busy person with a business, it took me some time to find another option. But I'm thankful I did. As we were leaving another homeless person with a large full shopping cart was moving into the storage unit down the hall. Our lock looked like it had been tampered with and the unit door looked like it had been bent at the bottom. I've always had good service by you folks at other locations. This location is just horrible and needs to be rebought by corporate. The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. I feel like they owe me for at least half of my rent back, due to negligence. I was paying for my things to be safe and they were not.

Thank goodness the 3 people I talked to on October 3rd 2020 were very helpful and understanding on what is happening there. Also Ron I did get a refund for a whole month there because of you! I am looking forward to talking to his boss soon and I am not going to hold anything back from him. I will never tell anyone to go to this location because of the general manager there. I have never been so disrespected from any MAN as I was with RON!! I could go on and on but I will be definitely not going to let this go till I get to the top person of uhaul!

We needed to rent a truck and get storage in a major hurry. The staff were super helpful, and the manager even helped us out with locks, because we didn't have the right ones, or the money to buy them right then. I am impressed with the security of the facility, the ease of access and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this U-haul location for truck rental and for storage.
