The picture on the side of the truck was different than the picture provided during the confirmation process. when I called the u-haul customer service I was told that wouldn't be an issue because the serial numbers matched up. I thought it'd be good to mention. Have a lovely new year!

There are people smoking drugs and living inside at least two units at this location. You can smell chemical odors when you drive by their open units, that appear never to close, only to get tarped closed. They also jump out and scream at you randomly while visiting your own unit. This went on for 4+ months. I attempted to message you via your website but got cut off multiple times. As a busy person with a business, it took me some time to find another option. But I’m thankful I did. As we were leaving another homeless person with a large full shopping cart was moving into the storage unit down the hall. Our lock looked like it had been tampered with and the unit door looked like it had been bent at the bottom. I’ve always had good service by you folks at other locations. This location is just horrible and needs to be rebought by corporate. The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. I feel like they owe me for at least half of my rent back, due to negligence. I was paying for my things to be safe and they were not.

Teach him how to make your deck on a trailer I asked for 19 put a deck they gave me a traitor that was 19' that a troll foot deck had to drive to go it my time I got back there close to get me back the next day and I got charged full price for something that they gave me wrong though I think it's very poor shabby way to do business thank you

While the idea of the after hours return app is good, it did not work for me. I could not get past step #2 when uploading a photo of the equipment. I called after hours help line. 800 go uhaul, was on hold for 15 minutes and then was cut off. Fix the return app and all would be good.

When the customer is returning a truck, the directions say, stay in the truck and they will come out. This never happens. We have rented several times and we always end up going inside for the return.

I want to start by saying that Vincent did an amazing job of restoring my faith in uhaul customer service. This entire reservation was a disaster from the very beginning all the way up to the point that I went to pick up my truck. From the moment I walked in Vincent was professional, courteous and took care of business. I was in and out of the office in 10 minutes. My problem with this reservation was the online ordering and scheduling. I scheduled my truck for October 25th along with two moving helpers. I was supposed to ick up my truck at the clackamas location. The problem is that uhaul reserved my truck for the 25th but booked my moving helpers for the 24th. Thankfully the moving helpers contacted me the morning of the 24th to let me know they were in their way and I was able to tell them I didn't pick up the trick until the next day. I called uhaul to find out what was going on. 40 minutes on hold and I was able to speak to someone who changed my reservation to the next day so I could get my truck and moving help on the same day. Then I get a call from clackamas telling me that they don't have a truck and I need to go to Milwaukie. The poor communication and attitude I experienced during this nightmare have solidified the fact that I will never use uhaul again. The McGloughkin location did a great job and had no part in this screw up other than the fact that they took care of getting me a truck and showing actual professionalism and customer service.

When I went in on Saturday, 10/24 at 12 noon - the young lady behind the plexiglass was NOT wearing ANY face covering (she was behind plexiglass) and the woman she was serving was NOT wearing a mask. I didn't want to make a scene, and it took EVERYTHING in me not to report this to OR OSHA. FOLLOW THE LAW! It does NOT matter what your employees and customer think - read the law about mask mandate and follow it in this location - it is that simple! All other employees were wearing masks. Tim Neville.

I have rented UHail before. I rented from a location is Lake Oswego not long ago. I have never rented a truck that was so permeated with the smell of smoke. I may be extra sensitive to smoke but I did t expect to encounter it in a rental. In my short time in the truck I got a severe headache and nausea. When I returned the truck I specifically told the man at the counter that my complaint wasn't aimed at him but that I felt that I should have been able to expect a clean truck and that I was unhappy that I was feeling poorly because of the truck. His response was, “ok”. Perhaps I would have felt somewhat better had someone at least said that they were sorry.

The older man who assisted us didn't point out the gas gauge illustration on our paperwork (showing that the truck was only 3/4 full of gas to begin with) and we spent $40 on gas filling up your truck for you. You're welcome. Two other younger employees came inside while he was helping us, neither one wearing their mask correctly. When someone doesn't wear their mask properly, it literally says "I don't care about your health." Not a good look, U-haul.

I have made a reservation for a trailer for one (1) day. When I picked up a trailer in the morning at 8 am, their representative asked me - When do you think you'll be done with a trailer? I said probably within 6 hours. I returned the trailer within 8 hours by 4 pm on the same day, and I've been charged a double time (2 days). When I asked - why I was charged for 2 days when I used it for only 8 hours. They said very rudely - it is not their problem. Next time will rent from Home Depot and never have problems like this.

General manager let’s people live in there storage units! They are homeless people! When I talked to Ron he was very Rude and not wanting to do anything about it! I was told that he has a lot of Nice homeless people living there!!! The facility is not a home to live in. The whole place is filthy with used needles and garbage all over! I had to move out the next day. I was talked to horrible from Ron. I was also told that I should go look at other storage places they have the same thing going on there! Every time I went there I had to go to the office and report a problem. Mostly talking to Ron. I never felt that my stuff was secure there. Really all I have to say it WAS THEY WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A UHAUL! Thank goodness the 3 people I talked to on October 3rd 2020 were very helpful and understanding on what is happening there. Also Ron I did get a refund for a whole month there because of you! I am looking forward to talking to his boss soon and I am not going to hold anything back from him. I will never tell anyone to go to this location because of the general manager there. I have never been so disrespected from any MAN as I was with RON!! I could go on and on but I will be definitely not going to let this go till I get to the top person of uhaul!

I wanted to rent this 6 X 12 trailer in Oregon City. I did not receive a text & email until about 4:00 pm the day before that the trailer was to be picked up at the Milwaukie U-Haul. I called Milwaukie and was informed the trailer at OC had not been returned. I don't always check my text and emails, so I could have showed up at Oregon City 8:00 Saturday morning, only to find I had to go to Milwaukie A phone call notifying me of the change would have been nice. After getting the trailer and paperwork, I was not informed that I needed to accept the condition on- line. Again, I just happened to see the text after leaving the property with the trailer. Maybe better communication by phone call would help, and not rely so much on texts and emails. The staff at Milwaukie U-Haul were all personable and knowledgeable an I would recommend this facility to anyone needing a Rental.

I was billed for 2 days even though I had the vehicle for 22 hours and was also charged 15 gallons of gas when it was brought back at the same level. I had to speak with the manager who refused to acknowledge I filled the car but stated he's doing me a favor by reimbursing my unused day. After arguing about the fuel charge we realize I drove 60 miles and that being charged 15 gallons was actually incorrect also. I'm still stuck paying for gas due to incorrect info they had and even after this he continued to charge the 30$ fee and 6 gallons of fuel. This manager has extremely poor customer service as if he did not care. Please offer him some training. This was a unique situation with 2 big faults on u-hauls part but he made me feel like I did everything wrong. Unbelievable.

The Services that were provided for my ratings were renting a 20 foot truck and 8 boxes and they were 5 star in those fields only thing that seemed like it could be a toss up is the location of the boxes in the middle if the store blocks the staff from being the first thing you see and stops people from possibly being able to still shop and mantian a distance . We drove 1600 Miles in a U-Haul 20' ford f450 towing a classic bmw from Portland to Tucson. I had no experience driving such a big rig let alone towing a car, the Ford f450 tow/haul tranny worked beautifully shifting up and down over mountain passes. No issues at all! In fact I drove almost 700 miles one day because I had complete confidence in the U-Haul equipment.

Received van with approximately a half tank of gas Filled it back to the place that showed on the gas gauge told up on return that it was 7/10 under what I received it at was charged $4.00. $4.00 is not much but if every customer was charged a fee for gas it could amount to significant overcharging by the company Being told at pick up it had an approximate 1/2 tank is very subjective It should have had full tank at pick so that the customer has a gauge to judge the amount of gas that needs to be refilled to. Questionable practice

This past winter, when my mom had to move to a nursing home, we chose this location purely for it's proximity to out home. We were so fortunate. We needed to rent a truck and get storage in a major hurry. The staff were super helpful, and the manager even helped us out with locks, because we didn't have the right ones, or the money to buy them right then. I am impressed with the security of the facility, the ease of access and the professionalism of the staff. I highly recommend this U-haul location for truck rental and for storage.
