Zane G.The people who work there are great. When we arrived to pick up, the truck was not ready. Homeless people had snuck into the back. The manager was very nice. She pulled the truck around and got it cleaned out. One huge issue with the truck was a very strong smell of burned rubber. Even when we returned the truck, the young man noticed it. He said it was an older truck. Other than these two issues, the rental was great. The employees were very helpful and polite.
Tamara L.The location that we set up to rent our equipment from didn't have it at pick up time. We had to go to a location that is farther away. Also, the traffic pattern is very tricky to maneuver due to a roundabout that's right in front of their location. It's tricky to spot where to turn in, and a difficult turn to make if you're hauling a trailer (as we were). The employees were fine, no issues with them. Just the inconvenience of having to go across town and into another city, and difficulty in navigating the lot of the other location.

Dave A.THANK YOU STEPH!!!! The only reason I can say anything positive about my experience is because of Steph at the Glenwood location. We ran into an issue at absolutely every moment possible. The first day we got there will all our stuff, the original unit, which we were told would fit a one bedroom apartment (we had a studio), was WAY too small, and Steph had to walk us over and help us find a new one. We loaded everything into the unit and began our 3 week wait for our house. On August 1st our house was ready and we were ready to be moved in only to find the entire parking lot under construction and employees trying to tell us we wouldn't have access to our unit that day. Steph was the only one who physically walked us around to a back gate so we could access our necessary items for our home. I was expecting to have all our stuff moved out that day which now was impossible, and my partner and I started work the very next day. My partner called and spoke with customer service to ask for an extension for our unit due to the construction and the representative in the scheduling department was extremely helpful. We were then told that the employees had no idea the construction was even happening and it was inconvenient to them as well, which is an awful thing to do to your employees in the middle of the summer on the first of the month. We are finally moved out of our unit and will never ever ever be doing this again. I'll drive 2 hours to Bend to store my stuff at my friends house before I ever go to a uhaul for storage ever again. Steph you are a ray of sunshine thank you for all your hard work, you really went absolutely above and beyond for us multiple times. Please give Steph a raise seriously, I'm confident that she's the only reason that building is operation. Thank you Steph!!!

Timothy B.The uhaul inside windows were dirty, truck was on quarter and was told it was over 3/4 upon return so they made us fill It up . There was a leak in the front and damaged tons of boxes leaving a huge mess for us And damaged furniture. The brakes were burning up day 1 into our trip. Overall it was definitely not worth the price paid. I called throughout the trip And made complaints but no help support or anything what so ever. I expected after showing picture and damage to all of our stuff we would be reimbursed something but still nothing.
CHRISTOPHER M.The mileage alloted was 150 miles short of what was needed. I was then charged for that extra 147 miles. There was no truck when I arrived and I had to wait over 2 hours for one to be provided after driving from Seattle area to Eugene,OR, to pick up the truck. No compensation was provided for the extra 12 hours of driving to pick up the truck, nor the gas for my personal vehicle to get to Eugene, OR. Then I'm told that no one added the extra mileage to the reservation so I'm charged for mistakes on the uhaul reservation end...this is such bad business management!

Michael V.Pick up and drop off location was changed and never communicated. All confirmations via text and emailed showed my chosen location. I proactively called a few hours before pickup time to make sure everything was in order, it was not! The pick up location did not have a truck for me. Was transferred to scheduling, talked with Becky, she was not helpful, and started laughing and ignoring me as she said “oh my boss is looking at me right now saying they forgot to call and tell you the location changedâ€. So, this added and extra 30 miles, time, and fuel to our experience, with no offer to remedy the inconvenience, that wasn't even communicated to me! Extremely poor experience, unprofessional customer service. The people where I did end up having to pick up the truck were very nice and helpful, the scheduling issue was not there fault. So thanks Becky and your boss for costing me more time and money because you did your job poorly!
Rhys P.After loading my MC on trailer and went down the freeway I experanced vebration in trailer so we went back to Uhaul and told them about it. At least 2 of the people there looked at it checked tire pressure and said it was fine, but it contuned the whole trip. Made a very nervous trip.

Worker tried to convince me to not rent unit do to laziness, I assume, because they neglected to tell me they don't support uboxes at that location and that my Ubox would be across town. Extremely disappointed that my experience was just as I feared it would be. But not surprised. Wasn't expecting it to work from the start. Am glad my box arrived in one piece, at least.

Most storage rooms are upstairs, two flight of stairs and no elevators. I had no choice and had to get this storage since our uhaul was due. I preferred moving storage facilities because we would be working harder not smarter since all of our belongings are extremely heavy. I rated this place a 2 out of 5 because the positive stars go to the customer service representative who was amazing. The low rating is for the inconvenience of upstairs storage unit.

Apparently the online system overbooks units? Luckily I was able to get one but that is just terrible business practice and puts a terrible burden on your employees who have to turn down people who have reservations. Do better uhaul. If I had not gotten my unit I swear I would never use U-Haul again, still probably won't, don't want to drive 4 hours just to be told your unit isn't available.

The staff was sufficient, so this review is mainly the frustration I've experienced with U-Haul. First my truck wasn't available and now my unit isn't available? Absolutely unacceptable. I had to change all my moving plans around and now have to take an extra day off due to the incompetence of U-Haul.

Cynthia A. | Overall ExperienceBad news:Though the staff were great, the office gets a big black mark for telling me the wrong thing about storage rents: I was told that no notice was necessary for vacating the unit, and that our rent would be pro-rated and the unused portion refunded. Not so! When we cleaned out the unit, THEN we were told "oh, sorry we told you that . . . it's not true. Once you have paid the month's rent, there is no refund even if you move out early." So beware..

The move in was a joke where I had to push a cart up a steep little hill through a tiny door. I broke at least four plastic bins moving into a 5' tall unit. This was the most difficult and stressful move in EVER! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It's dirty, small and the access is horrific. This is the last straw in my attempts to use U-Haul. I AM DONE! Nothing ever pans out the way the website says it will.

I had never been to the location and the gate was a bit hidden with all of the moving trucks in front of it. It would've been helpful to know which direction to head to access the gate. Also, it would be helpful to note to customer when online booking is complete that the unit will be ready for customer access and customer is to break the green ties that are holding the doors shut. I was a bit confused as I didn't know I had authority to break the tie myself and had to request the help of an employee. Amy was so helpful and very nice. Besides these two little hiccups, everything else was great.

Doug M. | Overall ExperienceThe worst thing I saw was employees helping homeless people into the storage facility. I believe some homeless were living in storage units. I saw one bring all his groceries to the unit, including a cooler with ice to keep his milk cold. That really isn't okay or safe for people who are storing their belongings. Also, I saw multiple mice at the facility and most of the employees never wore their face mask. Overall terrible experience.
