After I book 2days ahead for a cargo van to be pick up at 9am I was there waiting for 1 hr, there is only one attended who was doing his best to keep us waiting.

U-Haul doesn't require the customer to be there when the U-box is picked up, however it might be good to mention, that while it isn't required, it is helpful if the customer is there. Especially if they live at a place where navigating a large flatbed truck may be difficult.

Check out experience was frustrating. The qr codes didn't work ..I didn't know how to turn my locator on. I walked around the building to the other key drop box. Bleh... but the rest was pretty smooth. I appreciated the humor from the desk person.

I was uncomfortable with how the male employee spoke to the female employee. It would make me uncomfortable to work there. Maybe she was fine with it, but it definitely wouldn't have been ok at other places I've worked. Employees were respectful and kind to me.

You charge entirely too much for mileage. Isn't it enough we fill up the gas tank, and pay ahead for the vehicle. After THAT unpleasant surprise, $200 auto-withdrawn from my account on a day when I've got auto repairs, I'm not coming back. That's totally unacceptable. You need to bill.

Uploaded pictures of the mileage and gas. Was a discrepancy between what I was told the trucks tank was at vs how full it really was. I was still billed for not filling the tank even though I submitted pictures of how full the tank was before use. Annoyed that your system didn't update my rental account. Maybe have your employees actually check the vehicle before assuming the condition of you it.

my pickup location was changed and i missed the part in the text where i had to confirm the location change and my 26' truck reservation was cancelled. I had to instead rent a 15' truck and it took three trips instead of one.

The vehicle that I received had not yet been checked in when I arrived for pick up. The vehicle had electrical tape over the check engine light with 7 different codes, as well as the weather striping on the windshield coming loose very soon after leaving the pick up location.

The truck the original gave me wouldn't start but the main mechanic guy was super nice and fixed it super fast. When I first got the key there was no direction on where to find the truck. They didn't tell me go to the left or go to the right and so I had to go back and be like hey where do I go and the mechanic I told me what row it should be in.

The cab had a very strong scent of gasoline. I did call and let you all know that it was very strong and that we had to leave the windows down on a very hot day with the air conditioning on just so we could get through this. Unfortunate my dog didn't do real well but we kept the windows down and we did the best we could to try to control the intensity of the smell. This is a long trip from Washington state to California so you can only imagine in a very hot time of the year. We would like to know if there's any way we can get some kind of a discount because we were kind of captive audience because we already filled the truck to the brim and it wasn't like we were going to just take everything out and put it in a different truck. Would it be possible to get a refund of some of the money that we spent because there was nothing we could do basically.

The rig that we were given out of the Everett Washington location on Evergreen Mall Way was not in good condition in the sense that it had a leak into the cab that we smellt emissions from the engine I'm assuming. It was very upsetting especially to my dog who doesn't like chemical smells at all so this was a problem because he was stuck in the cab with us for this 1000+ mile relocation tour. I did call to formulate a complaint because of this but because of the amount of calls you always taking I was not able to reach a live person to explain what we encountered. I asked if we could get a credit check sent back to us because of this. I don't know how this is all going to come out but I think it's only fair we spent a lot of money taking this long trip back to our home.

When picking up the vehicle service was great I believe she was the manager. Dropping off later in the day when manager was gone service was horrible. I pulled up got out of the truck and the guy looked at me and walked away on his phone. I went inside and the girl said I had to see the guy outside like I was supposed to know that. I asked him if was the person to see and he said I'll be right there with his phone in his hand. 5 minutes later he comes to the truck checked the back got in and started it then walked away to talk to a guy that pulled up in a pickup truck. I had to go find him to see if I was good. He just gave me a thumbs up from afar. I went back inside to close out the contract. The girl again asked if I needed help, I said yea I'm trying to return the truck. She said the guy outside will help. I said he gave me a thumbs up, she said then you're good. You really need to work on communicating with customers. This is all after I was not able to get my original truck the weekend before.

Jamie shouldn't be in customer service, I've never had such a rude response to a customer complaint. When the manager called she was very defensive. First thing she said “I heard you had issues, what were they” I told her what happened and she said “I don't see anything wrong in these pictures, everything looks like it's connected” I told her to take another look and then she saw. She was very rude and defensive, talked about they don't look under the trucks and that it was the repair man's fault not theirs. She asked how much I wanted refunded and I said 1/3… she said that was a lot and said she had to talk to her manager, I told her to have the manager call me but she never did. Saw later that night she left a VM saying she is only giving me back 300… guess the safety/satisfaction of uhauls customers is worth $300…. I WOULD STILL LIKE A CALL FROM HER MANAGER… my request was ignored

I only rented a pod and never saw the facility. I would not recommend a pod. They are cheaply made, offer no security, and the inabiliity to choose when it will be delivered, is a deal breaker.

When I got there to pick up my Ubox I NEVER got any paperwork, Getting my box was a HARD in location. Still NO paperwork no verification who I was, Drop off was fast and easy great there No receipts!

This was a nightmare. I hired Uhaul to bring 3 Uboxes from Chicago to Washington, only to find out on the day before delivery that they won't take them the final 50 miles. DO NOT USE UBOX.

The u box wearhouse is at the back of the building. No proper sign boards. And could not figure out where the front desk is. Was standing outside for several minutes before the attendant came out.
