Customer service, and yard/equipment maintenance workers were a pleasure to deal with, but time and time again what I've reserved is not available and I'm left with less than ideal options. This time was no different. I was able to accomplish what I needed, but at much additional effort and personal cost.

Denzel D.Get more servers! Your website takes forever to load and you're wasting time in two expensive places: 1) I used Upack for some of my move and U-Haul for some. U-Haul was a bit cheaper, but I nearly switched to Upack the second time my initial order timed out while I was trying to place it online. You nearly lost me as a customer due to your slow website. 2) You are paying your own employees to sit and wait for pages to load while they're out delivering, scheduling deliveries, and otherwise just found their job. Think about how many hours each employee is spending waiting 15-45 seconds for each page to load (if it ever does load) instead of doing their job. That's really expensive. I cannot imagine that the cost of upgrading your server capacity is more expensive than the money you're losing to pay employees to wait for pages to load and the lost customers who gave up and went with another company. The new steel Ubox is fantastic though! On par with Upack's relocube and PODs. I would consider using U-Haul again for all my stuff if I knew it was in steel instead of plywood!

Richard G.Awful customer service from the agent inside the store. Unhelpful and rude. Outside service was good. Rented trailer at 3pm, returned before store opened next day. Was charged for 2 days and an extra $20 fee for returning after hours. This will be the last time I use uhaul.

I ended up hanging up after 20 minutes of waiting. My fiancé had to call uhaul as a whole and not a specific location to get any help. The lady we spoke to there was kind and so helpful in helping us navigate a stressful move. I will not recommend this location to anyone. I truly am appalled by the way I was treated and lack of professionalism through this location.
Katerina A.What's the point of making a reservation and putting your credit card down to guarantee it. When you show up and there is no truck available for you!! We were supposed to get a truck for 24 hours but had to bring it back way before this when they finally took a truck from someone else 21/2 hours later. You guys should have to give me my money back for such poor service. The gal working there must have used the “F†word 2 dozen times. It was a joke!! I will NEVER EVER rent from you guys again!! I will make sure none of family and friends do either!!

JonathanDale H.I've been to this location several times and always had friendly service. Checking equipment out always takes too long, but I go in expecting that. Not at all related to this review is the terrible process of checking in equipment after hours. The mobile site rarely works, and getting through to someone on the customer service line takes a very long time. Then when you do get through to someone, there is a barrage of questions about the mobile site, what isn't working etc. It's late at night, I just want to check the equipment in and go home, not stand around being the test subject for why the site isn't working.
Ian M.Everett was very helpful in getting my packing materials and they were extremely understanding when I needed to delay pickup of the U-Boxes. They also kindly took back the extra furniture pads I didn't need, which was a life saver! The only thing that might have been good would be if there was an easier way to see how well the UBox is loaded. I was close on weight and despite my best efforts things were not quite balanced. Thankfully everything worked out, but I was worried as I loaded about the weight limit.
Toby N.These ppl are the worse in customer service. They told me the trailer had new tires and had been "gone thru" completely with new wiring. Tail lights did not work which i found out on a sunday after being fully loaded so trading trlr was not an option. Found out tires were not new but 2016 bias belted type. Spent 4 hrs after a blowout in misouri bc uhaul roadside ppl didnt have the right tire size in computer. 10 minutes afte geting back on the road in missouri we got pulled over by state police; license tabs had expired in 2020. Botom line: DO NOT TRUST UHAUL. NEVER AGAIN WIL I RENT OR ENDORSE UHAUL.

James R.When I picked up all was well and staff helped to hitch my trailer. When I dropped off staff told me I had to do a self return and did not help to unhitch. I got the impression that the staff hates their jobs and were not interested in providing customer service. I felt like a nuisance on return.

That isn't right to get charged for gas even though I put gas in the tank. Told my friends to not bother with uhaul and if they absolutely have to then don't worry about gassing back up since uhaul is just going to charge for gas money anyway.

I forgot to note the lady that helped us at the counter, she was amazing. Quick and efficient, good customer service. This is the second time she's helped me and it was a pleasure. This location has excellent employees. As a customer you are quickly helped and not in a rushed way. They understand that moving us stressful and do an excellent job of getting you what you need!
SHANNELL P H.Had some difficulty getting delivery setup when we ordered the Ubox initially. When we communicated with the Wayne MI U-haul folks - Megan- sorry no last name- straightened it all out. Big thanks to Megan. Please give her some recognition if you can track her down without a last name. This is the second time we've used a Ubox- good product- great service- reasonable price- eliminates the “time stressâ€- 5 Stars!

For the love of God, on a Sunday morning trying to get someone by phone because you don't realize my credit card has enough credit to buy your trailer was infuriating to say the least. People were great. But that policy sucks ass and needs to change it!

Jill O.The check in app TOTALLY SUCKS!!! Took 75 minutes!!! 1. The phone text-linked app would not accept my iphone location, after multiple efforts of allow, disallow, phone restart, etc. 2. The alternate method of scanning location code didn't work either - no code found anywhere in the supposed location per the app. 3. Chatbot was no help, either, except to refer me to actual rep. 4. The rep was courteous and helpful, when finally connected. About 45-50 min into the "easy" check-in process. Said the phone app might not work (why don't you fix it!!!). I'd have to install the UHaul app. So install, then have to reset forgotten password from uhaul account that I rarely use, disallow location services, reset phone, start app, let it enable location services, then finally do check-in. The personnel and business was great, but please, please, please fix you lousy software!!! Will seriously consider other local non-UHaul companies for future cases of after-hours returns so I don't have to go through this again.
Reid A.My overall experience with U-Haul was very poor. After making a reservation for a 17' truck in Bellevue which was then after being guaranteed not available I was bounced around three more times to various locations and eventually from Bellevue ended up having to go to Everett. And the truck was 26' not 17' which was much more expensive in rental and mileage charges. It cost me $250 instead of $100. Absolutely atrocious customer experience.

More importantly, please have manager check all sides of the building before leaving the customer a voicemail accusing them of not returning the rental. The trailer was literally right behind them and had been returned the evening prior. When I called them back to let them know, I had to wait 10 minutes on hold. Later I checked my credit card statement and found that I had been charged 1 extra day, so I had to call back to have that mistake refunded. A fairly unimpressive and underwhelming experience.

My only issues were that one of the pod doors was starting to come apart and had a slight opening on the bottom right corner. Luckily, no water got inside. One of the pods was at slight angle which caused the lock handle to be misaligned and it took a lot of effort with multiple people to finally close and lock for pick up. Other than that, I was happy with my experience!
