I chose to rent here because the website advertised that I could "Rent Now" for immediate move in and access to the building. I needed a storage unit as soon as possible after an unexpected situation with my living situation. Renting a unit here was the most affordable option and I had a free month with my truck rental. I not able to access the building even after receiving my access code and unit an hour before. The building manager was not responsive even after a dozen calls in an attempt to get assistance. There should be an on-call person who's available to assist with these issues. I spent an hour and a half outside of the facility until I had to give up and find another storage facility. This was the worst experience I've had with any customer-serving business. I will never recommend anyone to utilize this facility

Great service amazing staff!
RONESHA M. | First ImpressionsI picked up a 26' truck and when I got home and opened the back up and it was full of empty boxes and garbage. I was told i could either dispose of the trash myself or bring the truck back and they would clean it out. This put extra miles and gas use on for which i am paying for! I had already acquired a a 10'x10' storage unit and had another 10'x10' reserved and when I went to pay for the reserved unit I was told there was not one available. They said the only size they had available was a 5'x5' so I took it. The first one they gave me was already occupied and tagged for non payment. The second one they gave me we realized that was NOT GOING to be big enough what so ever so I asked for a bigger one. I was then given a 10'x14' and when I went to that unit there was a motorcycle parked in it! I was told that unit had been auctioned off and the motorcycle was not included in the sale. So at this point we (my movers and myself) found a 10'x10' unit that the door was open and there were no tags on it so I asked them why I couldn't have that unit. She said it hadn't been cleaned. I took it regardless. The young girl that waited on me the second time was more interested in her snack that she was eating at the counter than she was in waiting on me. This was NOT A good experience at all.

Lynette S. | Overall ExperienceThe price was good. Every time I went to my unit, the alarms kept going off. Always disarmed and rearmed my unit. My head hurt everytime I needed to attend. No one cared, I called the office, they did not care. Said they were too busy to come there. Entry bay doors were broken. I intended on a long term stay but couldn't handle the alarm siren. Moved out less than 1 month. If they don't care to respond to a phone call about alarms going off, how secure are my belongings? The north ridge road corporate store is managed by someone with the customer service skills of a child. Doesn't get her way she swears in front of customers. The west river road elyria location is managed by the north ridge road location and is reflected in the same mentality by the same manager. I will go out of my way to avoid that location and manager at all costs, you reading this should do the same. Posted October 3rd2021. Hope they fix this poor situation. It reflects poorly on Uhaul.

THIS IS ILLEGAL TO USE MY DEBIT CARD FOR PROCESSING A PAYMENT THAT WAS NOT GIVEN PERMISSION OR NOTIFICATION. The Latina woman at the facility, who was not nice or helpful or even cared, stated there was nothing that she could do and that the manager is the one that did this. I've complained about him, Tyler, before and this is an addition to his horrible service. I moved out on the 2nd and returned my access card on the 3rd with Isiah who said I would receive confirmation but he couldn't do it personally. It states in the corporate system this as per customer service but I still couldn't be processed a refund. I had to physically go to the location after a long day of work for no reason because the woman couldn't help me. I'm disgusted, disappointed and ticked off. THIS IS EGREGIOUS AND A GROSS MISFORTUNE!
