Hire a new person at the front desk. When we arrived, 3 uhaul workers were enjoying a good time together. We stood there several minutes with no pause to their conversation. I finally asked someone to pull up our reservation and he said in a minute! When i insisted, he got surly, and was surly the rest of our encounter. Nice location but terrible representative.James H.

Extremely busy on a Saturday morning to pick up the trailer. Took over an hour & we had already reserved it on line. We ended up keeping it over the 24 hours we booked it for due to my husband getting food poisoning. I called U-Haul they said they would not charge us because we didn't actually use the trailer. It was just parked. They ended up charging us for 3 days which is totally not what we were told. Very unhappy about that.Jay C.

We used 2 UBoxes and one of the boxes got mixed up (UHaul used the wrong box number). Thankfully, we put tracking devices inside each box so we identified that one of the boxes did not ship with the other one on time. When we discovered this, we contacted customer service but they insisted that our tracking device might be misbehaving and kept routing us to different call centers. I think they should have handled this better by not rerouting calls and doing the investigation on their side. It took 5+ calls over 3+ days to get a hold of someone who was able to assign someone direct to our case. At this point, they suspect that they mixed up the box numbers and sent the wrong box. We had to manually come into the facility to verify unidentified box was indeed ours (took 2+ weeks since our motivation for using ubox was so that we could travel in between moves, so this was a big hassle to get back to our original location). The people at the facility helping out were very friendly tho. Once we identified the box, we also had some trouble w shipping the mixed up box and getting refunds. They created a new order for the mixed up box but this ended up making $2500+ charge on the credit card (it was refunded but this should have been handled on their side as a â€œfreeâ€ order). Also, customer service folks have said â€œwe will check on ur box status and call you backâ€ but I usually didn't get call backs. Overall, we received our original boxes but I felt like I had to double check their work and had to keep following up on them at multiple different steps.Taehoon L.

U-Haul doesn't HAVE customer service. I spent a lot of time ultimately getting bad info on the phone. U-Haul held my U-Box at a depot somewhat close to destination without delivery for over a week and I had hire someone else to get it to the contracted final destination. All the time, my online order page said the box was still stored at the origin facility and, when delivered, stated status was unloaded within six miles of origin. My goods arrived late and the fact that goods were safely delivered had nothing to do with U-Haul, U-Haul a cheap alternative if you don't mind sending your possessions into a black hole of information.Cory V.

My U-boxes arrived 3 days late and during the three days no one from U-haul was able to tell me where my containers were. It was extremely upsetting and I wasn't even sure if they are still safe. The $50 compensation for late fee per day is very low compared to the hotel costs. The U-haul staff also made a smirky comment about why I need to stay at a hotel and that me staying a hotel due to lateness of arrival is "none of their concern". Customer service was extremely poor (the staff at the destination locations were helpful but the customer service at my originating location was extremely bad).Aurora G.
I made this reservation two weeks ago. I arrived at the location at the appointed time. We were informed that, "I'm sorry but we don't have any trailers available. We're overbooked". The attendant said, "We can get you set up and you can come back tomorrow." I explained that that wasn't going to work, as I had a dozen people waiting to make this move today. The attendant said something about the computer system messing things up, and not stopping sending more reservations than they had availability. She got on the computer to find a unit at another center before discovering that there was indeed a unit available on the lot. She explained that we could have this unit as long as we could promise to have it back by 6:30pm. I agreed that we could do that. We finished the paperwork, hooked up the trailer, and made it to meet our team on time. Whatever the source of the confusion, the clerical gaffe caused us a bit of anxiety. The attendant seemed overmatched by the situation. I will suggest improvements to the system to avoid putting your reps in a difficult and uncomfortable position. Had the location not been able to connect us with a trailer this morning, the disruption to our move would have put us in a critically difficult situation and mandated a very harsh review.Darrell B.

I rented the truck on the 2nd and returned on the 3rd. I parked in the return area and went inside and handed the keys to one of the reps and let him know the gas was filled back to the original level. A week later I get an email about the truck having not been returned. A phone call and message could have taken are of the this. They had to see the truck parked right in front of the sign and one of your guys had the keys. We rent from you at least every other week, usually the location on Leary Way or Interurban in Seattle.Joe M.

Was Switch from other location, U-Haul needs a better way to note the changes from original location. Our original pick-up time was 8:00 AM with a return of 8:00 AM the next day. When we went to pick-up they said it was due back by 3:00 PM, They were able to change the time to 7:00 AM the next day. They asked if we could return earlier, I tried to return after store was closed but the return row was already full. I ordered blankets online (12) and I grabbed a bag when I left the rental location. I didn't know there were only 6 blankets in the bag. I only ordered 12 blankets because that was the suggested quantity on the the online order form when I was reserving a truck. If I had known there was a smaller amount I would've ordered the smaller amount. The last thing is that I did not know that I was supposed to return the blankets when I brought the truck back. I returned the hand truck and furniture dolly, but I didn't know the blankets were supposed to be returned. I think signage at the stand that holds the bags of blankets and a sign telling how many blankets there are per bag. I think these two postings are a must. Thanks.Claire H.

T was friendly when I picked it up however he outlined the price for a 4 day one way rental (after I had been rescheduled to this location 45 mins away) then I got charged an additional two days on top of agreed upon price.
