We had a very excellent experience with U-Box. Everyone we communicated with was very friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely use U-Box again.

joann lThere is a lot of different layers of pricing that overall ended up very confusing from start to finish…. I ended up with several different charges in my bank and on my billing invoice that were really very confusing and when everything was scheduled at my final drop off, they were still confusing pieces missing, and I ended up having to schedule on the spot for unloading movers, which apparently were never part of my original invoice request which meant I still had to pay more again… apparently the only thing that was scheduled was the drop off… not the unloading, and not picking up the boxes… I was under the impression everything was all one package deal included in my original contract. I will.. but overall I would definitely use the service again. It was incredible convenience from start to finish once I got past the confusing pieces. The U-Haul agent on the phone that originally offered the service was a lifesaver when I thought nothing else was going to be available to transfer all my household items from one state to another.
Kari AThis was a very last minute, complicated rental with multiple, different people (family) needing to access this U-Box at different times. My brother was racing the clock with his home closing. I was able to get a box delivered the next morning. Also, This location was nice enough to temporarily hold the padlock key at the desk for a different family member to pick up. My baby was locked in my vehicle by mistake and boiled to death in your parking lot because no one would help me as I was being and crying for help for SIX HOURS. The police never showed up to help, none of the locksmiths in town were available, and with an audience of over 100,000 who viewed my posts on Facebook begging for just one person to show up to help, not one single soul bothered. This happened on your property, and your employees offered NOTHING. And so now the only thing I had left in this world of my fiance who was murdered in 2015 was her new born puppy, which I bottle fed and raised for 9 years, and had at my side through thick and thin. YOU (uhaul), YOUR employees, along with the sick twisted community that is Reno, Nevada are all responsible. Since this happened on your property, you are more responsible. The fees for cremation and transportation are approximately $3,700. As for the life that was lost, there is no price high enough to compensate for what you have all taken from me. She was the only thing that kept me going. Now because of all the selfishness and hatred, my life no longer has a purpose or any meaning at all. How much is that worth? The free month of storage that was offered WHILE I was in the process of being FORCED to vacate early due to being trapped inside your elevator with no way out and suffering the most severe and violent anxiety attack and mental breakdown while being threatened by YOUR employees........how much would you sue uhaul for if you reading this were me? You can ponder that while I am grieving, and wishing I had enough pills to put an end to the misery that is now my complete existence.

I had to be seeen by the staff to complete move-in which caused me to need to rent the uhail truxk an additional day also. Deceptive. Also, told staff a week prior, called the day prior - after completion- spoke to customer service day of *with promise to expect call from storage unit and termination/ no chatge+, after auto debt was attempted, and several contact us email/chats on the app -- only to find that uhaul attempted 9 whole days after move out, to get this months rent.

While researching online, a pop up chat asked if I would like to speak to someone who could assist me. I took the call, and she guided me through all my options. I learned how I could save money, and my costs were clear and well explained. We ordered more U Boxes than we thought we'd need, and used every last inch of all 7 boxes! We hired labor through U Haul in Alaska, Forget-Me-Not movers did an outstanding job. The deliver drivers both in Alaska (Brittany) and Nevada, (Shauna) did an excellent job of placement, loading and unloading. The Anchorage dispatch and Reno dispatch team were on top of our shipping process and worked like a well oiled machine. Well done U Haul! Every single item in our boxes arrived in perfect condition.

Jeremy NMy concern is that I had reserved several 10x10 storage rooms online and provided my credit card information to hold the rooms until my check in. When I arrived, I was told there was only one 10X10 storage room and it did not have a roll up door, it had a swing door. I was provided with two 5x10 storage rooms to make up for the unavailable 10X10. I asked what good is it to reserve a storage room with a credit card if I cannot get what I reserved. I was told that storage rooms were at a premium and if someone came in and rented it my reservation would be canceled. If this is your company policy, then you really need help with understanding great customer service.

They did not offer a free lock. And the hallways are very narrow. I got 2 units at Extra Storage for first month free for both. They showed me to my unit. The hallways and elevator to top floors are much more convenient. Got a larger unit at Extra Space Storage for $116 per month starting next month. UHaul storage is $169!

JUERGEN W | First ImpressionsWell I drove 715 miles set on having the size storage I reserved available for me because of the amount of stuff I was bringing along with me. The staff was helpful but the unit size I actually needed was not accessible so I had to settle for a smaller size which caused me to not be able to fit everything I brought like I had planned and now I have extra things left in the bed of my truck which I'll have to drive 3 hour west to see if my mother has a little space. Also when I reserved my Uhaul trailer in WA I added a appliance dolly to my order. When I arrived to pick up my equipment no dolly was actually available for me to use. Because of that I had to carry a washer and dryer and load it into the trailer and also into the storage unit alone. Staff was always nice and helpful but in the future I was recommend checking to make sure the units an or the equipment is actually available before allowing people to reserve them. If I had known I would have a smaller storage I would have gotten rid of some things ahead of time.
