Maybe just a squeeze more customer courtesy not from person that filled the forms out and rented the truck but from the other attendee that did not want to equalize the air in the tires even though they were reading way off and didn't understand the tire rating compared to the rating on the door the rating on the tires give load capacity and maximum and minimum tire pressures I found it frustrating when the guy just said oh we can not inflate, even though the tires weren't properly inflated but he didn't check he just spouted off dribble ..and did not help, when I had to go to a tire store which checked the tire pressures and equalized for the load i was going to carry...more customer service training is needed for him....and better listening habits would help too...ROBERT F.

Realize it's Saturday early morning pick up time however the customer service is poor and to begin with I was slated to pick up the truck in Albany and two days before pick up it got diverted to Corvallis so that added 12 miles to my mileage and U-Haul charge me for 4 miles over a dollar and $0.60 no big deal but I think they are cutting a little bit close and not much in the way of customer service there especially when I return the truck a day ahead of schedule for the allotted timetom D.

I only worked with 3 people there. The manager was outstanding and clearly understands customer service... he is a standout because of that. There was a guy helping you find your trailers as well who was also excellent, on top of things, happy to help, and super helpful/skilled. The only reason I gave this experience 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was a girl there who was very disinterested in helping, couldn't figure out customer service to save her life and couldn't even get me hooked up with my trailer without having me back straight into it by her hand-signs (and she did not seem very proficient at hooking up a trailer either). It was all I could do to ask her to move aside and let me hook the trailer up myself. But knowing the manager is awesome, and most of the staff I have ever worked with there have been great, I would absolutely recommend this Uhaul dealership.Marci S.

I brought my vehicle in for a hitch installation and when it was returned there was a large dent in my front bumper. The manager was able to verify on security footage that the dent was not there when the vehicle was dropped off and was there later, although footage did not capture who backed into it. He suggested another customer did it and said that they would pay for it. I received a call from the dealership's insurance agent and they determined that U-Haul was NOT responsible. I had to pay for the repairs out of pocket even though I left my vehicle in their care for a service I paid for. Not happy at all.Dennis H.

If U-Haul cannot provide and almost full tank of gas, upon pick up of the rental, then this should be made clear at the time of the reservation. This would help with planning and timing. Perhaps the information is mentioned somewhere and I just did not see it. Having to fill up an almost empty tank in our U-Haul made us change our driving plans and negatively impacted our timing. You may think it doesn't take a lot of time/effort to fill the truck, but it surely is frustrating to add another step into an already very busy situation.Mervyn R.

The truck that was given to me was in no condition to take on an out of state move. It did not track well going down the road, the tires were out of balance, possibly starting to seperate. I caught a rut in the road and it literally ripped the wheel out of my hands. I really feel a truck with 162000 miles on it should be a local only, or just retired truck.ZACHARY O.
My only â€œcomplaintâ€ (really more of a â€œconcernâ€), was having to walk so far, in the dark, past lots of storage units, (late at night when I returned the vehicle), to get to MY vehicle. I am â€œolderâ€ and have some physical â€œdisabilitiesâ€ which make walking difficult at times as well. (Granted, I should have thought ahead and mentioned my concerns to allow the staff to/see if the staff would come up with an accommodation.) Also, was unable to complete the return process electronically. Luckily, when I called (even around 11:30 p.m.), a very nice person took care of the issue promptly and courteously over the phone. My U-Haul experience was great. The employees are super helpful and friendly. The facility was exactly what I needed. My only problem was the difficulty getting through on the phone. The only reason I did not go with an excellent is I had trying calling the facility twice on Tuesday of this week, and no one answered, and there was not a voice messaging option. Instead my calls were auto-routed to UHaul Customer service which is a nightmare during the day - with hold times to get through to a person of 30 min plus. Yet when I called other UHauls in the area on Tuesday, I could at least leave a message and someone got back to me. Being from out of town I initially assumed on Tuesday that maybe it was an unmanned facility, as us the customers seem to have to keep doing more and more of the administrative work when buying something, renting something etc. and that is a big bummer.Robert H. | First Impressions
Overall everything was very good. The only issues we had were that there was nearly 1" deep standing water in front of our unit, #141. It just wasn't level for drainage. The other issue was the expense. Paying nearly $180 p/mo.for the 8X10X20 storage unit was pretty steep. I looked around and found another storage place with a unit that was taller, wider and deeper about 5 miles away for only $130 p/mo with the third month free. Online rental was quick and easy (similar to other services Uhaul provides), however storage access times are misrepresented. See screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/s4wayiH . "Storage Access" is stated to be from 5AM - 10PM with the option of 24hrs access as an additionally sold amenity. Unfortunately, this is not how the location handles it's accessible hours, instead you must use dual locks on your unit and request a key from the front office upon each visit, to unlock a secondary lock that the location owns. This must be done within business hours (7am - 7pm) and requires the physical surrendering (this is written during statewide quarantine) of a Uhaul accepted identification card, significantly reducing the usability of the storage. After 30 days, this inconvenience can be remedied by a fee increase of $120/yr for 24hr access. While stated otherwise on the rental webpage, there are not any actual access hours allowed between 5am - 7am or 7pm - 10pm unless special arrangements have been made with the front office per exception. This was not explained in any form upon move in. In fact, required front-desk sign in or supervised unit access is mentioned as a punishment for customer disturbances within the rental agreement and contains no reference to actual office hour requirements. Additionally, the confirmation email itself states that access hours are 5am-10pm Mon-Sun without any mention of a required check in. At this point I am curious what other red flags or fees will come about during this process that were left unexplained at the move in time or inaccurately represented on their website. I am understanding of the rules, that the location is allowed to set rules to maintain order on this premises, that the management is working hard to keep units secure for everybody and why this policy would be in place in absence of a gate. But with the combination of the false access times represented online & in the confirmation email, no mention of the specific access hours within the rental agreement itself and increased rent to use the access time already thought to be paid for - I feel that future buyers should be aware of this up front and take the omitted details into strong consideration when evaluating this location's service.Kyle S. | Online Move In

This is a poorly managed facility. The staff appears to be under constant stress and frustration. Maybe there isn't enough employee's to handle the load. I also was charged an astronomical amount for being late one day on my storage unit, I was charged for more gas on the truck that I had rented, which was clearly not needed and then when I closed my account a week earlier was told there was no prorate.
