Not enough help. Waited an hour to get help. Tried calling twice, first time, I was on hold for about an hour, the second attempt, I was on hold for one hour and forty-five minutes before they hung up on me because they closed while I was on hold.Roman E.

Only reason this location is ranked low is because they aren't allowed to pay enough to hire more employees. I had multiple appointments missed because of persistent understaffing. I finally got my hands on my uboxes a full month after they were supposedly delivered.Jon W.

My original rental location, Bandon, did not have the equipment available at my scheduled pick up time because the previous customer did not return the equipment on time. I was sent 30 miles north to Coos Bay as a result. Everything was fine once I got the equipment I reserved.Chris C.

Hire more people, and hire front end people with customer service skills. If that means paying them a better wage, do it. This location was grossly understaffed on a Saturday morning. The level of customer service was also lacking. I was told that the computer system is very slow on the weekend because U-Haul does system maintenance on the week end. This just added to the wait and overall negative experience at the counter.Kenneth G.

Customer service when I finally found someone was good, but I was sitting idly by for a few minutes waiting for a representative in the store. And upon calling the store later that day to inform them on the status of my vehicle rental, I was on hold for almost 10 minutes. I called multiple times and at good amounts of time apart to give employees a chance to do their business, but the issue persisted.Hunter B.

I had reserved a truck 2 weeks earlier at a different location but it was not there when I went to pick it up. I was very frustrated and disappointed that no one contacted me. I was very happy with the service the gentleman gave me when to a new location. If it was not for him I would have called and been upsetElaina P.
Need to hire more help. It took two hours today to pick up a reserved truck and get a receipt. This is no reflection on the obviously over-worked staff. They did their jobs as fast as they could... They need to double or triple staffing. I saw three customers just turn around and leave... Perhaps offer higher wages and better benefits?John T.

Terrible service on line , with very long wait time, no flexibility of rentaldays, it's two days only (tho I knew I needed for 4-5) and could not extend at rental location by phone.. unable to get phone response from central reservation or trying various web prompts, and drove an hour to rental location to book the additional days. Tried to check in at 645pm and was told the counter clerk did not know how to do that and to come back the next morning. Came back next morning at 7am to find that the unit I had reserved had a lock on it. Called the next day and was told it been rented to someone else and my contract has already been canceled although I was not contacted. I had to unload my trailer into my living room to get it turned in and it has made the room much more complicated and uncomfortable. Our first experience when arriving to unload our furniture/and extras we were supposed to by reservation have access to 3 storages but only one was available. So it was inconvenient but we were offered 2 UBoxes free of charge as replacement which we were grateful for. But we had to go else where to find another storage at another storage place farther away because nothing was available at any UHaul business. That was upsetting at the time but thankfully UHaul allowed us extra time to unload a our belongings at another storage place. There seemed to be a shortage of help/employees but they did do the best they could under the circumstances. They were very busy both times we were there. The old woman in the office didn't know how to use the computer. After over an hr of her trying to get us a storage unit, she told me to come back later so some one else could do it.
