Its pretty shitty to charge me for 7gallons of gas when I put $15 in before I dropped it off and only drove 50 miles. Bullshit if you ask me. Check out my rental. I also have pics of the dash before I left.

I returned my U-Haul after hours. I could not complete the process on either of my two phones. It would not allow me to submit the location. The next day an employee called me and said I still owed money, including for not returning it with enough fuel. I had absolutely put the tank right back to where I was required. While we were speaking his co-worker or boss was telling him something to this effect: "He better just pay it. It's less of a hassle. If he doesn't the corporate office will send him to collections." I explained I didn't feel comfortable paying the fuel penalty or a penalty for not checking my U-Haul in correctly after hours. I had made every attempt to follow the directions on my two phones. They were having trouble running my card. I'm curious as to whether I will see these additional charges.

I was told that I could bring the trailer back at 5PM the following day, which essentially allowed me to park the rig in front of my house without rushing to get it back. However, on the paperwork, the attendant put 5PM the same day, meaning I had five hours to drive 220 miles, load and unload the trailer. When I returned it, they billed me for two days of rent plus insurance. Supposedly, they are going to correct it, but it has not shown up on my statement yet and I have no email verification (only spoken words) of their promise. I have rented from this location and will continue to do so. They have a wide selection and are well located.

Had an issue with getting the truck when requested. They did not set it up for the 24/7 access like I needed but fortunately we were able to reschedule the movers and still get the truck when the location opened. Would recommend calling to verify equipment rather than assuming all is good to go. But they were overall very helpful, and I'm guessing the manager is who called me to ensure that my issues were addressed.

Lots of dings, scratches on the truck. Old but clean interior. Downsized from a. 26' to a 20ft truck. It's not a minor inconvenience it's a major inconvenience. Yes we sign the box but the lady on the phone was rude and nonchalant about the whole matter. I quote'It did say we were in low supply” Well it's not like I can say, Well I am in short supply of money Uhual, so I'm only going to give you half of what you are charging. The fix isn't just to say, well we will give you a tow trailer. First, I have to be able to safely drive it over a snowy pass but I am paying moving packers by the hour so I have to fill one truck up, drive across town while I'm paying these packers and get a hitch put on and drive back to then restart packing. Let's not even get on what the gas usage would look like to tow a trailer with a Uhual.

You have a truck that leaks water into the driving cabin, rainy day!! You charge me for one whole day of rental when I show up within one hour of dropping the truck off. When I say I wasn't informed verbally of the time I needed to drop it off. The person who checked me out told me twice, after I said that and if there was something he could do to help with that, he repeated... it's in the contract I should have read it. Really. No respect for you having a policy to tell your employees say that!! Will never recommend you!! Bad move😉

The windows in the truck were VERY dirty and at that time in the afternoon VERY dangerous to drive. I was going to have the truck for a couple of hours. I shouldn't have had to clean the windows.

I was provided a trailer with an excessively worn tire. I was concerned about this as I was towing it more than 500 miles in one day, during which inclement weather was expected (heavy rain, and potentially snow later in the day). I also had to travel over two mountain passes to get to my destination. When I explained my concerns about the tire to the U-haul employee and asked if I could swap it with another trailer on their lot with excellent tire tread, I was told the other trailer was reserved for a "one-way" rental and thus couldn't be exchanged. Since I was returning my trailer to the same location it was considered a "local move trailer". I asked if the entire wheel could be exchanged for one with better tread, and was told they don't have the experience there to do so. The employee then instructed me to contact "U-haul Traffic" to see if another trailer was available that day anywhere in the area, but didn't provide me with the number to call. He finally called himself and found there were no other trailers available in the area. He then said if I had a concern about the tire while in route I could call U-Haul Roadside Assistance. With no other options, I took the local trailer and headed out. As predicted, I hit heavy rain. The trailer actually hydroplaned twice through the heavy rain. While traveling over a mountain pass on the way back I experienced heavy snow and the trailer actually lost traction and slid sideways a bit. When I returned the trailer the next morning I spoke with the same employee I had discussed my concerns with the prior day. I suggested to him that the tire should be replaced and explained my experience. His response: "I shouldn't have taken the trailer if I wasn't happy with it!" REALLY?? I was and remain astounded by his response. I have filed a complaint with U-Haul. A Customer Service Manager provided a courteous but meaningless response. I'm still awaiting an explanation for what distinguishes a one-way trailer from a local trailer...

I reserved a trailer. Drove 3 1/2 hours to pick it up and bring stuff home from there. 1 1/2 hours before my pick up time they called to tell me the trailer wasn't available. I missed this call as I was driving already and out of cell service. When I arrived I had to call from the pick location. They did work to solve the issue but it cost me over twice the rate of the trailer and I had to tow my vehicle home. I also had to drive to another u haul location to get the equipment to resolve this.

I would never, ever, recommend uHaul. Our reservation was made almost a month before the pickup. Less than 48 hours before we were to pick up the 26' truck we were told they did not hold it. All we could get was a ten or 15 foot truck. This location pulled some strings to get us a 20' but I still don't know why the dispatch lied to us.

I rented a trailer for a half day. The trailer was due back by 9PM. I had the trailer back by 6PM. There was a website to contact due to it being an after hours drop off. I tried to submit my confirmation that the trailer was returned, and I couldn't get it to accept my information. I even tried a different device. Checking my credit card statement, I was charged nearly $100 extra, which means I was charge over 3 times what my expected rental fee was suppose to be. I'm not happy.

I almost was not able to get the size storage unit I reserved a month ago. There were 5 different people on the list for the same size (5x10) and there was only one unit available. I just so happened to be the first to check in. Now the other 4 people will not get the unit they reserved. This system makes no sense. Why would u-haul let you reserve a storage unit and then not have any available?? The system should show when units will be available and only allow you to reserve accordingly. The same goes for the trucks and trailers.

Very long (6-7 transactions), slow moving line of customers made getting to my reserved storage unit a 20 minute project. This was in part due several of the transactions walk-in transactions with little prep, research, or pre-registration done. The U-Haul rep, Michael, did a good job of trying to deal with this situation.

Was easy to get storage the same day. Was the only place that was open and easy to deal with on a Sunday. No contracts so it was easy to close our account once the storage was emptied out too. The only thing I would recommend is making the website a little more user friendly for online pay. This was the only bill I have had to call and pay over phone every month because the website wouldn't do what I needed and then I didn't trust it to take my payment and apply it correctly. I use apps, phones, electronic payments and all those things all the time so I am not technology illiterate. Other than that the service was a breeze and easy to deal with
