The facility was great, I received a warm and friendly greeting upon my arrival and someone was there to assist with my return. I could not have asked for a better experience!

The lady that checked me in was very helpful through the whole process.
Carrie D.I paid with cash and had to leave a 75$ cash deposit and when I returned it the guy said he wasn't a cash business and I would have to wait for a check to be mailed to me and he didn't know when that would be or what address it was going to be sent to. So if you want to request cash deposits then you should be prepared to pay your customers when they are done with your equipment. I don't know if you want seen the cost of fuel these days but every penny counts and that is not how you should treat your customers.
todd L.The staff here are ABOVE exceptional! They understood the blanket shortage and took care of us. We were greeted right away, even though they were really busy and while waiting to return our truck saw them cleaning a truck prior to another customer taking it. This location definitely needs to be recognized for their excellent professionalism and customer service!
Michael N.They didn't have the quantity of blankets I reserved way in advance. It took lots of complaining on my part just to get half of what I reserved. He said there is a national shortage of U-Haul blankets and he needed to keep the blankets I reserved for other customers. He had on the reservation two hand trucks and one furniture dolly which I didn't reserve. He said to just tell the drop off location that i didn't get them even though it was on the contract. I asked him to notate it on the contract which he was reluctant to do. I told him I didn't want to be charged for replacement equipment if it said I received them on the contract.

By the time I got the app to work I got a message that Uhaul was reviewing the rental. I have rented FIVE trucks from Uhaul over the past five months. Come on! Then when I was inspecting the truck I found a lock left on the roll up door. It took the guy at Uhaul over half and hour to cut the damn thing off. Pretty disappointed as this was the one time I was on a tight schedule.

So, despite getting to Uhaul early, the wait left me 30 minutes behind. The guy behind the register was a little bit*#, so yah, that was fun.

MIke M.I talked to a U-person the day before that I was promised an extra day on my return. He said it I got it back by 1:00 on May 7 I wouldn't be charged the extra day. They told me when I dropped it off there was nothing more I needed to do, but then I got home and received a receipt that I had been charged the extra day. So both in N. Hollywood and in I was told I had an extra day without charge but was charged anyway. Very disappointed.

My truck is equipped with a factory towing package that actually tells you when something is wrong. I had to drive 1800 miles with faulty lights and my dash lighting up every time I hit the brakes or turn signals...telling me that the trailer is disconnected! Extremely stressful and certainly not safe! Is this how you normally run your business? Overcharge for a one way trip and provide multiple stress levels? You owe me something back! Good news travels slow...bad news way faster.

Not worth paying higher monthly rent for the "Inconvenience" they provide. Other than my experience there, staff is friendly.

Additionally, they now have ZERO inside or outside units of that size. I was told I could pay $50 a month more for a 10x25 unit which I didn't need. But wait, the employee tells me that oops we already reserved that unit to someone else, and has to make a phone call to the woman that reserved it to see if she still wants it. By some random act of chance, she didn't, and I was able to get the 10x25 unit. Being that I am moving away in less than a week I don't have time to search for other available rental units in the area, so I'm stuck having to rent from the incompetent staff at Uhaul self storage of Bend. Stay FAR away from this facility. Either it's a bait and switch to get you to spend more money or the staff don't care to hold your unit for you after you already reserve it with a credit card online. Horrible customer experience. They didn't even offer to take any money off the storage unit after they made the mistake. We won't even mention that they have zero medium or large moving boxes and zero packing materials available in their store when I arrive.. Moving is stressful enough, this company only makes things much, much worse. Buyer beware.

You found a loop hole in the paperwork and chose not to insure our goods. I responded to your inquiry and you still took the liberty of throwing away uninsured items within 24 of your contact after waiting almost two weeks to contact me about the event. What your company did is criminal. I am not threatening action as I know you work for an entity who would rather waste money than do the right thing. So yeah… not very "content". I hope whoever, if anyone, is reading this has a wake up call and realizes they don't have to work for a place who treats people like this. They will screw your over just the same.

The help line said to go to the store and they can refund you if you hadn't used it yet. That worked out fine but I was still charged 9.95 for a lock that I never received? I'm not sure if the lock was already attached to the unit because I never went to unit itself. All I know is I have a charge for a lock that was never given to me. Now the other 4 people will not get the unit they reserved. This system makes no sense. Why would u-haul let you reserve a storage unit and then not have any available?? The system should show when units will be available and only allow you to reserve accordingly. The same goes for the trucks and trailers.

No contracts so it was easy to close our account once the storage was emptied out too. The only thing I would recommend is making the website a little more user friendly for online pay. This was the only bill I have had to call and pay over phone every month because the website wouldn't do what I needed and then I didn't trust it to take my payment and apply it correctly. I use apps, phones, electronic payments and all those things all the time so I am not technology illiterate. Other than that the service was a breeze and easy to deal with
