We had a little hiccup at the beginning where the online 24/7 service gave us the wrong type of a truck (a one way truck not a two way, around town truck) so we had to come back and swap. But after that, the experience was flawless. We called to extend our service not once, but twice, and both times customer service was amazing. Drop off was super easy. My truck wasn't ready at my reserved time, the time that I had received confirmation emails that it was all a go a week prior. We then had to pick up our truck five hours later than our reservation time throwing our entire moving day off. How are people supposed to plan a move if the truck they reserved isn't going to be available and your notified the same day within two hours your going to pick up the truck? U-Haul's website allowed me to reserve the largest storage unit when booking, but I was told there were none available when I checked in, due to the website not screening out unavailable units. No service at all. Just asked me to swipe my card. I returned my rental with exactly the amount of gas that was in it when I got it and they still charged me for an extra three gallons. Based on the other reviews I read this is common practice at this location.David V.
Person working outside who checked my UHaul truck rental back in wasn't wearing a mask. We were outside so I was ok with it, so I didn't complain. But would have liked to see him masked up as myself and others returning equipment all had masks on.Molly B.

I signed up for quick rental but I had to fill out the same information 2 times. My impression was that I would go there and grab key and go but when I arrived long line it took over an hour to get through. Very disorganized. I saw 2 people go up with a green circle on their phone and shoe the attendant get there key and go. Assuming I must have done something wrong when we got to attendant I asked about how to use that and he said he had no idea- he only knows to give them the key. Hmm doesn't he represent UHaul?! Reorganize. Include equipment that was contracted. Offer roadside assistance in a timely manner- not 5-1/2 hrs after trailer tire blow out. Maintain tires on trailers. Bill correctly. Offer compensation for poor service and equipment and waste of time and security while stranded.gregory C.

Unit 038 needs to be sealed up. The reason I moved out is because dirt comes in under the door. It's not sealed up. Not just a little dirt. The floor is covered. All of my stuff is completely covered in dirt.. this unit is the worst that I have ever rented anywhere.James K. | Overall Experience

Maybe. They are impossible to reach by phone and calling the central number is a joke. Unfortunately they are the only location locally that ever has any stock. If you can get ahold of Calvin at this location you are in luck but otherwise forget it. Your online system is also a joke. I have tried to login repeatedly and can't. The staff was very friendly and determined to help me. Unfortunately the Uhaul software for processing my rental was terrible and required multiple attempts to complete the transaction that took over 30 minutes. Very unacceptable.Rusty S. | First Impressions
First of all you can make sure that the contact information is correct before the customer leaves. Mine was not and they tried to contact me for a week about my rental and couldn't so they finally emailed me which he surprisingly got right, and the truck I needed couldn't get picked up till 4pm the day I had to leave.... all the way to Portland. So I had to get a new size van which was almost a disaster because it was so hard to fit all my stuff into a van that was 5 feet smaller than what I needed. Also not being aware of the fact that the truck had to be returned by 1pm and not end of day was not told me to me and was charged for an extra day after they tried to give me an extra day for free. Your UHAUL location has crap service and I hope I never have to use your company againKaileen W.

I returned my U-Haul after hours. I could not complete the process on either of my two phones. It would not allow me to submit the location. The next day an employee called me and said I still owed money, including for not returning it with enough fuel. I had absolutely put the tank right back to where I was required. While we were speaking his co-worker or boss was telling him something to this effect: "He better just pay it. It's less of a hassle. If he doesn't the corporate office will send him to collections." I explained I didn't feel comfortable paying the fuel penalty or a penalty for not checking my U-Haul in correctly after hours. I had made every attempt to follow the directions on my two phones. They were having trouble running my card. I'm curious as to whether I will see these additional charges.Troy F.
I was told that I could bring the trailer back at 5PM the following day, which essentially allowed me to park the rig in front of my house without rushing to get it back. However, on the paperwork, the attendant put 5PM the same day, meaning I had five hours to drive 220 miles, load and unload the trailer. When I returned it, they billed me for two days of rent plus insurance. Supposedly, they are going to correct it, but it has not shown up on my statement yet and I have no email verification (only spoken words) of their promise. I have rented from this location and will continue to do so. They have a wide selection and are well located.KENNETH VALEO S.

I almost was not able to get the size storage unit I reserved a month ago. There were 5 different people on the list for the same size (5x10) and there was only one unit available. I just so happened to be the first to check in. Now the other 4 people will not get the unit they reserved. This system makes no sense. Why would u-haul let you reserve a storage unit and then not have any available?? The system should show when units will be available and only allow you to reserve accordingly. This was in part due several of the transactions walk-in transactions with little prep, research, or pre-registration done. Was easy to get storage the same day. Was the only place that was open and easy to deal with on a Sunday. No contracts so it was easy to close our account once the storage was emptied out too. The only thing I would recommend is making the website a little more user friendly for online pay. This was the only bill I have had to call and pay over phone every month because the website wouldn't do what I needed and then I didn't trust it to take my payment and apply it correctly. I use apps, phones, electronic payments and all those things all the time so I am not technology illiterate.
