I returned the van a day late. There was about $35 in overages. I offered to pay but the Uhaul employee told me that it would be taken out within 5-7 days. He said if I don't have the funds at that time then I would be charged a late fee. The funds were there but $65 was still taken out of my account. It's borderline scandalous to recoup late fees in this manner. I truly feel like I've been scammed and I'm going to complain to the fullest extent. I will NEVER use Uhaul againâ€¦JAMEL G.

I rented a cargo van and the way it was parked at pick up made it difficult to pull out of the parking space. This location is on a busy street and I had to back out into traffic. Being to drive out of the space forward would have been much better.DAVID B.
The one person working was very nice and helpful. Due to there only being one though there was a line he was clearly working through as quickly as possible. One of the packets of blankets we rented was wet so we couldn't use it. Also the â€œequipment dollyâ€ is not the same as in the image. The one we received had a crank that kept getting caught on stairs when we moved furniture. That said the truck was great, the person to person service was great, and overall was a positive.BJORN K.

I get when things are busy, but the service from one lady was short and rude. I didn't like being ushered out and being told repeatedly that my receipt would be emailed in minutes. I wanted the vehicle to be checked in and inspected in case any 'issues/damages' were going to be charged. I wanted to be onsite to address them, if necessary. I do not like leaving things unfinished - just my personality. I don't think that is unreasonable. The bright spot was Jordan. He was extremely helpful, polite, and understanding throughout the check out and check in process. I'd rent from this location again solely because of how good he was to work with.KEITH M.

There is no parking for the customers. We had no idea where to park until we went into the store and found out what to do, that is, park in the cul-de-sac behind the store and accessible on another street. Very under staffed, manager/guy running front had a shitty attitude. Took for ever to check in. ON top of that at least 10 to 15 homeless people were getting high just hanging out by and on the trucks on the Wedgwood side of the building and some of the uhaul staff were seen over there with them smoking and hanging out.Ashley C.

NO FURNITURE PADS CAME IN THE BOX! so all of my stuff is taking a huge risk being shipped from nashville to denver without them. probably will never use ubox again. the first movers they assigned me to quit their business. luckily I called 1 week before my move date or I would have had zero movers.Canaan S.
Did not let me know in advance that they did not have the equipment I requested. I requested an appliance Dolly, and was not given advanced warning they had none in stock, which really messed up my moving. Arrived at 9 to pick up the truck I reserved for 9. Did not leave until 9:45 and was still expected to bring the truck back at 3. I booked it for 6 hours, it's not my fault the employees took so long to get me the truck. Was then told to go to Home Depot to rent a dolly since they didn't have any when I had booked a truck and requested a dolly a week ago. They did not attach the light cable to the tow dolly when the hooked to truck. It was 6pm Saturday when i started to load my car and discovered it. I called location and it rolled to customer service. I drove there and at 6:25 pm no one was there. The door was locked. The times on the door and phone recording for this location said they were open until 7pm Saturday.Billy S.
Everything went smooth except the Returning the Truck. I arrived 30 minutes before closing at 6:30PM. The sign outside I pulled up to said wait in your vehicle, and someone would come out. No one did. I tried using my mobile phone to complete the return. It never would recognize my location, though I followed all instructions. I called for support twice, and was on hold about 20 minutes total. No one picked up. I put the keys in the drop off slot. At 6:52pm I walked around to front to check in the truck before the office closed at 7pm. It was already closed. Doors were locked, so I left and the next morning was able to complete return using my home computer about 5 miles from location. Again, I was impressed with the automation and ease of service, until the completion process. I hope I'm not charged the $20 completion fee, because I tried my best to complete myself.MICHAEL Y.

I would recommend the place out of convenience, not service or quality. The van was dirty. There were razor blades in the door compartments. The cover for one of the vents just fell off. This location seemed to be understaffed or otherwise struggling with efficiently serving customers. We lost at least 30 minutes to our reservation because of there being no employees manning the front shop for a while and then a lack of guidance to the correct vehicle. We then were pressed for time in returning our vehicle and called the customer service line to see if we could possibly extend our reservation. While we didn't expect this to necessarily be an option because of other customers' reservations, the tone we were met with on the phone was not very welcoming or kind. I've loved working with U-Haul in the past but was greatly deterred from this experience and do not know if I will be returning for my future moving needs.Kaylee T.

Truck tire had low tire pressure and less than 1/3 tank of gas. the store was not properly staffed first thing in the a.m. The young lady working by herself made inappropriate remarks about the GM to customers as we were standing in the store waiting for service. Her tone was harsh and not what you would expect for someone working with the public. She just needs better training.STANLEY S.
Location has lots of equipment in inventory. The truck I rented was fine- clean, did the job. The staff at the location could have better customer skills. When I returned the truck, there was no one in the shop, but I was told just leave the keys and Uhaul will check the returned truck and send you the final receipt ( after you leave) and to expect an emailed receipt in an hour or two. It is now 8 hrs later and I have no email. I had to search through the website to find my encounter to get what I should have gotten at the time of rental return. I am really steamed that the clerk, not involved with any other activities could not get off her duff to offer me a completion to my rental.JOHN W.

The representatives at this location were not very helpful, granted they were extremely busy. I would not have minded that I was just told to hand over my keys and could go, when someone finally acknowledged me. However, after the fact I was erroneously charged an additional $120. I was not able to get in contact with the store to figure out why this was and there was no receipt given to me for this extra charge. I had to wait on hold for 25 min to get in contact with someone on the customer service line. I will say, the representative I finally spoke with was extremely friendly, helpful, and efficient. It would have been nice had I only been charged for the hours I used the truck since I returned it several hours early.
