To hace a U-Haul location so close for the larger than my car moves is great. The trucks are clean and the customer services is friendly and informative.

My truck was supposed to be ready at 8am. I was in the parking lot when my reservation said I had to wait for it to open. Turns out they never put the key into the lockbox the night before. I had movers already on their way as there was no prior knowledge. I waited in the parking lot for an hour when the person opening sped into the parking lot at 9:00am.

Equipment that was reserved in advance was not available when I arrived for pickup. I was told it goes by first come first served. Then what is the point of a reservations secured by a credit card. Very disappointed customer!

The young man at the front counter was excellent, fast, and very personable. It was a very positive experience overall. The only issue was that the truck smelled as if someone had been smoking in it, and it was visibly dirty. But hey, I was just hauling a bunch of dirt anyway, so it wasn't a big deal.

When someone reserves a utility dolly and a car tow trailer, I would expect them to be there when I arrive for my reservation. When I arrived, neither were there and I was basically blown off by the staff, No assistance whatsoever. No offer to assist in locating one at another facility which led me to have to drive around to other U-Haul's trying to source what I needed, to no avail. Terrible customer service, terrible attitudes and overall terrible experience. This was a waste of time for me and will never use U-Haul again. Extremely unreliable company.

The equipment was clean but it was not operating correctly. I rented a car tow dolly and the tires would not straighten out making it difficult to load my vehicle. The tow dolly needs to be looked at.

Over the years, I had mixed feelings about the services provided. The guys that were working today, 3/12 were friendly and professional. They had me checked in and the truck ready to go within 10 minutes. It was pouring rain when I got back and they still were very pleasant and oourteous.

I thought this location was in Dedham, it's actually in West Roxbury. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and rent from the Norwood location instead, it will save twelve dollars in Boston taxes. Otherwise, the staff is great and the equipment is good enough.

I've rented from this location multiple times. The fellow working the counter this time was excellent. Professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. When I rented here a few years ago the fellow was miserable to deal with. The experience was very much improved.

Everything was great, but they calculate me wrong My reservation was Feb 28 at 10 Am and return Mar 1 at 10 am 24 hours rental. But I was came to picked up around 9:30 am and returned around 9:30 on another day. It should be charge me 1 day, but they charge me 2 day

Trucks were covered with snow, so I had to clear snow from truck including roof. I then borrowed a shovel to clear snow from tires before I could pull truck out and safely exit facility. I spent about 45 minutes of my time clearing a vehicle that should have been awaiting pick-up.

There was still some trash from previous renters in the van. The person at the front desk was very attentive, helpful, and did not try to over sell the insurance when we didn't want it. When return the van, it was quick, easy, and the attendant gave us great information on the next steps.

I rented a 9 ft van. It was quite dirty both inside of the cab and in the cargo area. I had specified that I would need a clean vehicle as we were moving artwork. The person answering the phone the morning of the pickup simply said “it's fine” and just hung up on me. Ok. Most importantly, the van's rear right turn signal light was out. After driving to the pickup location for the artwork, I called to report this fact before driving the rented van any further. This is a safety issue. I was told just to go ahead and use it: don't bring it back for another van!!! I was not even given the option of returning the van for another with functioning turn signals! That is unacceptable and could cause an accident. It's unprofessional and unsafe to rent faulty equipment to the public. This van should have been inspected before being made available for a rental. I'll add that there were several other vehicles (9 ft vans) that were on the location. Faulty vehicles with non functioning safety lights are a hazard. It is the responsibility of UHaul to ensure that they are providing vehicles that are safe.

These guys are totally customer service oriented. When I asked if they wanted me to put the trailer in a particular location they said, “they did not want to have me have to go to the trouble of backing up”, so they just unhitched it and pushed it. That is customer CARE!! Fantastic service and helpful. And very intelligent guys.
