Paid cash to avoid card being charged. Told money would be returned by Thursday. Later told Friday at earliest. Most likely Wednesday of next week. Hmmm you charged me immediately but need a week to return?

Steve I.We requested a cargo van at your Orange, Ca location. We arrived at our scheduled time and they informed us that they didn't have our reservation and we would need to travel 10 miles to pick it up from another location. We were never informed that the location was changed and had specifically chosen that location for the proximity to our move. We also reserved two dollies which they did not have and said the only dollies available were 25 miles away at yet another location and we would need to pick them up and deliver them back to that location! We went without the dollies. A bad experience all around. I'd think twice before using Uhaul again.

Mike M.UHaul in general is woefully understaffed. Unable to communicate with anyone. Still no reply to questions of invalid billing. Currently contacting Credit Card Company to ask to have all charges declined as fraud due to invalid and not authorized amounts charged.

Judy B.Poor customer service. Truck was dirty. I rented an appliance dolly and they forgot to put it In the truck. I called the location when I noticed it and the representative did not even apologize for their failure. Upon dropping the truck off, I stood in line for approximately 10-15 minutes with no acknowledgement. There was a gentleman in front of me who kept shaking his head and another behind me who walked out. I rented at another location within a two week period and the other location was far better with their customer service and will be my first choice for my uhaul needs.

Trent H.First the 2 front tires were bald and had to be replaced, then he checked other tires and found back inner tire was flat, had to be changed. Delayed our move by 1 day. Then truck lost the muffler in Arizona, delay 3 hours. Finally make it to Iowa, unload and then the engine blew up in Colorado on the way back.

Thomas N.I turned in my vehicle on time and when I met with the associate at the vehicle return lane, I opted for an email receipt. After leaving the premise, I was alerted by a credit company that a charge of $64.47 was placed on my account. This was alarming as I already paid $64.09 this morning when I checked out the vehicle and was not expecting to pay $128.56 to rent 17' truck for 7 hours. Shortly after, I received my U-Haul receipt which indicated I was charged for 2 Rental Periods even though my Rental Date/Time was 5/20/22 at 10:17 am PST and my return Date/Time was 5/20/22 5:22pm PST. I turned around and when I brought this duplicate charge to the associate, he stated a manager needed to review the erroneous charge. After waiting for 20 minutes for the supervisor, they finally refunded the second charge. I was very dissatisfied with the overall experience and left a bad taste in my mouth with their handling of the duplicate charge. I don't quite understand how their system could charge a customer for 2-day rental when the Rental Date/Time clearly shows the chargeable rental period was for 1 day.

I watched the video on line on how to load the vehicle and that was also very helpful! The only suggestion I would have is that one of the straps on the trailer was pretty frayed and appeared to be in need of replacement.

alejandro M.I drove in with the trailer I rented before regular hours. The guy working on cleaning and taking care of the trucks said nothing when I pulled in and waited. I thought he would offer info on where I should park the trailer and maybe help me disconnect it. I'm surprised that the trailer doesn't have a tongue jack so it has to be handled manually. If a customer is not strong enough or injured how do they manage it?

However today, I was very disappointed, I told the guy that I do not want cover, but they charged me anyway since I signed the contract, I told him that if you look in my recent rents I never request a coverage, I liked to work with you guys but since he didn't care about what happened and did not put himself into my position, I felt really bad about it. It's only $15 extra, I honestly don't care about the money, but the attitude that he did that what really made me not work with uHaul anymore. I will now look into different options where I could rent trucks. I wished this didn't happen but It did eventually.

Larry L.I don't care for this location but is the only one nearby. Equipment is very dirty. Vehicle I rented today smelled like cigarettes and was filthy inside and outside. There were plenty of similar models available. I usually clean up the vehicle, but didn't bother today. Last time I visited they didn't have the truck I reserved…. Service is slow, had to wait awhile to drop off. They used to make it difficult to rent by calling a second contact, not ideal when friends and family are working. All in all, not the best location. I used to go to La Habra and they were friendlier, prompter, and cleaner.
