Brad ANot this location, but I first went 4 miles from home, Palm Harbor, FL. Thought I was picking up the trailer in their yard; as indicated by Penny(?). Next day, got a call to pick up in Clearwater, Fl. No big deal; 11 miles instead of 4 miles from me. Then, next I was notified I would be picking it up in St. Petersburg, FL - 26 miles from my house. Not a 'deal breaker', but really, 26 miles! The guys at the St. Pete location could not have been any more polite, as well as patient and helpful. As I mentioned earlier: not a 'deal breaker - you had it, I needed it, and that's it. This experience will in no way deter me from renting from U-Haul in the future. Trailer pulled like a 'dream'. THANKS

JOE MI've been going to this location for nearly 30 years. The first van had an oil leak and leaked oil all.over my carport floor. Since I live in a mobile home, I got written up for it. When I brought that one back, I got a different one and that had a tire pressure gauge message that showed the entire time I had it That just stressed me out, every time I drove it!! I suffer from mental illness, diabetes, and high blood pressure. Ya'll just lucky I didn't have a heart attack because my daughter would be a very rich woman right about now!!

David DI’m sick of arriving only to be told the hand truck or some other piece of equipment I reserved is not available. We plan out whole move around having access to that equipment and to be told day-of that it’s not available is unacceptable. I will be looking elsewhere in the future for rentals.

David MInitial experience good.although my fault for not double-checking their paperwork but they told me one thing and inputted different.i spent $17 for gas for 18 miles .what they told me was not indicative of what they wrote down.employee talked down to me saying you need to read in a sarcastic manner.did not appreciate that.will not recommend moving forward
Steve PThe truck was filthy! Windows, exterior. EMPTY windshield wiper tank, which we didn't realize until we needed it, and wer already on the road. The gas tank wasnt full! Adding a driver was difficult and stressful. Shannon was very nice but not very knowledgeable. Drop off location charged me for a full tank of gas, and an extra day! I actually dropped it off a day early! So I had to make a few more calls. This was a stressful 1200 mile move, with everything we own, including our entire family. There were enough red flags for me to not use UHaul on the future.
janis dStore staff was terrific. I had an issue with the truck door getting stuck up, and when I visited the store for help, three guys came out and solved the problem. Great experience and I'll gladly recommended this location.

I unfortunately forgot my SunPass transponder in the truck which ended up getting rented out after my drop off, and Dorian was so kind to give me a call the following day when the truck was returned to let me know he had my SunPass. Thank you so much for your honesty and keeping your word Dorian! It is hard to find loyal people like you!
STEPHENIE PThe windows were very dirty on the inside. Additionally when I returned the truck the attendants yelled at me to turn the truck around which would have required me to pull back out into traffic. When I refused they said they will bill me "everything we can" to punish me. I felt threatened and very uncomfortable. I rent 10+ times per year in association with my charity work and am very familiar with Uhaul facilities and this location is very sub-par.

Jonathan YI have trouble walking and standing. I walk with a cane. The gentlemen staff at the locaiton I rented from were so kind a courteous to me. There were several people waiting and I was provided a chair to sit in while I waited and the kind lady that wrote up my order allowed me to continue to sit while she filled out the information on the computer. They were all so kind an caring. Opening doors for me and making the truck rental process the best experience. Thank you all so much for your kindness and professionalism.
Leslie WFreon in 10ft Truck might need a refill? Air was not super cold. Otherwise, an awesome experience! Wished we’d rented the next larger as this truck had no Ramp. I should have noticed prior to renting, but that & A/C are the only things we wished had been different. Staff & location were excellent.

John KI had a great experience here! I first collected the van and was helped by the fabulous Shannon! She was so friendly and king and efficient. Everything went so smoothly. Upon returning the van, I was helped by a lovely young man, and the whole thing was quick and easy. Highly recommend!
Erika LI returned the truck with more gas in the tank than there was when I received it, yet was still charged a $25 gas fee. I had taken a picture of the gas gauge when I first got in the truck. The reading was between a quarter and half a tank, but closer to the quarter-tank line. When I returned the truck, the gas level was between a quarter and half a tank but closer to the half-tank line. It was obvious that there was more gas on return than upon receipt. I had the truck reserved until 8:30 PM and returned it just before 8 PM. But, since it was Saturday, they had closed at 7, so dropped the key in the dropbox, as instructed to do if it was returned after 7 PM. When I received my email receipt, I called the location to ask about the charge, I was told that I’d have to file a dispute with U-HAUL corporate office. I don’t have the time or inclination to jump through a bunch of hoops over $25, I just won’t ever use your company again, as I feel I have been scammed. I will also be sure to warn others about this fuel scam.

Chaelah MThere was confusion about a deposit. I was told that I would be charged $100 deposit that I would get back upon returning the trailer. I paid with a credit card. When I returned the trailer and asked about the hundred dollar refund, I was told I wasn’t charged it because I used to credit card. The amount quoted at the beginning was not the same as what I was charged al I believe I was charged the correct amount. I was confused, but not overcharged I think.
siobhan aNo one told me about the gas. If you add gas more than it was, they won't give you the money back. $25 worth no money back.

Michael MHaul team did not disclose out of town use and drop off cost was not the same as intown with 200 miles quoted for use… went to uhaul next day and two reps basically said they had nothing to do with transaction and laughed to why I questioned rate of $29 per day as quoted and $179 as charged with only response was quote was in town not 1 way… they were no help and somewhat rude as to laughing my situation in question….don’t see me using these clown in future and anyone I know and help, this uhaul is not user friendly ….laugh it up boys, crow up and take responsibility and represent your co.

Alain CI had to wait a hour on my rental I had a ride share set up and the place and U-Haul didn’t set it up. I took a Lyft to get the truck so I had to stand outside until the placed open up. This is my second rental in two day and both was poor. I rent a bunch of trucks a year. But I maybe going to another rental place after U-Haul has let me down. 6157121816

Daniel HDropped off on Christmas eve in the afternoon. Store was still open. Trucks and trailers were everywhere. No one came out to help get unhooked.
Charlene WArrived and completed the check in by phone. The truck I was assigned was boxed in by other trucks and did not have the equipment I rented in the cargo area. I went inside to speak with the staff and they were unpleasant. I got my truck and was able to move, so overall it was a success, but I wish everything was ready when I checked in online.

After packing everything in and getting moving on the way to my new location i went over a train track and the mirror fell off because it wasn't attached correctly, i then had to drive 12 miles to my new location with no left mirror unable to see completely on that side. They also told me everything was fine after i dropped it off and let them know what happened and then proceeded to still charge me $350 for the mirror when it wasn't correctly attached in the first place. Terrible experience, do not recommend.
