The truck was dirty inside the cab. I hAd to clean the inside of the glass just to see out of it and although it only had 16,700 miles on it it looked like it had 167,000 miles on it. The driver's side window took several tries to roll down. I will say the young man who I returned the truck to was very nice, polite and professional. The woman inside the store was on a personal telephone call and wouldn't get off.

The A/C did not work. I was happy with everything else but this is the second time I have received a truck with trouble. The last time there was no oil in the engine and I had to put oil in it. I asked to have compensation but I have not received anything. I rent a truck here every month.

This was on my email after I made a reservation: A local U-Haul representative will call you by 6pm on Friday, October 9, 2020 to get agreement on and schedule available time, equipment and location. This never happened and I had to go to 3 different places for a confirmed reservation. Not good customer service.

Every person I spoke with was excellent. From the in person intake process, to the people who answered the store phone when I called with all my stressful questions to the traffic coordinator and the people I returned the truck to. Every one of them had great personalities and made my life so much less chaotic. I am so grateful. I hope they all get raises!

1. Put keys in correct box with correct code so mobile pickup can be used without having to walk in and wait in line anyway. 2. Change oil on trucks so i dont have to rush to snap a pic of mileage before the message in the dash changes to oil change required. 3. Clean trucks out properly, found screws and various small trash in back of truck.

It appears there was some kind of audit of inventory check going on, and the counter rep did not get any help from the numerous ( apparently corporate) UHaul personnel that was there. I found that odd for them to not attempt to offer help To the Customers in line . My experience as always with this location was excellent.

Constructive criticism. Although the truck overall was clean, and I could see streaking where the door handles and seats were wiped down, the inside of the windshield was dirty and hadn't been wiped down. Again, overall the truck clean, but I would suggest cleaning a bit more thoroughly.

The first trailer dolly that was hooked up had a torn tie down strap and I had to argue with the yard rep to give me a better Trailer dolly. Then I returned the equipment about 3 hours later and the same yard rep refused to give me a printed receipt because he was busy. Several days later I got a bill for 2 days rental and the guy tried telling me I returned it a day later. It took nearly 20 minutes for him to supposedly correct his mistake but I have not received a refund yet I will give it one more day then go to the location on Thursday to get my refund for the over charge and a final printed receipt This is bullshit

The worst experience I've had with U-Haul! I had a service done (hitch installed and purchased the parts with them, which was ALL a disaster)!! Then I rent a trailer and they messed up my drop off location!!! Had to drive an extra hour just to drop off trailer!! Terrible company with terrible personnel with low class management!!

Uhaul helped me choose the movers, they gave detailed explanation without me having to speak with someone as to what kind of truck I would need based on what I had. Uhaul helped me reschedule my pickup time very efficiently. The movers Bryan his brother and his friend worked in the clock tirelessly and effectively. They asked questions throughout the way to ensure they didn't grab the wrong items as I am going thru a break up and not all items needed to be moved. They were very respectful and very courteous of my troubled time. I loved them and I will hire only them in a heart beat

The person who took my reservation put the wrong email address in their records and I was unable to pick up scheduled vehicle> being this was time sensitive and only this time to complete my move, their mistake cost me 3 hours of my time and my son who took time out of his day off to help his mother> i was then treated with contempt when i made a complaint > come on this isn't rocket science> its basic elementary spelling!! Will not use u-haul again!!

The only issue with the U-Haul truck was that the sliding door in back of the truck was very sticky and difficult to open because they had painted the bumper black and the rubber weather stripping stuck to the paint. Otherwise the truck was in great shape.

The experience was questionable, I rent often and this visit was unique. When we called to see if the trailer was available before we arrived we were rushed off the phone and hung up on.When we arrived the sales associates was not friendly and was complaining and condensing in tone seemed more worried about not getting her stimulus check then assisting us( we had to listen to this as she processed the order) . We were givin a cargo trailer instead of the open one we asked for.When the mistake was brought to the associates attention she sighed deeply and acted rudely stomping off towards the office mumbling something under her breath. Not a good rental experience oh and lastly the trailer door would not open it was jammed and took a crow bar to open. Obviously wasn't maintained. Not a good experience

My last visit was quite the contrast to my previous experience. I logged in on line and provided my license and credit card info. However when I arrived I found several people waiting in line for someone to open the doors. 2 People showed up shortly after, one on the register, one moving returns around in the yard to make room for new customers. I waited in line for almost 1 hour. Apparently the computer kept going down making the short staff's job even harder. Finally the attendant said, I have all your info but can't enter it because of the computer being down. He said, just take the trailer and we will enter everything when you return. Off I went. A few hours later after filling the trailer and getting ready to drop off my stuff, I realized I had a missed call. The voice message stated that I was in violation since I did not have a contract and if I didn't return the call immediately they would report the trailer stolen to the police. WHAT! I followed the instructions of your employee and I was threatened with police action? Really, is this how you run your business? I called and learned that they had indeed issued an alert. Needless to say I was not happy. I was able to provide my credit card details over the phone and they did retract the alert but this should not Have happened.

Better maintenance on the vehicle tires. A quarter of a way through our trip we experienced a potentially fatal tire blow out of the inside dulley tire at 70mph, the posted speed limit, and luckily it didnt blow the outside tire as well. After the tire was taken off and replaced it was noticed that the inside tread was completely worn and there was an 8in gash on the tire wall where it blew out. If the tire was properly maintained this would have never happened.

nothing won't go back, bate and switch advertising said a price, I booked online picked it up and was lied to about the price. Found out when I returned the van ended up being a lot more, when I questioned the owner came and calculated it 2 different ways both added up to the same amount. He basically said choose.

Some of the associates are friendly enough but most of them act like they would rather be anywhere else but there. From someone who works in customer service, they lacked the key to being good with customers.

The employees here are really disrespectful, arrived on time for my reservation and was told was not open yet and to come back at 9 (5 minutes from when I arrived) did not actually assess the van b4 i left, van had check engine light on and low tire pressure the moment I drive off with it, and it was dirty in the front of van. Upon return did not actually look for any damage or anything and just told me once I got my stuff out of van was good to go. Need employees who actually know what customer service is.

I was charged for a car carrier for an entire week because the reps did not check it in. It was charged to my credit card rather than calling me and asking me why the car carrier was not returned with the truck. This is the last time I use Uhaul.

The first location could not honor my appointment I made in advance. They had the cargo van but not the keys and did not offer the 50.00 guarantee. The second location had the cargo van but charged a mandatory collision contract regardless if I did not want to purchase it. This was my worst uhaul experience ever. I was late for my scheduled appointment because of the mishandling of my reservation.

They had to redo my contract the morning of because they didn't have one of the items I reserved. Then when I returned the truck the person checking items back in didn't have an updated contract and still showed I owed them the item I never received in the first place. Get on the same page!

Drop off was changed Back to initial choice we selected at time of reservation by traffic on the day the truck was picked up because the drop off was somewhere too far we didn't select. Then upon returning to our chosen location we were told it was not the right place. I had to call back traffic and ask why the changes hadn't been made as previously advised. She called the location and got it straightened out. Then the starting mileages was showing up incorrect despite having the correct one on our paper and having a photo we took at pickup. I don't want to dock the location when it seems like the app was messing up and the site was down but this was an awful experience after two long days of moving and unloading. We specifically chose in person because two weeks out the mobile options did not work at pickup or drop off. Seems like uhaul has issues either way. We also had a leak in the cab that completely soaked the driver. I called to report and all they wanted to do was send roadside which we did not have time for when meeting our deadline and also would not work unloading family heirlooms in a storm and reloading into a new truck. I was told a note was made and someone would follow up about making this right but that was several days ago. We won't be using uhaul in the future.
