when taking the truck, the dash was reporting a problem with tires (major avoidable source of road accidents in Florida) and a clogged air filter. as for welcome, as soon as I parked my car on tje designated parking spaces, an employee chiiling out in a car told me to move out, that this area was reserved fir employees.

The person who rent me the car make me pay an extra $20 to have the car. A $20 which is not reflected on the receipt. I don't appreciate that. And I wanr my extra $20 back.

The clerk at the counter was rude and unaccommodating. She would not make eye contact and no good morning after we greeted her . After a while she went into a back room and came out with food and drink. Without saying a word waved her hand for us to approach the counter. After trying to make out what she was saying with her mouth full I asked her to speak a little loader because I was having trouble hearing her. She them went into a rant saying I could hear her because I was answering her. She them refused to wait on me. Them she said she would bring out the manager who turned out to be the person who was cleaning the trucks (Rosana} she was great, she took care of us in a professional matter... I have been a U-HUAL customer for many years and rent trucks several time a year and I have not been treated so rudely by an attendant. The clerks name is Bre. That's what she told me after I asked for her name, her tag was turned backward. I would not keep her waiting on customers until she is trained or retrained on customer service. Eating food or drinks will waiting on customers is a no no and saying hello to some one who address you in this manner is customer service 101 - basic training. I hope you reward Rosana as she defused what could have been a very bad situation.

There was a male employee that took from me $20 on the side in order to have a truck because he said I didn't have reservations and was the only way I could get the truck otherwise he gonna give it to someone else who is ready to accept the deal. He was wearing a black pants and a black shirt. It looks the oldest employee that was on duty and he wasn't the cashier. I accepted the offer since I had an emergency. So U-Haul needs to clean the company by removing those types of employees that destroying the prestigious enterprise reputation.. for less than 2 miles trip I paid over $80 because of corrupt employee. I hope you will investigate this case take the correct action to save the company notoriety.

Your rep got to me 20 minutes before closing time. His computer told him that there was none of the equipment available that I wanted. He suggested I call the 1-800 number to see if any other location had the equipment. Turned out there were 6 of them at that same location.

I got robbed. The manager has not returned my money for damaging my car during the hitch installation. Mr. Dorcius said to take my car to get fixed at the dealership and that he would pay for the bill. I have yet to wait for that. He´s been ignoring me by email and doesn´t even have the courage to talk to me on phone. I have that for proof as well. I need a response.

On my inspection, I discovered multiple scratches which were not reported to me prior. To me if I didn't inspect the van , all these scratches would have been on me. I don't think it is fair to do business with customers.

When I returned the truck, I had only driven 10 miles, as per the odometer. The gas gauge hadn't moved. Yet I was charged $30.00 for gas. Then I was told the back of the truck was not clean, even though one of my helpers had been back there cleaning with a mop since it had been raining. The U-Haul employee then stated that he would overlook the truck cleaning if I bought him lunch. I told him to do his job, and he charged me $40.00. I know you would probably believe your employee over a customer in most cases. I am retired from the USCG after 20+ years, and I would not say what I have said for $80.00. But I would undergo a lie detector test if your employee would undergo one at the same time, and I would pay for the test. What your employee did was just wrong, and I am probably not the first one this has been done to, and I probably will not be the last.

There was one nice gentlemen that went above and beyond to help me. The young lady and the other gentlemen was of no good assistance at all. The young lady even added insurance to my reservation without my permission. I was also charged an extra day for extending the rental for 30 minutes!! I was charged $92 for a rental truck I literally had for 2 hours and drove 9 miles!! This is absurd.

We use this location exclusively for trucks when we need them. The ordering process is easy, trucks are always ready. This one was missing the dolly, but we didn't need it.

The first uhaul tire had a slow leak, so they switched the truck which had cat hair all over the passenger seat. They didn't have a vacuum to get all the hair off and the agent suggested to put a towel over the seat.
