I had lots of problems using the U-Haul app when I was returning the trailer. It required me to take some pictures of the trailer. I would press the button to add photos and take pictures using the app. The pictures, however, would not make it into the app and I wouldn't be able to continue to the next step. Returning the truck after hours was confusing and poorly explained. Even after rushing back to the store and doing our best to do self-check in at 10:50pm (truck was due at 11pm and we had it back by 10) after realizing the phone had to be at the exact location of the truck to complete the form, they still charged me the $20 convenience fee. When I called to get help and resolve the issue the next day after receiving my invoice, I was tossed around from representative to representative none of whom were "qualified" to help me. I was told the manager would call me back within 24 hours which he did not do. Am I happy with the Uhaul truck itself? Completely. Am I happy with the customer service? Not even. The employees at this location are stellar. When I pulled up they were cleaning equipment, and although it was close to closing they dropped everything and helped me get out of there quickly. They had quite the rush of people show up at 5 minutes before closing, but greeted each of them kindly and told them what order they would be in and they would be right with them. When we went to pick up our rental truck (within the hour time slot) while I was checking in through the app in the parking lot, my reservation was cancelled. They stated that I needed to have been there within a half hour of the reservation in order to have the truck, not the hour that I was informed of when I rented the truck. The staff was very rude about it and I didn't appreciate it considering I was there within the listed time frame. The manager tried to make it seem like he was doing me a favor by giving me a truck that was half the size and taking $50 off the cost, but it was a huge inconvenience for me and it ended up taking us almost 2 days to move what we could have moved in under 1 day with the size of truck I originally rented. I won't be renting from this location ever again because I would never support a business that treats their customers like that. I will probably steer clear of Uhaul all together and rent from another truck rental agency if possible to avoid this in the future.Bethany A.

The service was great, and I would recommend u-haul. But I like the bigger locations easier to get in and out. This was on a main road and due to that I would not recommend location. But servi e was great.Cindy H.

The site is old and small. It is uncomfortable to go in store. I used it as an Avenue of last resort. Staff was great. The truck was new but reaked on the inside. It ran terribly, needs a tune upâ€¦.. when I pulled the boat on the highway it was scary. As long as I stayed under 60 it was okay. Mostly the site is just to smallâ€¦. I had to crawl in the passenger side of truck to get in.Thomas A.
Charging rates of gas in town, I paid $10 for driving only 29 miles, and also paid 30 in mileage. Pretty ridiculous to charge both in my opinion.Meagan H.
The service representatives were nice enough. But, they are overwhelmingly busy. Don't answer phones. I was there when a customer came in for his appointment to install a hitch. But, they could not help him. He wasn't in the computer system and there was nobody there who could do it. Go elsewhere.CHRISTOPHER L.
The rental contract specified a 4 pm return time, which was automatically filled in online. I mentioned when I rented that I may be somewhat later than 4. I was told I had a 24 hour rental and not to worry but to call and let them know. I called at 4 and was sent to a central call center. The representative was rude and non-helpful and told me there would be an additional charge if I returned it later than 4. She did not let me know that I could have the location adjust the charges. I got it to the location at 4:45 and the check-in person told me I would not be charged extra, but I was charged for an extra day. I had to call and wait 37 minutes to resolve the problem. The people onsite were nice but did not adjust the rental fee appropriately. The second representative I talked with was very helpful and refunded the charge for the second day.David D.

I had made a reservation a few weeks in advance for pick up at marina cove storage in American Fork Utah, when I got there, my equipment was not there. The manager then called who had my equipment and they extended right then. 30 minutes after they were to have it returned, and the manager did not care one bit that the equipment I had reserved wasn't going to be there at the time it was promised. I asked what the next thing to do is, and she didn't know. I was left to find a trailer on my own and she didn't care at all that there wasn't any equipment or solution to my reservation. I then after calling around found the Murray Utah location. I am completely unimpressed by the customer service at the Marina Cove Storage location.MEGAN R.

The right tail light on the trailer it was out which was unnerving for me. I was afraid I was gonna get pulled over the entire time :-(JUSTIN B.
My first appointment was cancelled because there was no technician. Then I rescheduled the man gave me 3 different times I chose 7am. When I got there the man behind the desk said it was at 11. When I arrived the technician was running late (which I get things happen). After about an hour I went to wait. After 30 min someone came out (she didn't look like she was working at the time as she was not wearing a uniform) to tell me that they didn't have the wire and the manager had to get it from another store. (Wouldn't you check to make sure you had everything the day before?) If it wasn't for the lady no one would have told me! Then I asked about how long. The technician said 1.5 hours. By this time it was about 12:45. I took an Uber home. I finally got a call at 2:30 saying my car has been done for over an hour and no one called. Even the man who called me said "I noticed your car has been here, I guess no one called you." (What?) So then I had to take an Uber back to finally get my car, at which time it was 3:15. I was nearly late for work 2hicj is why I set the appointment for 7am. I am in the service industry so I am quite patient, however this was over the top. I have never had an issue with U-Haul before and I was very disappointed. With this debacle I am worried about my hitch installation and will now be taking it to my car dealer to make sure it was installed correctly.Karyn M.
Everything was fine until drop-off (trailer). I didn't realize I worked for U-Haul until it was time to disconnect the the trailer. Had to reverse it into a space, disconnect and drop the hitch foot - all whilst the U-Haul guy, in sorry, my 'workmate' stood by an watched. I reserved the van days earlier also a utility dolly which The uh facility did not have. The van they gave just came in wasn't checked waiting even longer I went to another store to rent the dolly.The rental cost was enormous compared to the previous rental contact.
