The guy that help me didn't look like he was happy . He either doesn't like his job or the heat was getting to him .

David P.Mountain View was great. Getting my UBox to the other side of the country was less great. Need more transparency about arrival time, and greater compensation for delays. My parents (who are on the older side) had to sleep on the floor for several nights because the mattress were in the delayed UBox. The compensation wouldn't have begun to cover a hotel.

It took me 30 minutes to check out, and another 30 to check back in. They asked me to park 4 times but nobody was there to receive the car and it was so backlogged I had to block a road.

Seonkyoo A.Folks acted indifferent to our question. Not sure there was even an effort to make eye contact. If gas tanks are not rented with full tanks then U-Haul should pay for extra gas upon return. It's pretty hard to drive around with a quarter tank. Gave uhaul $40 in gas. Good for you and really bad for customer sentiments. I have an icky feeling now towards this co but does anyone care? I doubt it.

I had reserved a trailer for two days early in the week and when I went there to pick it up I was told that they were only allowing trailers out for 24 hours. I never received an email letting me know of the change and was given a BS line from one of the staff members that he was told "only about 5 minutes ago" I asked to speak to a manager or owner and was told they weren't there and handed a business card with of course the 800 number. Customer service was a big zero. Great staff at Mountain View, not so at Redwood City. Guess which location I'll be going to next time?

James M.Internet availability at location was spotty so I was unable to use website to check in my vehicle for after hours return. I later did it at home, but of course could not submit videos.

Also sucked that got hit by large rocks on the free way, someone lost their load, and had to pay the out of pocket cost because the person at fault didn't stop to 1) help and 2) share insurance info 3) police officer didn't want to write a report as no one got plates of vehicle. I'll be calling to ask for my $150 back as don't think right

Susan H.If Saturday or Sunday make sure you book by previous day and reach the spot by 9.00 am to pick the vehicle. Otherwise the system would be down.

JOSE R.The inside front window appeared smudgy all over as if cleaned with a dirty rag. Minor I know, and just letting you know. Otherwise I was quite impressed with how comfortable the seats were. The van drove very smoothly across the miles.

Andy D.The truck was brand new and clean, but really needed an alignment. The side of the truck was banged in by a previous renter, as well as, the trailer. Both worked fine during the move, but did not inspire a ton of confidence. The workers at the location were very kind and helpful.

GLENN R.Get the dashboard indicator of a flat tire to stop complaining. The UHaul worker who processed the return believed that the problem was that the system for reporting flat tires was broken, not that the tires were actually flat. We did visually inspect them before driving the truck and they looked fine. We should have brought our own pressure gauge.
