Called the day before pickup to confirm pickup location, which was different from my online reservation. Person answering the phone very grumpy. Nobody at the store/counter when picking up, waited for ~7 min..There was no other customer waiting. Tracked down the owner ( as shown on his badge) on site, who told me to wait. Waited for ~ 10 min, he was just conversing with a presumably personal visitor, whom he hugged. Truck was OK but not exactly swept clean. Cab full of animal hair. I guess relying on previous renter to self report doesn't work.

The original location that was given for drop-off BY UHAUL, would not accept our truck. We were then FORCED to use another location. That 2nd location was under staffed and did not even properly check in the truck. We then received a LATE FEE EVEN THOUGH WE WERE ON TIME and EVEN THOUGH WE WERE FORCED BY UHAUL TO GO TO ANOTHER LOCATION THAT WE HAD TO FIND ON OUR OWN!

My review is of Uhaul as a whole, not just this location. This is a busy time of year to move in my area - I get that. To avoid difficulty, I called after making my reservation 5 months in advance and had the regional office change my reservation to a 24 hour reservation as this is what I required. This was changed to a 6 hour and I was not notified, severely disrupting my move. How about doing something to lock in rental time periods? Pay a down payment to lock in your rental time, confirming with reservations 1 month out. At the very least, notify them of any changes in their reservation. This is utterly unacceptable and made my move far worse than it had to be. I've used UHaul for my last few moves and I dont think I will be using them again.

I rented the truck for less than 2 hours and i got billed for 2 days. I called customer service and spoke to the manager to report this issue and I got refunded. I don’t recommend renting Uhaul In Malden.

Everything needs to be improve alot. YOU CAN NOT BE ONLY 1 PERSON WORK AT THE STORE AT THE WHOLE TIME. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR HIM FOR 30 MINUTES IN ORDER FOR HIM TO SHOW UP AT THE FRONT DESK. AND GET HELP. NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE, THIS WOULD BE MY FIRST TIME AND LAST TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had to drive a half an hour north out of Boston because all of Boston U-Hauls were full. I called U-Hau,l they directed me to this location. Although by the time we got there, a half hour in the rain, they were full but the man working there accepted our truck. He was overwhelmed with all the turn-ins that everyone was sending to him. But thankfully, he was super nice, professional and handled it well. Boston is not a driver friendly city especially driving a truck with all the low bridges.

Not allow customers to book a U-Haul at a location that will not be open. Don't advertise that customers can use the lock box to obtain a key, when they have to go into a location that is closed. Don't charge a "cleaning fee" when the truck was dirty prior, and pictures were uploaded via the SMS link. Many other issue. First and last time.

NA!!! Treynz Amos and his manager were incredibly helpful for me and my family during the busiest moving weekend of the year and went out of their way to get me a furniture and utility dolly to rent when no other Uhaul store in the area had one. Thanks guys!

My experience at Malden was great but before that location we went to this location: U-Haul Moving & Storage at Central Square, Main Street, Cambridge, MA. This was an awful experience the one woman on staff that day (not the manager) was screaming at us and insulting my family. We were told that the location was full which was fine so we asked her where to go and she yelled at my family to get out of the way while simultaneously blocking our way out. She also was not helpful when we tried to ask her questions about where to call for the new location and just made us all feel really uncomfortable. I would not recommend this location to any of my friends. Unfortunately I did not get the woman’s name but she was working on 9/1/19 around noon/1pm and she was the only African American woman at that site that I saw working with customers.

With the rush of Greater Boston move-in during the week of September 1st, this location and staff really provided as much of a helpful and stress-handling environment as possible. Glad I rented here.
