I showed up at 6:34pm and the door said it closes at 7pm. Also the website said 7pm. The employee's William Watkins & Jonathan (whose last name he did not provide) were rude and unprofessional. They attempted to turn the lights off and close the door before the time indicated that they were close. I demanded the general manager name & phone number. Then he began to threaten to call the police to respond for no apparent reason. I was told to drop the keys on the floor as they fall inside from the outside slot and leave. I obliged and decided I would stop doing business with this location after years of usage for truck rentals.DINEEN S.

Some items to purchase in the store were out of stock. Otherwise, the van rented was good and the customer service at the store good. The customer service on the phone at the central number could use more training in customer service and being more personable. She sounded and acted like a robot and not very helpful when asked a questioned. Rather off-putting.ANN D.

over charged 21 miles starting mileage via contract 1397 ending miles via contract 1468 was charged 92 miles only drove 71 with gas tank full to the brimsteven F.
The person who helped me was half awake and more interested in watching his phone than helping me out. He barely spoke to me and did not explain anything to me. When I asked a question he pointed to my contract and instructed me to read there. I was also never told about the mile being extra or that I needed to top o the truck for return. Luckily I did, if not it would have been extra. He acted like I was bothering for just picking up. In the contrary the lady who helped me when I brought the truck was amazing, super helpful and friendly.STEPHANIE W.

When I called to verify my reservation, the call center said I had no reservation, that the PC location had no trucks and I would need to rent an hour out of my way. Fortunately none of that was true. I decided to double check the morning of and they had my reservation and plenty of trucks. The call center experience was a nightmareDONALD B.

When dropping off the guy didn't want to help me un tie the front of tow bar as a senior woman sometimes it's hard to bend down Oh cement and get under neath the wheel . When I asked him he reply you have to do it) then he help on one side then I was backing car off he for got to un chain under wheel . He need to lear his job for safety/care a little more about older people. Was disappointed.. because U Haul has been around a long time and I trust agent are getting the right training.CHERYL T.

I didn't go to long beach to rent a truck. I went to lomita this was last week on Friday. I took the day off lost a day of pay. For nothing..I had reservations and every thing all lined up. But the guy at u haul store didn't know what to do on the computer so I couldn't rent it and he set my move back a week to today. I couldn't believe it I was very upset. The guys I hired to help lost out on earning money it was so wrong in every way. So here I am putting my faith in uhaul again hoping the Mobil u haul I will have better luck. its the worst move for me ever. But I still have my humor and laugh at and with myself. This has nothing to do with UHaul Longbeach, but the UHaul contactless app system could use some work. Self-checkin broke on my iPhone. The staff were very helpful in making the reservation work anyways.ANDREW M.
Will U-Haul ever consider getting those carpeted furniture dollies to replace the rubber ones? I don't know what it is but the carpeted furniture dollies seem to go over bumps better so all of my boxes/belongings don't fall off.STACY R.

Chad was very helpful. I showed him when leaving that the gas guage was only at 1/8 of a tank, not 1/4 as was specified on my rental contract. He told me to take a pic and, when returning it, I would receive a credit because the tanks are never to be released less than 1/4. After a mile or so of leaving, the "needs gas" warning came on.
