My issues are not necessarily with the location but the entire rental process. I chose contactless pickupâ€¦started out with the truck that I was assigned blocked in by another truck so I had to go inside anyway. I rented an appliance dolly, when I arrived, there were no appliance dollysâ€¦have you ever moved a refrigerator without one?????? Had to drive across town to Home Dept to get a dolly. Should have just rented a truck from them as well. Overall, the process wasn't very good and I wish there was some competition in this field, but since there is virtually none, nothing will change with UHaul.Gregory W.

We had a terrible experience with the website; the booking online was not helpful since we had to do all the paperwork when we arrived. This took us so much time. We also had to go to extra effort to bike to the store since there was no parking at the lot. The van I had rented was â€œgiven upâ€ because I came to pick it up outside of a two Hour window and â€œthe systemâ€ kicked out my reservation. I knew the way the lady was acting that I was going to have to be REALLY nice to get ANY truck, which was obviously needed or I wouldn't have reserved a 26' truck in the first instance. She was able to get me a 15' truck which made my entire weekend very much more complicated. I had no idea a credit card confirmed reservation would be cancelled without any notice. The guy checking my truck in was also really slow and I was really tired and the van was coming back earlier than reserved because I was so tired from dealing with the extra bull and smalller van.AMY W.
Think before reacting. I accidentally left lock on back of trailer. Called next morning to go back for it. They could've called me. Instead, they cut my lock off! They rented trailer out already by time I got back there. They had plenty of other trailer the same size to rent out. The employee who checked us out was a little weird and creepy, but never actually crossed any lines. Maybe just continue to monitor the one I believe was named Whitaker, bad vibes. This was a very good experience for me. I have rented the motorcycle trailer at this location a few times. Pick-up and return were both very quick. Take advantage of the online check-in before going to the store to pick-up your rental. It will save you time!Eric B.
Have a rep walk the truck with customers at pickup. As a novice truck renter, it was frustrating and confusing trying to figure out what damage on the truck to take pictures of or even how to on the app. I had to go inside asking questions twice to figure it out. Would be easier if someone was out there to help walk you through the process.Heather J.

Be more organized. Have your fuel tanks 100% full. Make sure that the mileage is what it actually is before the customer takes the rental truck out. Don't just depend on the customer to correct your mistakes with the walk around in the app. Check and double check.John C.

Make sure that there is nothing in the box -- the truck I rented had, at minimum, 30 blankets in the back, taking up precious space. I did not want any blankets yet there they were. I should have opened the back before I left the lot. Otherwise everything was perfect -- the truck was very clean and ran well. The staff was polite and pleasant.Paul C.

We've had good experiences with this location before, but this one was not. We appreciated the highlighting on the agreement, but the print is much too small to be useful when we needed that info. I thought we were to receive a $100 refund upon return of the truck, but this was not the case. My first call about why we weren't receiving it was so unclear, I had to call again. The representative made it sound like we weren't getting the refund because of having a combination of card & cash payments. On our 2nd call, we received clear info. and understood why we did not get the refund. It had never been paid in the first place. Such confusion should not be part of the interaction.Jeffrey W.

Guys checking in the truck during Lawrence, KS (Kasold) drop off were aloof to me as a customer. We're gathering data from the truck, talking to each other, almost ignoring me. Poor customer service. First words to me were, â€œleave the truck runningâ€. No hello or greeting. Took way too long to complete the drop off, especially since I was told I could drop off the truck and key without any â€œcheck in.â€ Grrr.... I recommend that if a text is sent within a few days of submitting the order for something, there be a phone call saying that the location has changed I received a text that said the location but not that it had changed so I thought it was just a confirmation message. I had reserved a dozen furniture pads but I didn't ask about them and they weren't in the trailer when I got to where I had to load the furniture. By then the Uhaul place was closed and it was too far to go back for the pads anyway. I called but the wait times were really long that evening.PAIGE D.

The location is WAY too small for all of the trucks and trailers. I was barely able to park the truck in the parking lot after hours. If the person who parked in front of me had not been there to move his return up farther I don't know what I would have done. A 26 foot truck left out on the street is not acceptable.
