I think the employees should explain the rental more clearly. Especially if the ustomer does it online. I don't understand how the contract can be extended but not changed. If a customer finds that they do not need the rental as long as they thought, they should be able to return the rental to the nearest location, regardless, even if the location is out of state, without trying to charge the customer over $1000.00 or more. Customer service is a joke, not helpful in any way.

I have used this location many times. However, this time was not a great experience. I was completely irritated at my entering into the facility by one of your over zealous employees. Instead of having a posted sign up stating to read please move to the other side of the ali to be assisted. You have to be addressed to do that. Loudly, that was annoying me and my spouse. To have to inform your customers that way. Secondly, after that I was not informed to not having to enter the store to drop the key and return info at the door. We took additional time finding out that we did not have to stand in line for returning the rental truck. I will not be returning to this location. thks

I did the e check in so I didn't have a paper contract. When I was at the gas station to fill up I could not find the gas amount I was supposed to return the truck with. I would think it would be front and center and not buried. I clicked on a link that talks about estimating the fuel and it just takes you to a video and does not provide info about your specific rental. Please make it easier to find so that it is worth it to do the self check in.

The pricing that you all has is incredibly dishonest. What's listed as a $30 rental ends up being almost doubling cost by the time all your fees are added up.

The on-duty manager was outstanding. I am a senior who has some tech skills but didn't appreciate or prefer the on the smartphone check out approach and the manager was helpful at every turn. He had a good sense of humor, was professional, patient, meticulous and never distracted by phone calls while helping. Well done.

The cab had a nice smell. The cargo area smelled like corpses were stored in it. Thankfully we were using it to just transport junk to the landfill. Had we been moving our home and our nice furniture we would have cancelled this rental. There's no reason why any vehicle should ever smell like this. Seems Uhaul does not care about how they maintain their vehicles.

As a customer that dies not have a high tech phone, I was very frustrated with the first counter person's lackluster efforts to walk me through all the steps using my phone. What is the point of coming to the counter for one on one assistance only to be told get your phone and register there. Too much automation for us.

Make sure the gear shifter in your trucks is working properly. I couldn't move the shifter in my original truck, so they had to give me another one. The second one was also difficult, but I was able to make it work. Staff should be more knowledgeable about the trucks; specifically about gear shifters and how tall the trucks are.

After going up hill in the U-haul for a while the engine light came on. There was no oil problem, or transmission problem. So we couldn't figure out what the problem was. Second time I have been given a faulty U-Haul vehicle.

The staff when I picked up and returned the vehicle were extremely rude. I was told I could not rent the cheaper size vehicle I preferred, though several of them were parked in the exact same space when I returned the more expensive one 1.5 hours later. I had never rented a vehicle of this size and no walk around was given and no explanation as to how the doors and anything else worked. When I returned the vehicle, nothing was explained about actual mileage used versus mileage charged for. When I asked, I was told "we'll work that out" and person walked away. I called after him several times and he kept walking. Overall, a horrible experience.

This is the second time I moved this year and both times, although I made my reservation well in advance, the trucked I reserved weren't available. I understand this happens sometimes, but this time I was running behind to pick up the truck and when I arrived and finally talked to someone I was informed my reservation was cancelled. Nobody made me aware of this before I spend 45 minutes waiting in line. The woman at the counter was patient and resolved the issue well. Communication overall during this experience was poor.

Customer service was non-existent here. The few employees that were involved with our rental that day were absolutely horrendous, unhelpful, and most certainly overcharged us but then refused to discuss the bill or be of any assistance. Hopefully some more competent people will be of help to future customers.

I paid for a furniture dolly with my order and when I was given the truck I was told they had no dollies available. I went to home depot to buy my own dolly. U can improve service for the next customer by having your website reflect the equipment u actually have available to rent.

I came in the day before Thanksgiving and a lady named Chin was there early in the morning. She was so helpful and nice, even though it was early morning & before Thanksgiving. I really appreciated it! Further, the location is easy to get to, and has lots of supplies available for purchase.
