When returning the truck their was 1 person to check in with and he was busy filling propane tanks (.approximately 15 to 20 ) and it was going to take at least 30 minutes. I was told to leave the key in the truck and they would Email the receipt to me.. That was all good- except now that I have the receipt I was charged $21.00 for gas. I had already filled the tank to 5/8 full just before returning it. I've got my receipt from the station just down the street from your facility. Please refund me the $21.00 that you charged me.Neil L.

IT WAS SUPPOSED TO PAY 300 AND I ENDED PAYING 500Cristian S.
Service desk employee did not seem to know how the insurance worked and gave different answers than the manager. No parking at the facility, even for picking up equipment. Rental required a smart phone that I do not own. Uhaul trailer was in poor condition with about one third of the bumper tie down rails missing or flopping against the wall. Two of the six floor tie down rings were missing. Uhaul trailer should have been repaired before being rented out again.John M.

Representative in the yard was on his phone or device and ignored me when I drove in. Despite honking my horn a couple of times and the fact that my trailer was blocking other return U-Haul vehicles from entering due to the backlog of vehicles from being cleared from the return lane; the representative's reaction was still somewhat non-chalant. After asking the representative about his initial response and that being on his phone during busy work hours was not professional, he casually responded that he dislikes it when customers assume that he is on his phone when in fact he is really reviewing U-Haul work orders on his device. Judging from other Google comments of this location, this must be the norm. Shame since it's the only larger location in my area. Good workers must be hard to find nowadays.James P.

Trailer was not weather tight. Roof leaked along its left side near rear. As it leaked when it was very light rain Sunday morning I'm glad it wasn't pouring as my items might have been damaged. The lady that checked the trailer back in CC was great every other person I interacted with was average. I did not bother to mention the leak .Wayne F.

I relied heavily upon your app - it is pretty decent. I even viewed the online video on the picking up the rental. However, after providing both my license and my passport, the video never stated anything about even more identification. I did all the pre-steps ahead of showing up only to have to go into the store because customer service was calling me to provide more ways to verify my identification. What is the point of the online video if you don't go through all the steps? The store manager has an attitude problem - I'm sure you've heard that before.Jason L.

This is the worst experience I've had. My reservation was for 7am on a Saturday, the gentleman who checked me in stressed that I needed to return the truck at the same time on Sunday when they were still closed as the store opens at 9. I went through the drop off procedures online but there was nowhere to park a 26 foot truck. All entrances to the building were blocked by other rental trucks, which meant that I had to literally jump the sidewalk and park there, so as to not park on the street. It was very inconvenient and a complete waste of my time.Daria W.

On 10/08/22 at 7:am I used the 10150 Washington bvd Laurel MD location. The young man whom I initially me checked was obnoxious, and passive aggressive. Felt like a burden not at returning customer. However returning on 10/10 was a waaayyy better experience thanks to Sylvester!!!Ricco C.

The truck I was given had a cracked side mirror and the cab jumped around when it reached a certain speed. I've rented two trucks previously and none of them jumped around like this one. The staff was all over the place. They couldn't find the key to the truck I reserved so I was almost forced to get a larger one, and when I went to return it, three different workers told me three different ways to return the key since I didn't want to stick around. The sole worker sitting at the counter was just counting coinage and ignoring the line of people waiting.Joy N.

Sunoco station 2739 Annapolis RD Hanover MD is Terrible. The person at location does not know what he is doing. I have moved 14 times and used U-Haul all 14 times. I never have been told go outside and hook my own Trailer up then get him and he will come take picture. When I questioned him he said no one is here to do it. The he should not be a U-Haul location. Lucky I pull boat and know how to. The trailer lights were not working he told me to drive to one of the distribution centers 10 miles away so they can look at it. YOU CANNOT DRIVE ON PUBLIC ROAD PULLING TRAILER IF LIGHTS ARE NOT WORKING. I got a hold of U-haul who sent Area Manger David Abbott out to help me. I cannot say enough Great things about Mr. Abbott. Two issues. One was Trailer one was my Truck. He helped me diagnose problem, I ran to track auto got a rely fuse for Trailer light which fixed my truck. When I returned Mr. Abbott had trailer lights apart and was fixing them. After checking my car he checked Trailer and they had issue also. He call reservations, got my reservation cancelled, found a new reservation close by so I went to other Location In Laurel . They were great, They hooked up Trailer , tested lights and sent me on my way.Michael D.
