I reserved the largest truck for a 3 day rental and that worked out fine and then came back a week later to reserve another for the next week. Identical circumstances but the second reservation was "lost" and no truck was available at that location at the appointed time. The store found another truck at another location but had to rent it to me for additional days and miles resulting in a charge that was $500 more the first one. I later got a $200 credit despite being told they would make it right.Quint T.

was told that rentals can be dropped off at any location when reservation was done on the phone. i would have like that the employee i gave the keys to would have done a quick check if i was returning the truck to the correct location. he could have told me right there and then and i could have taken it to the correct instead of being charged $154. Also i do apologize for not answering the phone calls the next couple of days. After i dropped off the rental , I had to rush home, finish packing, and get on the road to Galveston. The next morning I boarded a cruise at 8 o'clock in the morning and I did not have service on my phone for the next eight days until yesterday.Valentine Carran F.
Better customer service, professionalism not there I was lied to, my service dog almost die cause of uhaul ,game playing the entire time from uhaul it was just a horrible nightmare experience and I wish you go out of business my auto transport I run it in on July 23 and on July 24 it's still on my acct I saw them that they rented my trailer to a young couple and it was nevered check in I will not be responsible for whatever happen to itmyriam A.
After the employees who helped us called the customers next to us weird and stupid as they left, they proceeded to express frustration and clear disdain for working there. After a morning of driving to multiple locations, being treated poorly by everyone we spoke to, and being as patient as possible, this experience sealed the deal. I won't be returning here, and would be hard pressed to return to U-Haul at all.Noah I.

Well, besides the first guy recommending me a lock that didn't fit on the u-haul, and also sending me off without the dolly I rented, the second guy who helped me attach/secure the trailer for the vehicle tow just seemed uninterested and failed to even secure the left front wheel of the vehicle we were towing. Luckily nothing bad happened but when we arrived in Frisco, the left front tire strap was entirely removed and unattachedâ€¦ Just some feedback. Otherwise fine!Bradley C.

1. UHAUL changing my reserved rental pick-up location inside of 24hr with poor communication/vague Text of "complete your online check-in" is bad business, costing me extra time and fuel for pick-up. 2. This is by far the best location & service in the San Antonio, Tx. Area in my opinion. Not just with uhaul, but with any rental company. Wish I could remember the young man's name. Very courteous, respectful, helpful, you name. The best. No others for mejessie R.
You still have over $130 still pending in my bank. You allready received the full payment, but still money is pending withdrawal that you have no right to hold further. I will never use Uhaul again. The online reservation was easy. The staff were courteous. This rental was for a 26ft truck. While the process was easy as always, this vehicle had definitely had a hard life. The ride in this truck was frightening at first. Then, I imagined it might be something like what the astronaut's experienced riding the space shuttle back through re-entry into Earth's atmosphere. But, to make a valid, earth-bound comparison: this particular vehicle was a rougher ride than any military vehicle I have driven in 12 years of active-duty service.Michael S.

The truck was not in great mechanical condition. It drove poorly on brand new roads. Shook violently on the smallest of road imperfections. Thankfully I had a short move, but if I had to drive a big distance I would have returned it. You should have your team test drive the equipment periodically.Steven C.

Employees, specially the manager are very rude and unprofessional. I cant believe how ive been treated. If you look up this location on google, you can see what other people had said. Pick up location was changed without notifying me. No email, phone call or text, nothing. As per previous experiences the Manager at this location is very unprofessional, does not have common sense and lacks the ability to realize that the equipment he rents needs obvious maintenance even when customers express the quipment has warning lights on dashboard. I personally pointed out the equipment given to me had warning lights he opted to ignore warning lights and issue the equipment anyway, saying it was my only choice. I pointed out to newer models available and he refused to issue this newer equipment with the 'take it or leave it' attitude, saying he had no control over maintenance issues. The end result is that the equipment did fail while on the road, leaving us stranded by the Highway and truck was towed away when roadside service failed to assist us. U haul is failing customers with the complicated emergency call system and contracted roadside assistance companies. U haul has much to improve when phone agents fail to follow up when: 1) U haul customers are stranded after equipmet breakdown. 2) when contracted roadside assistance companies are lazy and don't want to fix mecanical issues on the road and simply make the call to abandon Uhaul customers on the road stating that towing the equipment is the only solution to the problem or simply fail to show up to the emergency with the excuse that they are busy on other emergencies. Roadside assistance also fails to follow up with Uhaul customers. And (ignoring the truck is full of items) 3) U haul needs to retrain managers at rental locations to make simple decisions as to when it is not safe to issue faulty equipment to customers. Much more can be said in this review but in the interest of time just let it be said that. I will not be returning as a customer and I will no longer recommend to anyone to use U haul. At the contrary, I will be giving U haul negative feedback for failing us as customers in time of a severe emergencyByron M.

Explained that I needed a trailer to haul my 2020 HD TriGlide motorcycle. Even gave the dimensions. Was advised the 6x12 would work for me. When tried to load bike, it would not pass the entry point of the trailer because of the sides of the ramp. Returned unit immediately because it would not accommodate my needs. WE RENTED A LARGE TRAILER ON FRIDAY, WHEN WE ARRIVE THE STAFF WAS VERY RUDE I FELT LIKE WE WERE BOTHERING THEM WHEN I WENT TO PICK UP THE TRAILER, THE WORKERS MADE ME FEEL UNWELCOMED. AFTER THE TRAILER WAS HOOKED UP AND WE TOOK OFF THE TRAILER KEPT PULLING AT 1st I THOUGHT WELL IT'S NORMAL, THEN AFTER A WHILE IT JUST KEPT PULLING, WE HOOKED THE TRAILER UP TO OUR TRUCK AND IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM IT FELT LIKE THE BRAKES TO THE TRAILER KEPT LOCKING UP. WE ORDER THE RENTAL TIL SUNDAY AT 1 BUT DUE TO THE ISSUES WE WERE HAVING WITH THE TRAILER WE TOOK THE RENTAL BACK SATURDAY AFTER 1 WE GOT THE SAME UNWELCOMING FEELING AS WE DID THE DAY BEFORE. ALL IN ALL BAD EXPERIENE EVER NEXT TIME WE WILL JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.CrystalLynn M.

Everything at the location was excellent but the app on my phone sucks it was hard to navigate and keep making changes with out my doing to extend or renew your rental and it's not very easy to do all you need anywhere I couldn't get my tire that leaked and online you have to wait on hold for an hour to talk to anyone but the staff was good online and in person.HUNT N.
