Must inspect and check everything before you rent the trucks out to customers. I could not use the padlock 🔒 on this truck, secondly the smell inside the truck was so bad I had to open the window at all time while I was driving it .

The box truck was dirty could not see out the windows and the tank was on empty. I asked for a different truck and they helped clean the windows. Otherwise the experience was fine.

I am writing to dispute two incorrect charges on my recent rental: a $20.15 Fuel Charge and a $20.00 After Hours Service Fee. First, during my initial visit to pick up the truck, I explicitly told the staff that I would bring the vehicle back at night specifically to save money. The staff directly told me, "Yes, bring it back at night," but completely failed to disclose a $20 after-hours fee. I was intentionally misled. Second, the receipt shows 7 miles driven, but I recorded exactly 6.6 miles. With the vehicle's efficiency of 13-14 MPG, it consumed about 0.5 gallons. Right before returning the truck, I refueled it at a Shell station and paid $7.17, adding over 1 gallon of gas. Charging me for an additional 3 gallons on top of that is physically impossible. I have all screenshots and receipts ready as proof. I demand a full refund of $40.15 plus taxes immediately.

The motorcycle trailer is the best. low ramp, tie downs inside the railings. the rear gate rattles a bit, so have extra tie downs to hold the gate closed tighter. (like most trailers). Needed to add air to the tires they were at 25# and for full tire rating it needs to be at 65#. I used 50# as a compromise. All else went smooth on pick up and return.

When I called to make a reservation, I told Maggie I needed to park my car at the rental place for about 24 hours. She said it SHOULDN'T be a problem. I told her I needed to KNOW it wouldn't be a problem. She said she contacted the Burbank and Glendale locations and someone would call me back from those locations. Someone did; he told me it was perfectly fine to leave my car parked on the U-Haul lot in Glendale, so I booked the reservation. When I showed up, I was told I couldn't park there at all. I was annoyed because I'm under an EXTREMELY stressful move on top of a LOT of other things going on in my life. I'm a victim of domestic violence by TWO males for the past 7 years. The co-owner of my home is trying to illegally evict me early, and I'm alone. The guy at the counter didn't even let me talk before cutting me off to tell me that the call center doesn't know. I told him, "I'm not done." and proceeded to finish my story to say that someone from that location (or at least that's what Maggie told me would happen) called me and told me it would be okay to leave my car parked. Another guy interrupted me to also tell me that the call center doesn't know. I also told him that it wasn't the call center. Neither of them gave a damn about my predicament. The guy who checked me out in the store finally told me that I could park on Brand for 24 hours if I wanted to, so I took the keys, walked out, checked the parking signs on Brand, and once again he was wrong! It added SO MUCH stress to my day! Neither of the rearview mirrors worked. The joystick for the one on the driver's side didn't, and I couldn't manually fix the one on the passenger's side. I've never driven such a large van before, but even if it were a tiny car, the rearview mirrors need to work properly! If I had wrecked or damaged the van, YOU would make me liable, which is NOT okay! Maggie should have been properly trained. The two guys in the store need to be properly trained in customer service and NOT give false information that could have resulted in my car getting towed or ticketed had I listened to him and parked on Brand. I had a MILLION things to think about and deal with in that moment; I could have very easily forgotten to read the street signs because I'm under such EXTREME stress and duress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will never rent from there again, and I might never rent from U-Haul again, period. I will be moving in a short year. I know I will need to rent another moving van soon. I won't forget this experience, and depending on how you deal with this complaint, I may NEVER use U-Haul again. I will also be sure everyone I know who is moving is aware of this.

Had a one way move, originally scheduled for Burbank location. Because of the limited options, I had to get 15’ truck in Glendale. I was not charged extra and I had unlimited mileage. Only thing I would say is that it wasn't as clearly communicated about when I needed to send photos. I called the reservation team after the fact and they said it was fine.

The truck struggled to start anytime I turned the ignition on. Seemed like it could use a new starter, but it did start eventually every time. The guy helping us out was very polite and helpful too by the way.

Picking up at this location went really well. This is my preferred U-Haul location and they've been very reliable over the years. The only trouble I ran into was when dropping off the truck after hours. When dropping off after hours, you have to use the app and the app is not the best. It wouldn't accept the photos I took of the truck, but it wouldn't tell me why. It just kept saying there was an error processing all of the photos and to retake them. I tried again and again for 45 minutes before finally giving up. I wish there was another way to submit photos of the truck when dropping off after hours.

I think i Agree on $60 and now they have added the milage rate which was not there when I rented online and after that I got the car with low gas 1/4 tank amd I filled it out and use it and returned it with same level of 1/4. It now they charging me an extra 55 box for fuel and from what I agree on online which was 60 and now I am getting charged $223 , I am not sure what you call this but that will be my last time dealing with this business

Legit the best Uhaul location ever. Plentiful stock of trucks, easy pick up always. Helpful staff, equipment and supplies if I need them. And never had an issue with returning the trucks. The pricing will always be unbeatable.

The UBox was guaranteed for delivery in Glendale on 6/30/18. It arrived on 7/2/18. No one could tell me where it was or when it would be delivered. UHaul owes me $150 for the three days it was late!
