Front desk employee was not knowledgeable of the system she was using to ring up a trailer I wanted. Also, as the same person hitched up the trailer she hit my truck with the hooks and just said oops. Clearly she need more training and better customer service experience.Nestor M.

Your reservation system sucks, booked 3 weeks in advance. Got confirmation text to change pick up location 3 days before pickup date. Then on pickup date, the location did not have a truck. No one advised me of this. Went and rented a Penske, then you let me know that you had a truck 7 hours later. Bad customer service.Jack J.
When uhaul â€œguaranteesâ€ reservation it would be nice that the location had all of the items. We reserved 24 pads in Los Banos , they only had 6, reserved 48 with the truck they only had 12, had to push issue with sales before she would call around to find another location that could complete my order. Had to drive 80 miles to pick up truck, it kept getting further and further away the closer to pickup time, had less than an 1/8 tank of fuel that was irritating to start off having to fill up. Truck was great ran good and was very comfortableMark D.

Very poor customer service tried to explain the gas gauge was broken the service rep wouldn't go out and check it and said just put gas into it and go called back explained that oil psi gauge also didn't work and put 40$ into the gas tank gas gauge was still reading emptyHenry A.

I am disappointed as I dropped my box off at the location the last day of our 30 day rental. When I dropped it off, I told the gentleman that I need to make sure it was checked in that day so I would don't be charged for another month. He assured me he would do so. Checking my credit card statements, I see that I was charged for a whole another month. Disappointing - as I suspect he did not indeed check min that day but likely the next day and thus I was incorrectly charged for a mother month rental. I am requesting that I receive a credit for the second month.Sarah K.

Customer service is lacking, long lines equal long waits. Even though I used the website to reserve, I still had to wait in line while one person waited on us. They need more staff.Daniel E.

Service rep told us to get the car back to location a whole day before we needed to and because of her miscommunication and what she printed on our receipt we had to rush our entire moving process and quite frankly that's not fair. Plus the right side rear view mirror wasn't function properly was stuck facing down so I could see anything the whole time. The experience didn't feel $163 worth.Matthew M.

The mobile ordering system was beyond horrible. It took 30minutes or more to complete which counted against my rental time meaning instead of 2hrs I had to rush with less than 1.5hrs. It also asked for too much additional information. Two alternate contacts that have to accept the call from UHaul or a passport? It was ridiculous, we were waiting in the heat and losing rental time while they took forever confirming the info. A drivers license and card info should be more than enough. Staff at the location were great however. Very professional and helpful.Aaron K.

The take a picture of the gas gauge and use some app on your phone to fix the discrepancy was annoying, and made me feel like U-haul was trying to make an unpaid employee out of me. Your employees should take care of this kind of stuff.Tim A.
I reserved a furniture dolly but they were out. The other dollys and furniture pads we paid for were not in the truck. We had to stop loading and go back to the location to get them. We did not receive an apology nor was the person helpful.Terry W.
Only one negative thing is I rented 2 26 foot trucks and 1 was on empty and the other on 1/8 of a tank. A small inconvenience but none the less an inconvenient. Great staff and friendly people.Monty S.

My only complaint is the furniture mover I reserved in advance was not available. I flew in from out of state to help my 85 year old Mother to move and really needed the equipment. I am a 61 year old female so this was a hardship for me.Leslie C.

When we picked up the trailer, I kicked and/or picked up no less than a dozen nails, screws, rigid pieces of wire (copper?), tacks and similar. That's fine, for YOUR vehicles; however, when the same area is used for customer vehicles it will become an issue. It's also worth noting that the representative never once checked the trailer before we left, and they did not provide a link for me to provide my own photos, etc. When we returned, there were tire puncturers everywhere again. This time the representative took a fair bit of time to check the trailer inside and out...where were they the first time? A complete mess...but we'll be back as the selection is ample. It would be nice to not pull into your parking lot without crossing my fingers hoping to not pick up a nail (or similar).Thomas G.
Lady out front was rude and made me feel stupid with my questions as I was kinda lost. The lady at the front desk was ok but that me I had to click â€œlearn moreâ€ to use my app as a rental device. The app was very confusing. Checking the van back in at night was awesome, easy to follow directions, and clean as can be. Best part of the rental.Garen N.

Fix the South Blackstone, Fresno, CalIfornia location. I lost may entire day shuttling their Bad Order, 6 x 12 tandem axle trailer to and from the North Blackstone U-HAUL Service Center. The manager Heath, leaves at 15:00 each day and leaves his team to close each day, they are short handed,his team is excellent. I returned the equipment at 15:00 after shuttling U-Haul equipment. I have 4 companies, and an operations manager needs to have his boots on the deck plates with his team from before the shift starts until the gates close. I called to follow up on out equipment turn in 44 times, was told by his teammates that he would return my call regarding the no charge by U-Haul. I bill out at US$ 1,000 / day. TPlease send me the contact information for your Accounts Payable Team. I will prepare my invoice and submitt it to your AP Department. I u-haul has an issue with Paying my Comany, please give me the Contact information for your Corporate Attorney and my Corporate Attorney witless attempt to sort out this event through arbitration before a pending Corporate Law Suit. Your Operations Manager, Briana is very on top of her game and I strongly recommend her for a site location posting. I am on the West Coast Continental United States. I will make arrangements to be with my Corporate Councel at the appropriate time later this week before 1OCT21.
