Bad and rude customer service. I was charged for returning the dolly late, when I returned it on time, I asked to check my photos and also the security camera. Since the location didn't want to help make things right, and bluntly said that I was not listening when they didn't want to listen, i ended up calling the e service, Turns out the online return did't work correctly and it thought my GPS was 80 miles away from my location. I followed the detections I was given and this location didn't care and punished me by making me pay twice as much, they did't offer to help and didn't care to call and see what happened. This is not the only thing that happened at this location either. Never again. You lost A customer for life.OMAR SAEED A.

The truck interior smelled of sweat and body odor. On the return home we stopped to get gas and the truck would not start. There was water leakage in the front passenger floor area. The truck had over 100,000 miles on it. Maybe this explains the problems. Have not had issues like this in the past. Will check the odometer next time!LISA MICHELLE O.

My U-Haul experience was terrible. I was supposed to pick up my U-Haul in Southfield and I arrived at 9 AM rather than 8 AM and it has already been given to somebody else. Fortunately the Farmington Hills location still had the U-Haul truck I needed and I was able to complete my responsibilities. The Farmington Hills people were great, the Southfield people were helpful as I could be, but central U-Haul giveaway my rental and I'm not happy about itPATRICK FITZPATR I.

Drop off address on paperwork showed just the city and not a specific address. When I tried to return to the location I was told (Dixie Lock Up and Storage), that location was full and couldn't accept anymore trucks. I had to drive 10 min down the road to a U-Haul supercenter and thus going over my allotted mileage.Eric S.
When I first went to this location to make a reservation , there was a gentlemen who was helping the customer before me. He then had to leave the desk and told me that he would be right back. Then another female employee came to the counter, just ignored me. The male employee came back and helped me, but she kept on disturbing him asking questions about the next person 's reservation . When I came to pick up the truck next day there were 2 girls who were amazingly nice and friendly to customers and made the rental process easy. They were greatCHINTHANA SAMANT H.

The location I ended up picking up the truck from was fantastic, as was the customer service rep that I called when I arrived to pick up the truck at the location I had initially made the reservation. Upon arrival at 10AM when they were scheduled to open, there was a note on the door that they would not arrive till 11AM, I called customer service and they looked online and let me know that even if I waited to 11AM, they didn't have the truck I reserved available. The rep was able to move my reservation to another location, and it all worked out.Thomas A.
No I would not recommend this location nor any other location for U-Haul to anyone I know ever in my life I rented a truck 2 days 3 days prior to when I needed it before I even got the truck you change my location 5 times told me I couldn't get a truck wanted to change my time had me what having movers waiting for a truck that I try to get prior to the day I needed they told me I could have and then I'll do it became was a shitshow up until the moment I picked the truck up which I had to fight to get and drive out of my way to get so no I would not ever in my life recommend U-Haul to anyoneAlicia D.

When a client requests equipment in advance, dont later change the vehicle from a truck to a van without confirming with the client. Also don't call the customer an hour before pick up and say the vehicle is not ready because someone extended their rental. I don't care I requested a vehicle 2 days in advance.Stefan T.

You need more employees on Saturdays I was 8th in line with one person behind desk. I was early and it took an hour to finally get to the desk. Everyone was furious. The employee was great she kept her composure and had a very good attitude. Please don't do this to your employees or your customers it's bad business practice.Peggy D.

Have Clean Trucks & Properly Maintained Trucks to Legal Specification. Don't put back on faulty equipment, and risk the Life's of the Driver, passengers, or others on the Road because of Faulty or improperly repaired equipment like Tires and almost No Oil in the Engine.TODD MATTHEW L.
I could not use my hitch as it has a 2" ball. I asked to rent one, but the clerk said U-Haul doesn't do that any longer. So I had to buy a hitch with a 1 5/15' ball. When hitching the trailer, I asked the young man to tighten it just enough to take up all the clearance, rather than so tight that it would gouge off the plating on the ball. He said not to worry. When I returned the trailer, the ball had the plating gouged off right down to the bare steel. A brand new ball was severely damaged, The clerk inspected it, photographed it, and said she'd pass it on to the manager. So far, crickets.LANCE RICHARD L.

Tell individuals about the after hour convenience fee of 20. Post it by the drop box. I wont use the service again. I spent more money on fees than I did reserving the truck to use fir 10 miles. Not happy. Called and spoke with an 800 agent Tiffany. No help at all. As I told her...uhaul must get their money from penny pitching the customers...no Thanks. As I explained to her I also pur more than needed gas because the gauge on gas tank was not moving while at pump. After paying 12 dollars in gas for 10 miles...I gave up only to discover my tank was then on a full tank once I started driving the truck to the drop off which is less than a mile from my home. Again, I spent more money in fees and gas a Than the cost of the truck. Enjoy !!@SEVELLA LOURKISH H.
