The gathering of day workers at the entrance is a hazard for arriving and returning customers. When returning my truck I could not enter the lot because the group of day workers had stopped a car on Columbia Pike at the entrance of the lot.James A.
I'm not one to give poor reviews, but honestly, for as something as stressful as having to move, this experience was TERRIBLE and a bad start to my day. I chose mobile pickup as my way of picking up my reserved truck, but the app wasn't working which is very disappointing. When I went into the store on site for help, the service was quick at the register to push the order through, but I was assigned a truck in the lot that was parked behind another truck that needed to be moved. I had to force a staff person to move the blocking truck, and apparently, the switch was difficult enough to take half an hour of waiting in order for it to happen. I was on a tight schedule, and this was unacceptable, especially as the staff people were helping people who came in far behind me. Also, one of the equipment pieces I reserved AND paid for was unavailable, which is also totally unacceptable since I am relying on these to complete my move. Overall, U-haul continues to create a bad impression in my mind, and I'm likely to look elsewhere for moves in the future.Vincent P.
We showed up 20 minutes early and the woman gave us attitude for showing up early to start our reservation. We then waited until our reservation and by the time we were done checking out it was 15 minutes into our reservation. When we showed up, the staff also told us they were unsure if they'd even have a vehicle for us despite making reservation in advance. Overall, very unpleasant.Matthew R.
This location has a large amount of men soliciting work outside the location that aggressively approach your car when you drive up. The trucks are not well maintained. Upon return of the truck the worker was smoking a cigarette while checking the milage and inspecting the truck. I would not visit this location again or recommend it to anyone.Danielle N.

The fuel was less than half when i took the truck, upon return i put the gas back to the level i received the truck. But the UHaul associate charge me $7.5 for fuel charges which does not make sense to me.MALIK K.
The parking situation was unclear, and we were eventually told there was no parking and we'd need to find street parking. That would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Also, the employee inside accidentally gave away our reservation to the person in line in front of us. She was able to reverse it but that was a little nerve wracking. Uhaul at this location makes customers have to put their equipment like dollies on the truck themselves. I'm use to it already being in the truck at the time of pickup. Trucks parked so close together you can barely look over the whole truck properly or open the back of the truck.Divina A.

Not the fault of the employees (they were super helpful and friendly), but returning equipment after hours was a nightmare. Other customers had parked awfully, and it made maneuvering into the parking lot a nightmare. Again, not the fault of the employees, but still wouldn't recommend the location for that reason.Liam F.
The manager showed up an hour and half late to open the store. Six people including myself were waiting outside in 90 degree heat for over an hour for this person to arrive and start handing out keys to the vehicle. I called the call center and another person did too to inquire why the office wasnt opened and we were told the "manager was on his way". This was incredibly unprofessional and on top of it caused a major problem with the timeline I had set for moving our home that day. Overall I can not be more disappointed in uHaul based on this experience.Eric K.

The customer service desk and quick return process was really what made this location stand out. Every employee was super friendly and very approachable. They were proactive and checked on me before I could ask them for assistance. Even though their fleet is a little older, they've clearly done the best that they can with it. The uhaul website is clunky and difficult to use. It was unclear who checked in the truck when I was done. The service guys said they would do it, the website said I would do it and then there was the potential for a $20 check in fee. The website should also text the dual sign on code not email it. Texting allows quicker access to the code when you are on an iPhone. I would say the staff were the best part. Friendly and helpful. I would have liked the dolly and blankets to have been put in the truck and be ready to go but that didn't happen.Matthew S.

I made my reservation three days in advanced when I got to the place there were like 8 people ahead of me therefore I had to wait like 20 minutes to get my equipment my time was very limited and that worried me a little. Hope you can do something to speed up that process, otherwise everything was fine.-FRANSICO V.
I had a surprisingly good experience with my Uhaul rental. Pickup was easy, I even ended up with a reduced rate that the customer service rep found and also deleted some unnecessary blankets, so cost me less than anticipated. Drop off was easy.Adam K.

Parking is a nightmare for customers who are just trying to buy boxes, shrink wrap and other items. There is no indication of where else you can park and there are signs all over not to park or my car will be towed. However, the staff is excellent. Where to begin. I've used this location twice in the past year, both were bad experiences. I will talk about my most recent visit. First off, the mobile express check-in did not work (also did not work the first time). Fine - I go to wait in line. Only 1 person working the desk and it was a good 25min wait. Finally at the desk, it took him an additional 10-min or so to check me in. I get my key and go outside. First, the truck was parked between other cars - I could not drive it out. I go back inside to tell them but they tell me I have to wait in line again. WHAT? by this point its been an hour since I arrived here. Finally they move the trucks blocking my rental so I can leave. Second, the truck was dirty. There were white stains and streaks all over the seats and yet the report said the car was clean - wrong. Third, a few minutes after being in the rental we realize that the tire pressure was SO LOW. We had to immediately find a gas station to fill up the tires. This would have caused a SERIOUS accident if we had loaded up the truck and gotten on the highway. Insane. Fourth, returning it, as I pull into the drop-off zone and am pulling up the Uhaul app on my phone to complete the drop-off procedure, a worker bangs on the truck until I get out. He yells at me "get out so I can clean". So rude. Terrible place, jeez, they need to be inspected by corporate ASAP. Terrible.christopher W.
Very convenient because it's close to where we live. The facility is quite crowded - small parking area with a lot of vehicles, which is something that can't be fixed. It has been quite a while since we rented from this location, but I will note that the interior of the facility seemed more inviting than I remember.John A.

The rep I dealt lacked â€œpeople skillsâ€ and came across as cynical. I observed the rep treat other customers with the same lack of common courtesy, so it wasn't just me. The rental was clean enough but it was a bit suspect, mechanically. It had a repetitive whole-vehicle vibration that occurred every 0.1 - 0.2 of a mile. I would have brought this matter up when I dropped off the vehicle, but the same rep that I started the rental with was also the rep that I returned the vehicle to, and that rep certainly did not give a shit about my rental experience.Kevin M.

I rented a van for a day, I returned at night round 11 pm , I got charged for 2 days, I trusted uhaul before in the same location I was satisfied with the costumer service, not anymore I am asking you to give me my money back for one day that I did not use the van and I called that location prior and let them know I still moving my belongings and that I will drop off the van when I am done, they assured me that there is no additional fees after I asked, that I was good to go At the end they turn round and charge me for another day they lied to me I am not gonna forgive them I am a father off four kids hard worker and I don't eat the same bread as uhaul people do They feed their kids other people stolen moneyredouane B.
The staff at this location were friendly, but the process of renting the van was disorganized and took longer than it should've. My designated van was blocked in, so we had to retrieve staff to get it out, then upon getting my key another staff member ran out and said my check-in process wasn't complete and I had to switch vans. I then had to take multiple photos of the inside and out of the van. After about 15 minutes of checking in we finally took the van off of the lot. My total for a 3.5 hour rental and 25 miles driven was $78.Nicole K.
