The lines to check in were very long, and there was only about 1/16 of a tank of gas in my vehicle at pickup

With only 2 people on line in front of me, it still took almost 15 minutes of standing there waiting before I was attended to. There were three staff people on duty but only one was actually servicing clients there in person. One seemed to be consumed with an issue on the phone and the other was replenishing supplies from various merchandise displays in the store.

Bring back 24 hour drop off. An 8:45 final drop off time in NYC is ludicrous. I had to search for parking for 1.5 hours at 1am after the event we rented the van for was over - eventually I had to bribe a parking attendant. I’ve used this UHall location for years and I never will again if this policy isn’t reversed.

The truck that we were given had a very dirty window and mirrors. The truck was leaking coolant. The trucks seat belt alarm would not turn off. The trucks transmission would not shift gears without slamming on the accelorator, not good for traffic.

Both of the ladies who delivered and picked up the container at my house in Lancaster were THE BEST. Highly skilled and very professional. Kudos Uhaul for having these talented girls doing this job.

I’ve booked a cargo van here every time I move. I always do my check in with the same lady, and every time I have come here, she has been very rude with me. It’s unpleasant to have to deal with the same mal-tempered person every time.

Both pick and drop off facilities were not ready. Moving was several hours behind due to this which meant I couldn’t use the service elevator and finished in the dark.

Fast friendly service... appreciate the gas’s top off pricing that is reasonable. Van was new and in excellent condition.

Disappointing regarding communication of rental Agreement of vehicle

Despite having a reservation and arriving early, there was a very long wait. One of the two service employees was on the phone the entire time, leaving only one person to handle the line of customers. The woman who was actually working was efficient and courteous. Because there was some kind of construction in the building going on and only one of two elevators operating, they were unable to bring my vehicle down to the street level. The young men working in the garage were polite and helpful. However, by the time I received the vehicle, I was almost one and a half hours behind schedule. So beware if you're on a tight schedule. Be prepared for a possible delay in picking up your vehicle. My return of the vehicle was quick and efficient.

I had a very short drive to do and to avoid the $30 service fee, I spent more time and distance stuck in Manhattan traffic rather than just taking care of my very small business. A more decent option should be in place for very small job that I had.

Computer was slow, customer service slow, and they forgot my blankets, didn’t have a real drop off location address for me. Price was also different then quoted!

Pick up was perfect! They were able to move up my reservation from 2:30 to noon without an issue. I also had to extend the reservation twice to account for issues with the move and they were very helpful throughout this process. I spoke to at least 4 people on the phone and they were each so helpful and friendly.

Pickup process was easy. The van was definitely overpriced with some hidden fees, though. I feel like I could have found a better deal elsewhere for similar service standards.

I was able to pick up the cargo van I rented, but right away the front desk attendant was surly and rude, complaining about doing more work when I expressed that someone else would be driving instead of me. When I returned to drop off the van, the garage attendant was on a cell phone call while checking the vehicle in, then couldn’t find my contract. After being sent inside to the front desk, I learned that somehow I had been charged over four times as much as I should have. I was told a supervisor would come—none came. Eventually it was all worked out, but it took half an hour or more, and I never received an explanation of why the high charge had been applied to begin with.
