I am done renting from U-Haul... not this location fault!!! But what a nightmare! You all really let me down this time. I was supposed to get a hitch put on. I will have someone else do it I no longer trust U-Haul

The customer service in the morning was pretty poor. Then the van had a weird smell and was dirty. I needed to wipe the wheel and components down before driving. The van also ran very rough. One of the worst that I have driven this year. The check-in guy was great though and deserve to know that.

The location is difficult to access. Can only access from a one way street. I'm pretty sure they gouged me on the gas, b/c I filled with the exact amount of gas I used as of milage they come back with its a little low ten buck. Tell me as close to exact is how much is a little low? So yeah. No repeat buisness coming from me. Not sure if I'll use U-Haul again. Plenty of other options. Probably would tell friends and family to look elsewhere.

Understaffed for such a large location, and staff tried to nickel and dime for extras

I rented a car dolly. The retracted ramps a very very loud rattle. No fault of the maintenance, purely a design issue. The noise was very distracting and I had concerns about the general quality of the dolly, I had a car on the highway actually point to the unit as they passed me. I was on a residential street and I know the rattle scared some school age pedestrians. I will not rent a car dolly again. I have been in the market to purchase so I have observed many dollies on the highway and have not noted any similar rattle. The manufactered dollies I have looked into purchasing all have some type of tamper to eliminate the rattle.

1) I was charged $106.10 as a deposit on August 8th. That deposit has not been returned. 2) the box was guaranteed on the 24th, I did not receive a call for pick up until the 25th and could not pick up until after 2:00pm. 2) ubox was supposed to arrive at 1201 N Chapp3611 s port Corpus Christi, Tx 78415 per the invoice. When I arrived at the location I was told to go to another location to pick up the ubox. The

A few problems. 1) I was charged a $106.10 as a deposit for a truck and trailer. The deposit was never returned. 2) the U box was not strapped down to the trailer. I almost lost it on the road( it almost tipped over) and had to drive very careful back to the location. The uhaul rep. stated that securing the U box on the trailer was not necessary. Yet, All the other outgoing Uboxes had straps securing them to the trailer.

An employee that was helping was having trouble with the computer system. I noticed the same thing in Raleigh when I was getting my pod. Perhaps this is something that should be addressed by HQ?

After spending a half an hour on the phone, talking to six different people, I supposedly scheduled my UBox pick up for the next day. The next day, they still had no idea I was coming for pick up.
