The employees didn't want to work. They jokes about charging me erroneous fees and did not assist with the unloading of my vehicle off of the car transport. This was the worst experience I've had with uhaul.JUSTINDEANDRE J.
Very unfriendly and they lied about the fuel left in the tank. Most likely to spite me because I explained what I was told at the pickup in Miami and they scoffed. I could have been a repeat customer because I move frequently for business.JONATHAN B.
Upon pick up the gas was well below what was indicated on the contract. I was told to take pictures just incase I was asked. Well I took pictures and was still charged. My contract should have been edited in the system before I left the location, this is a big inconvenience to customers. If I didn't have the available funds in my account I would have been hit with over draft fees in my bank account. This drama is under for the customer. I wasn't even told about the charges I just so happen to check my bank account balance.MARQUITA S.

Two staff were working and I was the only customer. The two staff were not helpful. They wanted me to back the trailer into a tight spot and I had to go around the building twice, as the door to the parking lot was not open, to ask them to assist. Then, they wanted me to unhook the trailer myself and I had to "point blank" ask them to do it. They were not quick, I had to be assertive in getting them to provide assistance, and this was a far cry from the great experience I had at pick up. The two staff there were friendly but clearly not there to work, unless directed to.Sean M.

It was a disaster trying to pick up truck. Spent an hour and a half trying to get it done. When I finally did get the truck, the mileage clicked over one mile before I went 25 ft. Only used it 11 miles but got charged for 12. Not a major thing but, crap.Mark P.

I was over charged for gasoline, even though I did replace the gas. I was also charged for an additional day and I did spoke with a representative over the phone, who said I would not be charged for extending my rental return time. No one in the location explained anything very real.URI C.

I have no problem with the local office the Mgr was awesome. But the person I talked to from Corp either needs to be fired or is a complete dingbat!! She called on tue before our thurs rental which had been booked for several weeks and said there was no longer a 20' truck avail in albany we would have to drive 45 min away. I told her no way and she said she could give us a 26' at the same price. I confirmed this was at the Oglethorpe dr location we've used for 20 years she said yes. Thurs we went to pick it up and the Mgr said we weren't in the system for his location it was another location on w broad Ave so we went, mind you I had movers waiting on me I was paying by the hr, this Mgr said we weren't in his system and when he checked his inventory on computer it did read he had one but he didn't have anything on premises!! I called the Mgr back at the Oglethorpe location and he said to come back he could switch things around and got us one. Thank the Lord, he was our hero. The Mgr at the w broad location was also very polite and courteous and said this happens a lot, the website inventory will show inventory that he simply doesn't have. Sorry this is so long but it is ridiculous for this to happen the Mgr at Oglethorpe needs a raise!!ROBERT A.

My experience was horrible. The truck I reserved was not there there was not a replacement truck and we had to get a van. Which made the moving process twice as long. On top of all that we were changed more for the van than for the truck we originally reserved. Having to go through all of this made moving while 8 months pregnant even harder.Charles L.

I reserved a vehicle via online, called the location to verify the reservation. Was told it would definitely be available. When I arrived I waited 10-20 minutes in line. When I told the associate that I reserved a 15ft truck. He repeated me then left the desk for about 25 minutes with me sitting and waiting, unsure of what is going on. The other agent assisted 2-3 other customers while I wait for this guy to return. When he finally returned, he got on the phone and proceeded to discuss a different customer's issues regarding insurance on a ubox. I then called my husband to express my frustration. Then he began to ask the person on the phone about my truck. With no communication from him. I looked back at my online reservation which now shows canceled. I ask why it has been canceled and he tells me that he didn't cancel me out but that the only â€œDCâ€ that he has was returned to the wrong location and has probably been reported stolen so he doesn't have a truck to give me. I then asked if there is a smaller truck or different truck that I could get. He said no but I could check around the other locations. At this point I've been here for 1.5hours. I am an hour behind my schedule which is a work related day trip. As a managing partner/ proprietor of a restaurant, I work in customer service daily. I could understand the technical challenge presented on the day, but the total lack of empathy around the matter is an issue for me. This gentleman seemed to careless that I had been held up for over an hour with no actual attempt to resolve my issue (truly UHaul's issue). I initially left the building feeling defeated when I decided to call customer service to see my other options since I was guaranteed a vehicle. The lady offered me a $50 credit back to my account and a vehicle available 2 hours later. I accepted and went back inside to verify. The lady who assisted me then, (Rachel) I believe was her name was quite polite and much more professional.Jabriel D.

The Guy name Timothy that works there looks throwed away ,is very unprofessional and very rude.He fabricated paperwork saying he was the one who rented me the uhaul and he wasn't the one a lady did and I'm being charged for days i didn't have the uhaul .i called and went to the facility to address the issue and he made smart remarks towards me and my family.He called me and i said that i was owed money they charged me to much and then i get a notification of my card being declined for a payment for $272 the day after.I will never spend another dime in that facility if he continues to work there.KIMBERLY B.

Other customers were waiting for over2 hours after Rachel finally returned to the store I asked for a receipt was rude and told me I would have to wait I was waiting over an hour he then said he would push the button to get me out of the store the customer service is horrible at the store at 820 Oglethorpe in Albany something really needs to be done I will never use haul again after this I will also tell anyone I know not to use uhaul as wellToney F.

Although the problem was fixed before I got on the road, some situations should not have happened. I was put in the wrong truck and dolly for my trip, and I had to come back the next day, when I needed to be already on the road. When I got there. No one had no recollection that the truck I needed was outside. I had a voicemail from the previous day saying that my truck would be there. I had to step outside and and see my truck already put together, but filthy. I had to wait although I was the second person there. Three ppl were put in front of me, while I had to unload my previous truck with all the furniture to the new one. When I looked in the cabin, another problem. It was filthy! I told the person I would help clean ðŸ§¼ clean it to save time. I got there at 8:40, but it didn't open until 5 after 9. I left around 11am. I get on the road spent over 225 dollars in gas. That is unheard of. Bcuz the truck ðŸ›» frequently needed refilled. For a one way trip that should not be. I tried calling, and was on hold for 30 minutes before I hung up.Shantel J.

Both customer service/rental agents were very nice and patient. There was a shortage of trucks and weren't enough to fill all reservations but they handled the situation in a professional manner and found an agreed upon solution to meet everyone es needsDawn R.
The wait was longer than expected. There were two employees on duty, only one handling check ins and returns. More than 3 customers waiting in line. I arrived at 9:20 am, my reservations were for 9:30 am Didn't get to the register until 9:42 am.VIRGINIA D.

I had absolutely no problem with the storage storage solutions, my problem was with scheduling. They changed my pick up location with no heads up. I had to drive 45 minutes out the way to get a truck I reserved more than 2 weeks ago. I'm left with the impression that reservations means little or nothing and I got tired of hearing fake apologies! I drove an hour and a half to find out the truck promised me was gone yesterday and I had to call to find this out, no courtesy call from uhaul customer courtesy. I paid ober $1000 for storage during covid19 pandemic and was charged late fees within 2 days of being late(during a worldwide pandemic). Spoke with corporate and no results.
