I arrived at 8:50 am for a 9am opening. No one showed up to open the facility. We finally called the President and the Manager of the store at 9:30 to find out what was going on. Someone finally showed up at 10 to open. There was only 1/4 tank of gas in the van and it was parked behind another van so that delayed me further in leaving. Will not be going back to this Uhaul facility.

The van was dirty on the inside. I put to much gas in and asked for a refund and got a run around. There was only a quarter of a tank of gas when I picked up the van.

Scheduled a pickup for Sunday. Arrived at this location at 10 mins. till 9. Opening time was 9 am. No one showed up to work at this location until 9:40-9:45 am. Annoying! Not so much as a sorry to any of us. There were about 9 customers waiting.

Vehicle was not clean. Windows were filthy which made driving difficult. Had to pull over and clean the windows after I left. When I returned the vehicle, there were three staff members, all helping one customer. No one came to help me. I ended up doing the self return.

Everything was good except for charging me $8.64 for 2 gallon gas. I picked up truck at the gas level in the middle, I went to Costco gas station to refill gas to the middle and returned the truck. But still be charged 2 gallons without notice. I called this location and was transferred to customer service but waited more than 29 minutes no one answered my call. Please refund me!

The car was not clean. All windshields and mirrors were dirty. I got glasses and poor eye sight. There was no water in washer wiper container to wash the windshield. Car smells bad, cigarette smell. Blankets were dirty with hales and trashes in it. Slider Door was hard to roll up. There was very dirty plastic container for blanket. It was not cleaned for decay I did not want to touch or open it. There was butterfly screw to release dolly which would not open. Door handles and steering wheels were dirty and sticky. Truck is very old 139500 miles. Poor and noisy engine, for 80 miles drive I put 10 gallons, not fair to customer. Gas tank was 3/8 full. It could have been filled up so customer could bring back full. It is hard to know how much gas was used. I put gas in it and filled to half tank and paid too much for gas. I am a disable 62 years old. I had my first U-haul back in 1979 which was stick shift. I rented U-haul trucks many many times. It was a bad experience this time and very unexpected. I am a County Inspector, serving and protecting people. I have no complaint, it was my duty to report these issues to you. These are for your information, someone needs to check the trucks before giving it to next customer. Please do not do this to other. I live in Thousand Oaks and normally rent at a smaller location closer to me. I did not know what a great Uhaul facility I had so close by. It had so much to offer for moving (boxes, supplies, trailer parts, etc). I will highly recommend renting at this location. To top it off the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My rental location was moved from Oxnard to Agoura requiring another 30 mile Uber ride. No one told me until I went to the Oxnard location that there was an issue. I got an e-mail two days earlier telling me there were no issues. The person on the phone sending me to Agoura promised 150.00 dollars off. No one at the pick-up or drop-off location ever heard of that.

UHAUL experience in general was quite possibly the worst i've ever had with any company in a service based industry. i reserved a unit 4 weeks in advance and 3 days leading up to the visit i confirmed 3 times that the trailer i had reserve was ON SITE and ready to be picked up. the closest location was 1hour 15 minutes away. i showed up and it was under a bridge overpass that did not have a single trailer on the lot. they then told me to drive another hour to Santa Monica which half way through the drive they cancelle that and then recommended i wait until 6 pm and drive up to Santa Barbara which would be 2 hours of additional driving north.....we settled for an open ended 5x9 trailer which did not fit all of my belongings so i was not able to move all of my belongings. no support along the way. no consistency along the way. no sympathy, no ability to work to find a solution. horrendous expereince all the way around. this was not the fault of the pick up location but UHAUL in general

I rented a truck and trailer. Staff happily helped me work out the logistics of loading the truck and loading the trailer, which was a new experience for me. It was easy, with their help. Great experience overall.

Read the contract, make sure you understand how they are charging you. Take picture of the truck if there are any damages to the body of the truck before you leave the parking lot Take pictures of odometer before leaving the parking lot. Truck had no lock on the rear gate. Drivers side rear view mirror wouldn't stay still presenting a safety issue. Would move when closing the door and could also move while driving. Drivers door didn't close very well.

Your web site's customer service sucks! Last time you changed the pickup location twice and had me driving to Korea town from Culver City. I cancelled that reservation and got another in Irwindale. This time I reserved a 20' truck from Agoura Hills, I thought, but your website changed my pickup location to Woodland Hills. WTF! Also it is almost impossible to call you as you ne er have anyone available to answer the phone.

This uhaul cost me money, time, major hassle for they are not knowledgeable with hitches. This branch is negative 10 in customer service. I got stuxk with 2 etrailer hitches that was recommended personally by aron skelton, and sergio martinez costing me major shipping fees.i have eacalated this issue to the corp office.

Location overcharged me for the rental. I returned it 30 minutes before it was due and the Location told me to put the key in the box which I did. I got the bill emailed to me and they listed the return time as 15 minutes after it was due and they charged me for an extra day plus the $28 extra insurance! Not cool!

1. Pickup location was changed from Oxnard to Agora Hills about 30 miles. 2. One hour before pickup I was notified of a 2 hour delay in pickup time. This caused an extra 30 miles travel. 3. When attempting to call this location at least twice on pickup day no one answered the phone! When I arrived there were 3 employees hanging around the cashier area. Surely there was enough staff to answer a phone call.
