The only problem we had was, we looked on your site to get help moving. We went with pro movers and reserved the time slot of 3 - 5 pm. At 3;05, I got a call from Ray, saying that they were finishing up the job before me. Well they didn't get there until 3:45 at that time most of the furniture was on the truck, they moved some this around, they got at the new property @ 4:10 and was done by 5:03 pm , and charged for 2 hrs., also my grandson and son-ln law said they smelled like pot ,I should not have to pay an hour for them being late. Very disapointed with their service!

pictures for the vehicle I was give should be updated instead of each customer having to dispute and submit new pictures. This truck has a lot of "damage", tears in the vinyl, chunks of paint off the front, driver seat has paint on it, passenger seat is full of tears.

The truck was an old GMC 26 ft and it was in very bad condition. It shouldn't be on the road. It should be in the salvage yard. The brakes were not working too good. The A/C didn't work, the seats were torn and the truck had alot of damage to the body when we picked it up. We will never use uhaul again.

I had to wait nearly an hour to pick up a van I had reserved at 8:30 a.m. and did not check out until 9:20 a.m.. This location needs additional staff early on Saturday mornings. While this location is very convenient, I am not sure I would recommend to others. Dropping off was considerably easier, thank goodness.

I'm not happy with the pricing and what our total was. I had called several times explaining our situation. And the price that was given to was not what we paid in the end. I had to rent the truck several extra days and what they told me the price was going to be was not what we were charged. Not happy . Going to have to rent another truck not sure I'll come back to uhaul. And when we do rent trucks it is always from uhaul. Not sure we will do it anymore. Erin

Online it said my total was $79 got there to pick it up it was a little over $100 drop it off (clean & gas put back in it) and it was then $158... no explanation of why the constant price hikes. Not very professional in my opinion

Other than the young guy (tall, thin with dark hair) who checked us back in, the overall experience was well below our expectations, and what we're used to with U-Haul. The guy who did our initial rental pick-up had zero customer service, and acted like he couldn't be bothered to answer our questions or provide assistance. The rental contract stated the truck had 3/4 of a tank of gas, but it actually only had a 1/4 of a tank. He never told us that we would complete the inspection via our cellphone or anything. I will not be doing business again with this location, and will submitting a letter of complaint to management. Very poor customer service.

The problem is not with the store location, the problem is with U-Haul calling me the morning of the rental to tell me they did not have a truck. Very upsetting! I pushed back, and eventually they found one at this location, 30 miles out of my way. The location was very friendly and helpful, but it was still 30 Miles each way out of my way. It added a lot of stress to my moving day.

I would only recommend this location for someone who lives closer. I originally booked at Dallastown but nothing was available. I feel that U-haul should drop a truck off at the location requested instead of making the customer go to the new location. We were on a time constraint and this area is very busy and made us start later than wanted. I don't see why a truck could not be delivered to the location I suggested. Gracias.

The customer service was really bad. I ordered 2 hand carts and they only had 1. When I told the service person there was only 1cart, he said I didn't charge you for it so just take 1. Also did not go over anything with the truck or contract. Just handed me the keys and told me where it was parked.

You can have the employees show prospective customers to their rental or have the employee bring to the front of building. I watched the interaction of one employee go and bring the customer their rental, while the employee (Jesse Hoffman at store 811054 in York, PA) who waited on me was not as attentive. I know I am just one person, but all it takes is for one person to not be treated fairly. I hope you take this in to consideration because at the end of the day, it's all about satisfaction for the customer and the employee.

Please do more for customer: The staff did not load the appliance truck onto the moving truck for me. Staff told me where to find one near the building, for me to roll to the moving truck myself. It had a different serial number, which meant my contract numbers didn't match. I like my local U-Haul location better than this one, but I was sent to this further-away location because of a lack of trucks available on day of pickup.

After returning the truck on time and without any damage, I got a voice message from the call center and text messages about when I was going to return the truck and if it had any damages. Attempts to resolve the problem by phone resulted in two long wait periods. I eventually went to the rental office to confirm that the truck was there and made another visit to confirm it had no damage. My previous experience with U-Haul went smoother because the vehicle was inspected and my card was charged when I dropped it off.

The truck already had damage and I did not add any more. Also rented an appliance hand truck that turned out to be broken. And could not move the one appliance that needed to be moved. My refrigerator. I am on crunch time And now have to find another way to move the fridge with out a whole new truck and and truck rental.

Employees offered wonderful customer service. While Uhaul the company offered zero customer service and forced me to hire a locksmith to service the unit and the lock that I paid UHAUL for service. The company who's product failed, forced a paying polite customer to spend $135+ to service YOUR UNIT/PRODUCT. I didn't rent a unit from a locksmith. I didn't pay a locksmith for the UHAUL lock that immediately jammed. I didnt put my credit card and personal info on anyone else's business account but yours UHAUL Your employees were helpful, but horrifically ill informed. Two employees agreed I could buy bolt cutters and deal with the failed lock myself. Your management is so greedy with knowledge ( to hold a totalitarian state) that neither (pleasant) employees was educated enough to tell a HIGHLY UPSET PAYING CUSTOMER. Thattttt, NO sir you cannot do that. It's against policy, no bolt cutters won't work. Not a word. Clearly poor management. So I'm not only in the hole for UHALS failed lock, also the unit. Which UHAUL refuses to service? Seriously? Its your bloody product. I'm now $325+ in the hole for 48hrs of tragic service/failed product. Your employees also kindly informed me I could get a refund. Before 30days of "service" expired. So I'm irrate to say the least.

Thank u for your services. I was in need of storage 7 yrs ago when I rented it..and times were tough when I did a settlement to get my things out. I've lost a lot. I only had 1 day to get my stuff and it was me and my daughter. We got what we could and had to leave the rest.its not the fault of uhaul. I lost my job due to covid..my apt..my daughter and the clothes I needed for the funeral was in the unit...I have lost so much.

The wall in unit 7004 needs to be repaired on the right hand side near the floor, the cement is falling off. Uhaul corporate needs to help Staff to know what exactly the size of each unit can hold. The young lady who opened my account looked on your site & tried to find the info out but it doesn't explain/identify that clearly. For example, a 10x15x6 unit can fit a one to two bedroom apartment/home?! Yes/No?! Or is appropriate for a one bedroom apartment? I ended up not using your facility because you couldn't tell me that and that was vital to knowing if my items could fit. That is a MAIN point of improvement and also it would be nice if you can let staff know what size can fit as noted above. The young lady was professional helpful and kind & I appreciated that.

I believe you should have a longer accessible hours to your storage unit. They should change access to your storage to 24 hours instead of 7 8 a.m. to 8 a.m.

I would have rated this higher. But I booked my storage a week before my move. Unloaded my stuff to find out my storage room 1018 has a lock on it. My stuff is sitting in the hallway waiting for the lock smith to show up he seems to be busy these days because it been almost 24 hours. Also I questioned why My Im being charged 10x10 rate while my storage is 8x8. I was told the price board was incorrect. It also seem that the website is incorrect too. Bottom line I've been overcharged for a storage room, while my expensive stuff sits in the hallway.

I like the facility in Colorado much better. This one is not az well-lit nor maintained.us the one in Colorado is climate controlled. Also, I oy need a 5x5 but had to take and pay for one two sizes bigger. Also, this one is not as convenient as my other one but just as pri ey. However, we needed to inload our trailer right away.

In-person customer service was excellent. Employees are knowledgeable, courteous, understanding and patient. They appear to be overworked, though. More employees could eliminate the long lines and improve customer service experience. There also doesn't appear to be anyone answering the phone at this particular location. Again, this is reflective of the lack of staff; not their quality.

Right from the start my experience was atrocious. From a trailer hitch installed upside down, to lost storage reservation, to Outrageous hold times, failure to end my storage lease after I moved out. Miscommunication and inept counter help. I will never use Uhaul again or refer to friends or family.

The person who took care of us did as much as they had to do. Not very customer friendly. I also asked about a mouse problem since there was a big sticky mouse trap in the storage unit I was renting. I was told there wasn't a problem. The only problem was the sticky mouse trap got stuck to one of my boxes and it cannot be removed no matter how much you pull at it. It seems to me there is a problem or there wouldn't have been a mouse trap in my storage unit to begin with. One more thing to worry about.

Supervisor was very disrespectful with my wife and when appropriately and respectfully approached about, he had a seemingly "i dont care" attitude and didnt even as much apologize or even try to understand his wrong doing. His only response was "ok" when I explained the situation that I wasn't there for and how criticizing a customer who didn't hear you for legitimate reasons is wrong. He simply walked away to avoid something he was wrong for which is completely unprofessional and he shouldn't be in a position he doesn't deserve with that negative attitude. I'm a 14 and ongoing army vet, I shouldn't have to worry about my wife having that kind of situation while I'm out with my daughter. If I trust you enough to do business with you for over a year with storage and utilize your vehicle services why do I need to worry about her going into your facility and dealing with your employees? Do I need to go in from now on to fend for myself just to do business?

There was only one time during my unit rental that I was two days late on a payment. I honestly had forgotten about it as the due date was over a weekend. I received an email about it and quickly called and made a payment as well as set up for auto pay. The thing that upset me is that in that time (two days...first time late) they had already sent letters to BOTH of my contact people about me not paying. That's when I decided to up my timeline and get moved out before paying anymore. Everything else was great, but that seemed a bit harsh and quick.

My only problem was that the storage room had no light, and yes facility is well lit, but there seem to be a bit of a rodent issue and i had no type of food or any thing that would attract mice rodent or etc...but overall my experience with u haul went well

Storage situation was fine even tho they did not add my automatic payment multiple times and tried to fine me late fees even after I called multiple times to set up automatic payment. Unit was fine but some rats got into my stuff and pooped on my stuff.

Worst uhaul EVER! Mice got into ALL my stuff and completely ruined EVERYTHING! He told me I should of gotten insurance then. I was charged a $50 late fee for 1 day late. I will NEVER use UHAUL again.
