All went well for both pick up and drop off. I extended the rental a day but was able to return it on the 23rd, the original drop off day. The girl was awesome at check in and processed the final payment charging me for the additional miles. Yesterday I receive an email charging me for the additional day, along with other charges total $82. I sent a note back indicating I return the truck earlyâ€¦waiting for a response.ROBERT D.

I reserved a truck and an appliance dolly with insurance on-line, and it was confirmed contract#26429654 to move a refrigerator. When I went to pick them up, they said there was no a dolly ordered and that they didn't have one. I have a copy of my on-line order showing the dolly, yet it disappeared from the same order by the time I went to pick it up, I should have been notified if they didn't have the dolly before I went to pick it up several days later. I hired a person to help, so I had to move the refrigerator on it's side, risking damage. I hope it works when I go to plug it in. Very poor way of doing business. I will use a competitor next time.CARMEN L.

was told the tank was full and it appeared to be so looking at the gauge. HOWEVER.....as i started to drive the van i quickly saw the gauge move and in no time at all i was below 3/4 of a tank. this was a brand new van only 497 miles on it when i picked it up. so i express my concerns to "management" at the shop, who people skills as a manager sucked beyond believe, all she would say is that "you agreed it was full". i did.....but tell me how i had a full tank when i picked it up, traveled only 42 miles, YET WHEN I FILLED IT UP IT TOOK 8 YES 8 GALLONS OF GAS. so what you are telling me is that a brand new chevy van only gets 5.2 miles to the gallon. BULLSHIT. will never go back again. i would believe the OWNER may have approached the issue differently. so as a business owner, be mindful of who you leave in charge, it reflects on you and your business. more than happy to talk to the owner if he would like to talk to me. i have been in business 25 years and have used that uhaul 2-3 times a year for 20 years....just disgusted with the lack of service from that particular manager. my suggestion....when you rent a van and they say it is full, go to the gas station and add gas and see if it is truly full.JOSEPH R.

The 20' truck had 110,000 miles. There were electrical issues. In addition, the transmission strained noisily even though it was a very light load (just a dining room set). Steering was vague and had considerable play. Tiring for a long drive. I do not consider this truck well maintained. The girl at the counter was excellent! I wanted to do mobile check-in and when I completed the check-in process on my phone and was standing by my truck just waiting for keys, another customer came over and said they had just been issued keys to the truck I was assigned. When I went inside to investigate, the employee that had just issued the other customer the truck was rude and making it seem like I did something wrong when all I did was follow the mobile check-in process. Another employee explained sometimes their computers do not receive the mobile check-ins (which made me wonder why they offer it at this location). We were held up for 10 minutes trying to pick up our truck and had to go through the check-in inside (which completely defeats the purpose of a mobile check-in). The second staff member we talked to was very helpful and she made sure we got a truck and all the other supplies we needed. The check engine light was on in our truck and we made them aware and they said not to worry about it, which seems unsafe to me. We only needed the truck for a few hours to move some things into a storage unit, but if we were using that truck to actually move, I would have refused to take it. Drop-off was easy and painless when we returned the truck.Ashley H.

Break booster on the truck is about shot. Mirrors turned around while driving. Tighten down with a hex head and only loosen up 3 miles later. Truck was very underpowered and worn out.Shawn B.

Returning trailer we rented went like NASCAR pit stop! Bing, Bam Boom and I was gone! Doesn't get any better than that!ARTHUR F.
The furniture pads were not included in the rental. I forgot to check, so we had to make an extra trip back to retrieve them. Also, the after hours checkout process did not work. It would not accept the photo we took of the odometer, even though it was entirely clear with the numbers fully in focus. Also, there was only one person working at the location, so there was a long wait time to pick up the truck. It would be better if there were a lock box or something to allow fully contactless pickup via the app.Denny D.
When I brought the truck back. The exit was horrible. I questioned the billed that had doubled? The attendant immediately accused me of saying he was trying to cheat me. I never said that and he didn't want to look at receipt. Another person returned me out. This was the first time I had a blow out argument with an employee at this U-Haul. It wasn't necessary and made the whole return ugly.ANGELA D.

The wall in unit 7004 needs to be repaired on the right hand side near the floor, the cement is falling off. Uhaul corporate needs to help Staff to know what exactly the size of each unit can hold. The young lady who opened my account looked on your site & tried to find the info out but it doesn't explain/identify that clearly. For example, a 10x15x6 unit can fit a one to two bedroom apartment/home?! Yes/No?! Or is appropriate for a one bedroom apartment? I ended up not using your facility because you couldn't tell me that and that was vital to knowing if my items could fit. That is a MAIN point of improvement and also it would be nice if you can let staff know what size can fit as noted above. I would have rated this higher. But I booked my storage a week before my move. Unloaded my stuff to find out my storage room 1018 has a lock on it. My stuff is sitting in the hallway waiting for the lock smith to show up he seems to be busy these days because it been almost 24 hours. Also I questioned why My Im being charged 10x10 rate while my storage is 8x8. I was told the price board was incorrect. It also seem that the website is incorrect too. Bottom line I've been overcharged for a storage room, while my expensive stuff sits in the hallway.James S. | First Impressions
