I hate the self check in. It takes too much time, the system sometimes need to be refreshed or need the help of staff who could've easily assisted me in timely fashion. Finding my truck is a wild goose chase. People staff are better that automated systems. I cant even ask questions to your automated system. Get rid of it, its a pain.

This location exceeded my expectations when compared to other locations I have rented from. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly, they did not wait for me to ask for help, but offered it when I looked lost, haha. I had to reschedule three different deliveries. When I was told I would be compensated with a free van due to the errors, I was double charged instead. Then I was charged for three months of a service that I did not need due to yet another error. Though my first experience in 2019 was easy and painless, this was so much more expensive and so much worse... and that doesn't even include the multiple charges. Really frustrating.

La persona que me atendió para alquilar el tráiler cuando fui a retirar las cosas en el stores, fue muy grosera no me quería atender porque yo no hablaba inglés, se ponía de mal genio porque no le entendía y tiraba las cosas, la empleada se llama Jazmín, había otra persona que si hablaba español y no decía nada hasta después de un buen rato nos atendió pero de mala gana. Personas como ellas no deberían estar en tan prestigiosa empresa , lastima , así no podría recomendarla.

Everything was great, just a little confusion at the beginning with the availability to fill the Ubox. I packed it the first day and when I drove the second day to finish organizing it, the Ubox was out to a Jamaica location to be sent out to the final destination. I was worried that all my things could be damaged, but was very happy that it arrived with no issues. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Of all the UHaul experiences I've had, this location by far was the BEST experience I've ever had, even when it came to purchasing apartment moving kits. Every staff that I encountered at this location was nice and helpful. The vehicle itself was the cleanest I've ever been in in my experiences with Uhauls. I could still see the soap suds from the deep cleaning--didn't know this was a thing until this location! All other locations always gave me such dirty vehicles, but this location... 10 stars.

The truck gas gauge didn't match the check out sheet, and when I went go adjust it your web site was a constant hourglass (waiting), so frustrating you give up. An Old truck with a CAB that had a heavy cigarette smell and the RADIO didn't work. The truck sucked. Passenger side door made a huge screech every time u opened it.

They told me I wouldn't be charged for the gas fee, since I refueled the tank, and yet I was charged for it. I went 29.5 miles and put about 4.5 gallons in, so unless I was getting less than 6.6 mpg, or my math is shit, then I shouldn't have needed to put in any more gas

I'm a recent but frequent customer. I'm not sure how to feel about this since it's not major but….It was just unnecessary. The general manager herself has brushed off my concern about being charged twice by stating that I haven't been charged……I'm lying?? I tried to show her my proof, she didn't even see it while showing her, I just didn't understand the attitude. It made no sense, everyone else there has been nice to me. The GM herself? I mean, I asked other questions about info I received from U-Haul workers, but why the automatic attitude and calling me a liar? Either way U-Haul has given me my funds back on the extra charge and I'm happy for that. Thank you very much.

My UBox was 51 days late and never even arrived to the location I reservedâ€"I had to drive to queens for it when it was supposed to be in new Rochelle. I recommend using PODS or a different moving company. Customer service was abysmal.

The equipment was clean, but the truck seemed a bit old and hard to maintain. While I was driving on the highway, the steering wheel felt very loose and it was a difficult to control my driving on the road. Luckily, I got to my new home safe and sound. FYI: Customer service at this location is on point. People are friendly and patient, a must in this business and life. Thank you Uhaul.

The employees at U-Haul should get more training. They literally changed my reservation 3x without my consent and told me i had to pick up my u-box an hr away without notifying me. Multiple times and I wasted hours dealing with all sorts of nonsense. U-Haul is probably the worst run operation I've ever dealt with and it's not even close

The location is convenient, however, it's location at tracks garbage from the service road which Is busy so the outside of the building is dirty and some of it blows into the main entrance making the appearance less desirable. Other than that it is average pricing and service.

Reserved a storage unit for a move from nc.to ny. Upon arrival I was told they no longer had it. Service at the customer desk was not good not inviting. They found it after 1 hr. of waiting. The facility was dirty. I requested no insurance on my stuff because they force me to have it. They said no flammables and you have people moving in flammables in front of everyone. You need to send a supervisor to this facility to see how it works. The people receiving the equipment were great. Very fast and helpful. Overall my great experience picking up the equipment made worthwhile after all.

Your customer service phone service was being extremely difficult when i tried to register for the storage unit online. I'm moved from Virginia to NY and arrived to NY after office hours to be complete my registration in person. I had to pay my movers an extra $250 in the truck overnight because they wouldn't let me get my storage unit Sunday night. I learned it from the help of people at the facility in Woodside that I could've completed my registration online when the guy on the phone said that its impossible. This is not right to not give a customer the right amount of information

Prior to keeping a storage unit with U-haul I was subject to petitory storage companies that would increase your rent every year taking advantage of the fact you'd probably not want to move out to another facility. U-haul however honored the rate I signed up with and did not increase my rent. Thank you for being fair! I will always keep U-haul in mind.

We have been to many UHAUL's and this was the best place ever to do business. Nate, was extremely helpful and the manager was also great. Staff actually smiled and seemed happy. Rare find at UHAUL today! We are coming from Long Island, and we have only had sub par experiences there.

They didn't have what I needed so I took what they had . The truck I rented the mirror moved so it was useless the door didn't lock correctly and the truck shaked way to much passed 40 mph. Oh and it would be useful if they tell you if the truck has a ramp cause I wasted alot of time bringing the truck I rented cause it had no ramp .

The alarm goes off every few minutes. It is ear-piercing and extremely annoying. Light goes off too often in the storage facilities. Besides that, everything else is fine.

The store manager Naasiha Matthews was incredible from the moment I walked in. I am currently disabled and unable to carry anything due to my crutches and she was kind enough to help me pick out my moving boxes not to mention put them in the car. That right there blew me away. Her whole team were amazing all working as a team together as a unit. I always enjoy bringing my business to that exact Uhaul location.

We drove a 15-foot truck from Florida. The size online for the unit we rented did not fit the recommendation and we ended up having to get another unit to store the remaining items. We had a long process of moving into our unit as the loading dock that was closer to the unit was blocked and were told we should have waited until the end of the month as that is the time it would be clear. As stressful as our day was, this comment really did not help as we had to move when we had to move. There was a lot of trash around and we were worried we would get blamed for it even though it was there prior to our move. The girls at the front desk, however, were amazing and did the best they could to help us get a second unit and work with us on processes and procedures to save us some money.
