Improve customer service. Specifically, James has very poor communication skills, both telephonically and in person. I have absolutely nothing positive to say about my interactions with him. I had to call for information regarding my rental and both times he was rude. The two face to face encounters were just as unpleasant. He could benefit from a class or two in customer service for sure. Will choose a different U-Haul next time because of James.

Even though Mr. Ites was very busy when I went in, he was extremely patient with one very difficult customer (who was very rude to him), and maintained his acknowledement of everyone else there at the time. He went over and above to make sure everyone knew he would be serving them soon. I am very pleased with my experience and i'll make sure and recommend his location to friends.

If same day rentals have a 4 or 6 hour limit then don’t allow the person booking to choose longer time limits. Or be more explicit and up front with details regardedIng rental length vs having them in fine print. James handled all issues well

When I did my return at 6PM Jim the manager was by far the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life. I had a 27' foot truck and wasn't certain where.ti park it. I saw a small car pull up and thought it was an employee so I knocked on the door. Apparently Jim the manager lives there and went off on me for knocking on the door that is part of the Uhaul facility... I had no idea and apologized numerous times but he wouldn't let it go and lectured me up and down about him living there. I was actually fearful for my safety and almost called foraw enforcement to intervene, that's how bad it was. I asked for his name and he told me he was "Jim the manager" and to include it in my review. I have NEVER been treated so badly. I was a law enforcement officer for 20 years and in my opinion this guy is a ticking timebomb ready to go off! U-haul needs to do something with him.

All was good. I had pretty much given up on UHaul with my last experience that was at the 1960 location. That location had/has an issue with integrity. This location was totally the opposite. James and his ladies were great. They should go to the 1960 location and teach that guy a customer service and tell the truth class.

I had no problems at all with the location; however, when I arrived and began the check in process with your online service I was booted out of the system and given a message that said, “there was an error on our end; we’re fixing it. Please try again later.” So that’s what I did.... I waited a few minutes, then I tried again; but this time when I tried to check in it only gave me the option to “return my truck” and I hadn’t even began the process to get the keys... so I tried to chat with someone through your online service but no one responded... So I then called customer service since my reservation was at 7pm after the location was already closed, and I was placed on hold for up to 30 minutes. I had to be to rooms to go by 8:30pm to pick up my furniture and it was now getting very close to 8pm. Thankfully, JAMES came out of the office (after office hours) and assisted me PROMPTLY! He got me the keys and got me out of there with just enough time for me to get to the store to get my belongings while I was still on hold with customer service... no thanks to anyone but James for helping me. Had he not been there I would have had to get a bigger truck than I needed and would have had to pay more money than anticipated. Even though James saved me with the truck, I requested an appliance dolly in which I was charged for, however there was no dolly in the truck at all, and this was the second time I paid for a dolly that I did not receive. I want a refund for the two Dollies I paid for and I would also appreciate some type of compensation for your companies lack of professionalism in this situation. I would also like for James to be praised by your company for his amazing customer service. I expect to hear back from a representative ASAP with a description of how James and I will be compensated. Instructions for online check-in and pick up were confusing. Was asked to wait in line even when instructions said 'dont wait in line'. Perhaps staff needs to be trained that customers checking online are expecting otherwise.

Tag this location as not being Express. I paid in advance online thinking it was a App pickup and it was not allowed. Owner is a little condescending but helpful. RECOMMENDATION: If a customer advise they don't want insurance, no story is required by store manager/owner about another customer bad experience of an accident in your truck to force getting insurance. Overpriced (owner required the insurance that I declined online) Truck smelled of urine I signed that the gas was full but actually was not. Returned it with more gas than I received I rented a furniture dolly and the owner placed it in the back on its wheels. Every time we stopped it crashed against my seat and scared the shut out of me. Owner had every ding/dent marked with a sharpie before we left (had to add 6 x marks) realized quickly not to trust this facility Drop off took too long Way overpriced....should have paid my neighbor to move my chair..... Actual office smelled of mold...I have a mold allergy

The condition of the equipment was above average. However, the manager on duty was not very friendly and a bit gruff. He did warm up over time. However, it was not a great experience. He did do a great job documenting and making sure equipment was in good order. With a few tweaks to customer service I’d be able to recommend this location to a friend.

These are the sweetest, kindest people I've ever meet, I was having a hard time, losing everything my dead son sisters and my mother's things, It broke my heart. They gave me all of my belongings.

Truck has so many dents and dings, that the walk around inspection would’ve taken forever to complete. Instead of wasting my time doing this, I made the decision to purchase the insurance, so I could avoid the hassle of said inspection and the possibility of being harassed at the time of return, should I have not marked/notated every single dent on the truck. Bad business practice for sure.

The Ites, who run this location, we're so helpful and gracious towards us! I brought the van I rented later than I was supposed to, I borrowed it overnight, and they didn't charge me anything other than the regular fees we'd agreed on!

The gentleman that helped was very rude. He called me on the phone stating I need to return the truck to him. When I was rented the truck I was told I could return the truck to wherever I wanted to. Because I’m kind and understanding. I returns it to him. It had been raining so unloading set me back by about two hours. I fueled up the truck before I return it to him. I was charged for my tank not being full. Which I know it was full. Because I topped it off 47$ it just before I dropped it off. He was uncaring, I wish I could say this I’m going to say it he was an jackass! On the other hand the other customers were helpful and kind.

I need someone to call me. I was over charged and James at the location was no help. He billed.me for 2 days and I should have been charged for a 24hr in town rental. James changed my reservation to a one way out of town so he could profit more. This messed up my movers who could not do one ways. Call me. Theft ! I was rubbed ! Someone broke into my car and U-haul did exactly nothing about it ! Although I had an insurance they told me that the insurance (Which costs $120) would not cover anything!
