donna W.While driving we noticed several roaches. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, they refused to give me a discount stating they didn't know where they came from. Well , as I hadn't picked anything up- they sure as heck didn't come from me. My daughter killed 3 while we were driving. I feel I deserve a discount because I literally drove with my left leg held straight out so one wouldn't crawl on me.

Carl K.There was a lot of confusion at the counter, the person providing service at the counter kept stating they “didn't know how to complete certain actions in the computer because they normally only work in storageâ€. Completed everything online and was supposed to have been a truck share pickup instead had to go to counter because the “truck we were supposed to have hadn't returned†and there was continual chatter as to whether or not to file a report with police as stolen. As a result the whole process had to be completed again at the counter including uploading pictures, literally everything. This took about 30-minutes into what should have been our rental time. Requested a 24 hour rental-but somehow defaulted to 12 hour which resulted in a 2 AM return time. Once everything was completed we we're getting hurried to move away from counter so the line of people could be moved. The contract was highlighted ONLY for the gas/mileage, there was no mention or highlighting of adjusted return time. I get woken up in am by texts saying truck is overdue and threat of late fees… when I'm thinking it's not due until 2pm. I felt berated by the employer on the phone that argued to say that I “should have known because the contract was highlighted to indicate the return timeâ€. Well it wasn't and I'm happy to show the document. Had the employee known what they were doing, not been in such a hurry to get us away from the counter and/or reviewed the “return time†literally at ANY TIME in the 30-minute conversation we would have noticed and canceled the transaction. We were not able to use the truck as planned-paid essentially for nothing. If people are not effectively cross-trained please don't put them at the counter-it was an absolute cluster of chaos around this individual that took a lot of time I didn't have and proved to be a very frustrating experience.

When I saw that, I should have went back into the store. Before I took the truck back to the store I fill the truck up with gas. And because I didn't respond to the email. They charged me over $15 plus.

Luther J.Contact the UBox renter when the boxes arrive at the location so delivery arrangements can be made. My boxes arrived on the 15th but I wasn't notified so I had to wait an extra week to get my item delivered.
Janet A.the steering on the truck was very sloppy and needed to be corrected the steering wheel pulled hard to the right so it is way off. The truck leaked gas when you filled it spilling gas under the truck onto the ground, it seems someone had cut the fill hose to the tank. We called and informed them of the problem and when we returned the truck we told them again. This is the second time a truck we rented has had this problem. Maybe UHaul needs to put a protective cage over these fill hoses to keep people from trying to steal the gas?

Samuel S.The only 2 problems I would be concerned with are 1) hold times when you have to call, I called and was put on hold so I stayed on hold and drove down to the facility while still on hold. Upon arrival 2 clerks were helping customers but one was at the last station doing paperwork. I hung up the phone when it was my turn, I was still on hold. 2) Employee communication. I cleaned out my unit, cleaned the empty unit and went to the office to check out of my unit. By the time I got home I had a text message and 2 voice mails asking me to contact the office because my unit was empty and the lock was missing. When I was able to get them on the phone I told them I had moved out , I had gone in and notified them about 1 hour ago.vi was told they would check their records and email me my close out receipt. So. Thanks.

MICHAEL B.My reservation was changed to this location and I have still not received the $50 for the reservation guarantee. I was not told that the truck would not be available at the initial location until I was already dropped off. This location added an additional 20 miles to my trip and I was only credited for 15 miles. Poor communication and poor customer service. I should have at the very least been notified of the change prior to me being dropped off at the initial location.

aaron G.I was given 2 broken trailers, finally the third trailer was working properly, then I got billed for three trailers instead of one. Then to make matters worse an employee in Canada erroneously added charges to my a count. I know that sounds crazy but I got billed 770 , then 1000, then 365. My debit cards were locked up for fraud alerts by my bank. It was a terrible experience.

jason H.The truck rental states 19.95, on my return I was charged 89.95. I was told on return that when you go over 100 miles the charge changes. When asked why I was not informed when I rented the truck, all kinds of excuses. I would advise anyone to boycott U-Haul! If I could rate them zero I would.

I'd issues from the very beginning and if I could've moved my services I would've but I did everything online and therefore was obligated to stay. The storage unit was extremely small compared to Public storage and when I asked to upgrade to a larger unit; I was advised they didn't have any available but the unit directly across from mine which was larger was vacant. The code to get into the storage area never worked for my unit but when I went to the other side my code worked which is where the facility is non secure. The manager has her boyfriend working at the facility, who brought his younger brother to work which the younger brother shared with me that he had been there 3 months at the time but he didn't know a thing about his job description. When I'd asked him about my code which wasn't working and if he could give me a ride back over to the office after walking over there twice before he stated that he wasn't certain if he could give me a ride and didn't know what to do about my code. Overall, don't utilize this storage facility avoid the huge headache. Run!!

Recently we had our trailer broke into and when I told management about it she seemed like she didn't care and was quick to try to get off the phone. If they provided better security we would have stayed as a customer. We were one of the first to move in there when they opened. Prices have increased significantly but security of our unit was the reason we are no longer a customer. Our trailer was not the only one broke into during this time, there were several next to ours.
