Veh outside lots of dead bugs, should have been washed off...inside of truck dirty. The drivers seat needs to be redone, as there is lack of support...they should go air ride, as my back was so sore after just 2 days of driving and I springs need replacing due to the number of drivers making them compressed...as a not overly tall person, it sucked!!! When I arrived for my scheduled 10:00am pick up, which I pre-registered for, the app told me to look for the truck in the lot then select found the truck, which I did successfully. Then it told me to go get the keys where I found out the truck was being serviced and not available. I had been given the $50 guarantee and a choice to wait for another truck to come in or to drive to winterburn another 7.4 km away. Essentially this was insulting as the additional 14.8 km plus gas chipped away from feeling good about the guarantee. Not to mention the two people who couldn't wait for me to arrive at our move site since I was 1 1/2 hours late getting there.Allan T.

When I pick up the truck the lady working in the morning was late opening the store, and then she was so rude and ignorant. The truck was filthy inside and looked like it had never been cleaned. Dropping off the truck nobody was inside when I went in and had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to come inside. If I ever rent a truck again it will not be from this location. Vehicle booked as mobile check in. Unit would not start. Very disappointing as this delayed my day, having to go inside, wait in line for assistance and get another unit set up. Your staff may need to do vehicle checks in between clients. The half-ton i cam to pick up, had the "change oil soon" notice on. Desk clerk dismissed it this until i mentioned that the oil viscosity level was reading "Zero" and i would like it checked in case the engine failed during my use. As it turns out he relented and ask the mechanic to check the oil. When she checked the oil it needed a quart and half to bring it up to full. Desk staff need training - listen and not just hear your customers. as this could have been a very bad rating. Otherwise the vehicle was in good condition and the exchange was seamless.Julian B.

My 2 concerns were a 2 concerns were that I Reserve that trailer early August and when it was time for pick up I had to go all the way to the other end of the city to pick it up to pick it up. My next concern is I did drop the trailer off early by 2 days and there was no kind of a rebate for for returning it early.Terry W.

U bins where sent to Winterburn and there was a paint spill in one. My fault. I was called by Nicole and told I had to get down there and transfer things in a new box. I rented a truck instead and said I would move the things from it to my home. Upon getting there to pick up th truck I told her I would be moving stuff. She never gave instructions where box was or anything then left us standing there for 2 hours because she was bust waxing the floor because higher ups where coming Even when someone was sent to get her with my phone call she refused it as she was busy. The staff and service itself were great. Just the facility the layout is a bit poor with the parking lot. There's dolly's to use for your stuff except no flat surface to roll them off the sidewalk to your car. The lot doesn't have much parking as it's crowded with Uhaul trucks and a Genie lift taking up all the spots. You're trying to use the single elevator where you might be wheeling in multiple dollys and carrying heavy things and it's set with a quick door close timer and an alarm if you try to hold it open.Keegan E. | Overall Experience

very unorganized Nicole the manager was argumentative, abrupt and unaccommodating. Qualities not becoming for a person in her position. There was a lot of damage that was not marked down and it was obvious that the damages had been there a long time. I was in a situation of uncertainty about my house and belongings with me working out of the country. I chose your storage facility and everything went well. My payments were taken out on my credit card and everything was smooth. Any problems were my own problems. I planned on the storage to be only a short time until I had more definite plans. Before I could return, Covid came along. Travel was next to impossible then my credit card expired. I called my bank as I am working in Cambodia, and they immediately forwarded a new credit card to me in Cambodia. That should have been ok as the number on the card would be the same. But, that was too easy. The card never made it to me. Therefore they couriered out a new card but this time with a new number. Meaning my payments could not be made on my credit card. I had to get someone to pay cash. But soon I will be back in Canada making decisions. It may come to the point where I may be back at your doorstep needing storage again. Was happy with my experience up until the last two months. I had purchased a year rental package and was due to move out in March of 2022. I started to receive emails in Jan that I had a payment due. I had already prepaid so I didn't pay much attention. They I started to get "Pre-Lein" letters and every 2 weeks, penalty charges were added to my file. I called multiple staff who said they would clear it up for me. It didn't happen as I kept getting notified. I finally spoke to the female manager there and she said to ignore those and it would be cleared up. I went this weekend to get my stuff and my code didn't work anymore AND there was a double lock on my unit and my account was still deliquent!!?? What a frustrating ending to my experience with this location. I won't be doing business with them again nor would I recommend them. When staff stays they a re going to take care of things, they should. When a manager says they are going to take care of things, they better!! So upsetting.Karen M. | Overall Experience
This facility only does walkabouts every two days. My storage unit was broken into and everything I had was stolen. Over $7500 stolen and Uhaul did nothing. They refused to offer me any consolation or any reimbursement. All they offered was two months free rental. This is the worst facility ever with absolutely the worst customer service. Arrived as instructed to find the gate inaccessible. Was eventually informed after 30 mins of wasted time that the gate was frozen and no one was sure when it would be fixed. After waiting another 20 mins to see if the issue could be resolved I went home and resorted to calling every half hour or so to see if I could move in. After about 2 hours the problem was resolved. It had 3 inches of ice from door to door in the spring. The door was falling off the track for 3 years and never fixed. Security is a joke with numerous break-ins including an attempted theft of my cargo trailer. I was told the security cameras don't cover that area. Experience was generally good, but there were a few hiccups: - my storage unit was not cleaned out from the previous tenant and I had to move a lot of stuff outside of the unit (including rotting food) and clean the floor (with what I could find in the previous tenants stuff) before moving my stuff in. - I couldn't get a hold of the office staff to tell them about the above; they put me on a long hold. I did tell them about it later, however when I came in for another thing. - I had a hard time finding the exit/sign out kiosk the first timenI was there and had to search for it for about 10 minutes. Stored our belongings to this facility. Not even 3 days our storage got burglarized. It happened in the early morning on a Saturday and they called us to let us know that it's been ransacked at around 6pm. You guys should invest in good lighting, wireless cameras (yes! I was asked how long the stay would be, I said 4 months, and they noted it down. I later discovered I had been charged for a 5th month despite having been moved out for a full month, and when I called in they told me that when they asked that, it was just a question and they didn't actually do anything with the information, and that I will keep being charged until I notify them I'm out. There are some great staff there that help you in the best way they can, then there are some other ones who are clearly overworked and not impressed to be there and it shows with their ability to provide even acceptable customer service. Paid for 24 hour access and on multiple occasions was unable to get in to my unit l, and the phone call into the store was unsuccessful just to be told "well it should work". I had to go into the office a few days later before I could gain access to my unit. Trying to phone in to speak with anyone is next to impossible and on a few different occasions I waited on hold for 45 mins to be told to hold again, and if you have have issue when you get to the counter when you go into the store expect to get a snarl if it's not one of the guys that are working. I would absolutely not recommend storage solutions from this uhaul facility!! Trailer and truck rental services are decent if you do all the self check in and return on your phone.Natasha H. | Overall Experience
Tried to move in on move in date. Storage unit was locked. And they didn't give me the proper access code for the gate so I couldn't move in since no one was at the facility. I had to wait till the next day. Also the free lock wasn't in the unit. Had to stand in line for 2 hours just to see a staff member for the lock. The one staff memeber kept leaving the the till to go somewhere else. Finally the manager came back with one other employee and the line moved quicker. The manager at the store was also 10 minutes late while there was a line forming at the front door so the store wasn't even open until 9:15. I was done moving in at 9:30 but since I didn't have my lock I didn't leave until 11:00. Worst experience I've ever had and all they offered me was a free one month 24 hour service.
