I have used uhaul a lot within the last few months. From renting two vehicles and renting a storage unit. Not enough staff and always waiting. Staff giving the wrong information regarding storage units. I will never recommend uhaul Winterburn in Edmonton. When you’re in the business with customers. You do what you can. Worst experience ever.

Have truck filled with gas. Trying to fill a tank to level picked up at is not easy. Believe I put in an additional $5 before gas gauge needle reach required level. Once I filled up the needle was quite a bit over the amount I needed to put in.

First my 15 ft that I had reserved was no longer available for the time I needed, so had to upgrade to a 26 ft. Engine light on before I even left the parking lot. No windshield washer liquid and the gas tank at 1/16. Tires were so bald that i kept getting stuck all over the place, when I contact the office, was told I should get a towing at my cost. Cost me 147.00 for towing and an extra 3 hours pay for the movers. The towing driver could not believe that this vehicle was allow to leave the U-Haul yard under these conditions.

I went through your website again and could not find anywhere in the rental information where it said the trailer had a 4 pin wiring harness. When i went to pick up my trailer I had to unhook it and go get a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter before i could leave. the problem could have easily been avoided if I had known ahead of time that the trailer was 4 pin.

When your one employee tells me I may get prorated mileage because I was using the pick up to get to work when enterprise was out of vehicles, and then the next day the other guy charges me the full 50 cents a km. To and from work twice adds up. Enterprise would have been half as much

Honestly I don't think that the service is in need of any improvement. All of the staff members have been awesomely helpful and have gone above and beyond the expectations. I had been assisted by two of the female staff and three of the male staff and they were all very pleasant and provide great customer service, genuinely helpful and made the it feel like I was a valued customer and not just another person in line. I had one lady touch base with me the following day and made sure my experience was good and if I was going to need anything more as we had discussed previously, I was really surprised and happy to see that it was important enough for the follow up. The one Male staff member even stayed a couple mins after the end of his stift to accommodate me as I was a bit behind on my return to the facility, definitely didn't expect that either and was a big help to me that he did. Overall I am very very satisfied and I would recommend this facility to anyone and everyone 100%. Thank you all for your help and I definitely will be returning and letting my family and friends know that this is the best place to go. ????????????????

The return process was unclear and confusing at the Winterburn West Edmonton office. I returned the truck on Friday Jan 3rd @ 4:10pm and parked it in the designated location for returns. It was apparent that nobody was in office or around for 15+ minutes. Phone was ringing several times. Eventually, somebody arrived in a pickup and took my key. It was unclear what next steps I had to take next and when I prompted the person who took the keys he said I was "good to go" as we exited the building.

I ordered this rental well before needing it, for a 26ft truck and a tow dolly. I was given the go ahead that it was available at the Spruce Grove location. The day before I was called an told I had to drive 20 minutes to get the truck then and 40 to got to Fort Saskatchewan for the Dolly. In having to do so, I had to also return to the first store to retrieve my vehicle. I was originally quited 338 dollars for the tow and paid 367 instead for the luxury of having to waste 4 hours of my day and spend and extra 65 dollars on fuel unnecessarily, Then I had to pay for going over the alloted mileage allowed. Given the timeframe from booking to first contact, it seems ridiculous that there is no option to have these items delivered, even for a small fee. As well that I could have pucked up both items first thing from one store but their 26ft trucks had to be returned to that exact location after use. Seems like a scam to make you pay for more needlessly.

Accuracy of the reservation left to be desired. Rented the unit for a total of 3 days, and was called the next day to inquire about the return that was thought to have been at 11:00. Returning the unit could not be completed as the unit was booked in the system to me for a total of 1441 days. Small items but adds to the customer wait time.

I booked a moving van a month before we were to move out.. for three days. It was available for all three days. I got a call a day later saying we could only have it for 8 hours. How stupid.

Service from U Haul was not impressive. First my name was misspelled, due to this, the UHaul box was late, however delivered after numerous phone calls, the pick up was unprofessional.

I have used several storage facilities over the past 15 years. This one was the worst by far. Unit was advertised as 5' x 10'. It was just under 4' wide. False advertising! I expect compensation!
