The only problem I had was with the online booking. Originally booked at 51 ave location only to have it moved to the 50 th street location. The booking agent that phoned to confirm never mentioned he was at a different store than the one I booked at. It took almost 20 minutes on your 800 number to fix the problem.Stephen B.

It had 3 inches of ice from door to door in the spring. The door was falling off the track for 3 years and never fixed. Security is a joke with numerous break-ins including an attempted theft of my cargo trailer. I was told the security cameras don't cover that area. Uhaul trailer was full of snow, nothing I booked was available. Had to make a second trip to get the blankets and furniture dolly. Dropped off trailer and I was unable to get my deposit back since apparently the debit was down. Just the worst Uhaul I've ever been too. No one could find the rentals, was just a gong show. I picked the uhaul up on November 13, 2021 It was pretty dirty inside but not a big deal. It ran horribly, sounding it's not running the best. Driving it was a bit scary because the tires were not good. After putting $250.00 of fuel in it, when I left the tank was full. When I picked it up it had just under a quarter tank. As I drove on the way to Grande Prairie I noticed the gas meter needle was not moving. Then about half way to Grande Prairie the gas meter needle had went up like way past over full. I returned the uhaul clean at cold shot in Grande Prairie at 3:30pm on November 15, 2021 and the guy that worked there seemed like he doesn't know anything. I told him I paid a deposit so will need that back. He asked if I wanted to come back tomorrow for that. I said no I need it today. So he went and looked at the truck with me present and I showed him how the gas tank needle was way over full. He kept saying it's full and I told him it's not but I put way to much gas in and would like a portion back for the extra fuel but needed to know how much was in there. He didn't care or seem to know what to do so I got him to take a copy of my fuel receipt and told him I'd contact uhaul customer service. He refunded me my deposit for the truck and I left. I understand if I bring the truck back less then what I got it with in fuel I would be charged so it should be the same for the customer if there is too much fuel I should be credited (especially) considering the gas meter is NOT working. Can someone from customer service please call me at your earliest convenience I'd really appreciate it. I am a single parent and currently temporarily not employed due to health issues. When we first arrived, someone who worked there came and started yelling and arguing with the people working with customers. The people working the front desk tried to deescalate the situation. Everyone was pleasent with us but it felt like such an unprofessional environment. This was our first time using a UHaul so we had questions and we were told to just watch the YouTube videos. It felt like they didn't really care about us as customers, they just wanted us gone.Kelsey M.

I rented 3 large trucks over a period of 5 days. Each time the staff was VERY helpful and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend this location. Nicole and her staff are great people!Lewis V.
This locations service was great and better than other places I've been to. My only recommendation is that the gas Frank START full and the customer is responsible for returning it full. We only got a quarter tank and a fuel credit of $44. We were worried about running out of gas so we put in more money than the fuel creditShane D.
Our experience was not a positive one. After paying up front for our full 6 day booking upon return of the truck the teller tried to make us repay for the 6 days again; saying we returned it 6 days late so it was late fees. The booking was clearly for 6 days and instead of being helpful and trying to remedy the situation the teller argued that we owed Uhaul money still, when in fact we were there to obtain our refund of $150 deposit. Only once we requested to speak to a manager was any help even offered. What should have taken 5 minutes was a 20min+ fight to not be charged another $750! The truck was also very scary to drive, any speed over 40kmh the truck was shaking and making noise. It did not feel safe and thank God we only had to drive it 48 km. We are lucky nothing inside the truck broke as it was such a rough drive: the engine clearly needs a looking into.Jesse L.
nothing wrong with any of the 2 depos i picked up from or the one that i dropped off at. but my comment is i reserved this pick up location and drop off location 2 weeks in advance.both pick up and drop off facilities were good but uhaul changed my drop off location 3 times each time getting further from my return home place. fuel is expensive and went way out of my way with the uhaul truck and my personal truck costing me lots extra for fuel as i had to backtrac so much distanceLaurie D.

I had a hitch installed on a VW Jetta. What a disaster and never again. I dropped the car off at 8am and was told ready in 4 hrs. I called after 5 hrs and was told another 45 mins. So I went for lunch and showed up 1 1/2 hrs later. When I showed up a couple of people were trying to route the wiring beside the exhaust and turbo charger. I told them to stop, I would do the wiring. The stair the employee was standing on put a big scratch in my bumper and broke one of my tail lights. Plus they sent me away thinking my all my lights were working. I had to buy tail light lense and bulbs. The branch I went to in Edmonton, AB on Stony Plain Rd has no business doing this kind of installation. NONE! I would not recommend to anyone.Kenneth D.

When I dropped the trailer off after hours, the online drop off confirmation page would not work. I attempted to login for 30 minutes with no luck. Which was frustrating, to say the least. 1) Explain that I'm not getting charged when I take it, that happens when I bring it back. 2) Explain that if it's after hours when I bring it back, I can just leave it and go to the website to finalize and pay. Experience was generally good, but there were a few hiccups: - my storage unit was not cleaned out from the previous tenant and I had to move a lot of stuff outside of the unit (including rotting food) and clean the floor (with what I could find in the previous tenants stuff) before moving my stuff in. - I couldn't get a hold of the office staff to tell them about the above; they put me on a long hold. I did tell them about it later, however when I came in for another thing. - I had a hard time finding the exit/sign out kiosk the first timenI was there and had to search for it for about 10 minutes. Stored our belongings to this facility. Not even 3 days our storage got burglarized. It happened in the early morning on a Saturday and they called us to let us know that it's been ransacked at around 6pm. You guys should invest in good lighting, wireless cameras (yes! I was asked how long the stay would be, I said 4 months, and they noted it down. I later discovered I had been charged for a 5th month despite having been moved out for a full month, and when I called in they told me that when they asked that, it was just a question and they didn't actually do anything with the information, and that I will keep being charged until I notify them I'm out. Why ask how long I'm gonna stay, make it seem like that information is being taken into account while we draft the agreement, and obscure that asking me that had no purpose and only misled me into thinking I was on a set amount of time?Garon B. | Overall Experience

Tried to move in on move in date. Storage unit was locked. And they didn't give me the proper access code for the gate so I couldn't move in since no one was at the facility. I had to wait till the next day. Also the free lock wasn't in the unit. Had to stand in line for 2 hours just to see a staff member for the lock. The one staff memeber kept leaving the the till to go somewhere else. Finally the manager came back with one other employee and the line moved quicker. The manager at the store was also 10 minutes late while there was a line forming at the front door so the store wasn't even open until 9:15. I was done moving in at 9:30 but since I didn't have my lock I didn't leave until 11:00. Worst experience I've ever had and all they offered me was a free one month 24 hour service.
