Make sure I don't lose my reservation I went to several U-Hauls before and they lost my reservation.. The staff at this U-Haul store was very friendly and courteous and very patient with me. Especially ..(Sam./sale Rep.) He carried out his job to the letter and made sure ....I had everything I needed before I left the store

Provide instruction on adjusting side mirrors. I had to go on the web to discover you have to use an Allen wrench to adjust them. Without doing so I'd have been blind on the passenger side mirrors.

I reserved a 5'X8' open trailer and an appliance dolly from Delaware Equipment Rental. This reservation was moved to Appliance & Mattress Outlet that did not have the Appliance Dolly. I contacted U-Haul and was told to go to U-Haul Moving and Storage of Wilmington. This location did not have an appliance dolly so they rented me with a broken utility dolly, not an appliance dolly. This move the move nearly impossible.

First, I would like to thank Tammy for assuring that our Uhual Box and truck was ready when we arrived. She always took the time to communicate with me and provided assurances which I greatly appreciated! Working with the general public is not an easy task, as I know so well, but there are two Uhaul customers service agents who did everything in their power to make sure we were taken care of, Steven Bradley and Justin. Both are a valuable assets to your company. I am praying that my daughter will not have to move any time so….but if she does I hope we receive the same care and service we received the last two experiences (moved her twice in two months). The trucks were parked so close together it was almost impossible to inspect the vehicles. The storage area was INFESTED with ROACHES!!! I did not notice until I had it half packed. I had no choice but to finish packing and finish my move. I was totally stuck and screwed. When I returned the truck the agent told me it was the second one this week that had roaches!!!! Completely unacceptable!!!

The location itself was fine, but the experience was less than ideal. I reserved a UHaul for 24/7 pick-up, since I was picking it up at 5pm when the store closed. I completed the entire online app sign in, which took longer than anticipated as it asked me to upload a photo of my drivers license six times and also wouldn't take my two additional contact people. When I FINALLY managed to get checked in, instead of directing me to one of the outside lockboxes, it told me to go inside to the counter to pick up my key, which was impossible....as the store was already closed. I tried to contact someone through the app and called the customer service number. After 20 minutes on hold, I finally got ahold of an agent that lined me up with another vehicle that actually had a key in an outside box. It took five different passcodes tried to finally get the key out and I was finally able to get on the road almost an hour after I was actually scheduled to pick up my van. It was incredibly stressful.

In the beginning, Steve was tremendous helping me reserve and sign up for a 6x12 trailer. And he expertly and professionally hooked up and tested the trailer, and I was on my way. Whole process took 15 minutes. Then when I returned it, Jameer was super polite and very quickly removed and inspected the trailer, declining any help from me. Steve even remembered my name and said hello as he walked by. Very polite, knowledgeable and professional staff at this Uhaul establishment. I will definitely rent from again and refer to a friend.

I don't like the options for the second question above. Perfect or not seems like a tough criteria. The truck was cleaned well except someone missed the cup holders, which needed a good wipe to remove sticky residue. Also, the ignition lock on the steering shaft was faulty, which made starting the truck every time very difficult. Otherwise the truck performed well. Mobile pickup worked well at the location.

When returning the vehicle the agent name Justin was very rude walking through the office cussing where I could hear him. After waiting to returning the keys he says to me just drop them off and you can go, I told him no I need a Receipt, at that point he tells me to get out of line that I would have to wait while he works with other customers and I told him I would not that I was in line first and that is not good customers service. Justin then said are you Serious and I said yes, at that point he says I am over this shit. Justin brings back my Receipt and I said thank you. Once I got to my car I was looking over the chargers and my husband said they Charge us for an extra day and gas, so we go back in and I get back in line to wait to show him we were over charged. Well we got to the counter and showed him the Perceive where the extra charges happen and told him that he needs to fixed his mistake, at that point he started yelling at me that he could not and then called my husband my Muscle like we were trying to cause an issue when asking to adjust the charges. At that point he gave me a 1-800 number and told me I would need to call it in to get it fixed because his GM was not there and he couldn't do and he did not have time for my shit. I told him that they need to fix their mistake that I shouldn't have to call 1-800 to fix it. At that point his co-worker Nora Apologized for the way he handle my issues and she would see what she could do. Well she called it in but at this time it is still not fixed. After how myself and my husband's was treated I will never return back to that office again.

The facility was great but the van was a little “slippery“ in the handling- with good road conditions. Several times I felt as if I was momentarily losing control or unexpectedly drifting at the speed limit on a straight highway. I'd hate to have to drive it in the snow or rain.

your website logic needs work. 1. booked a truck at a separate site with helping hands labor for unloading the night before. Accepted payment and received no errors with this step 2. the helping hands labor called me back and said this was a recurring problem with uhaul double booking them. They had no capacity that afternoon to work with me, despite uhaul booking the appointment. I had to cancel them and book another crew 3. On the day of rental, the site I had booked the truck from was closed. The reservation from the truck had been cancelled. I called in to the 1-800 number and spoke with Theresa Luschinski, who told me the truck there was not rentable. Luckily she was able to divert me to another facility that had trucks which was 5 minutes away 4. at the second site now to pick up my truck. The truck they gave me had a check engine light on. Had to go back and get them to give me second truck, this one did not have any alert lights on 5. the truck that I received had all of its shocks/struts blown. It was as if there were no spring suspension at all. Very rough ride.

Look, it was an expensive rental as it was, with close to 200 miles of driving charged at 1.25/hour, but to charge me an extra $12 on top of that for 2 gallons of gas because the guahe read a hair over a quarter and I brought it back at a quarter is just rude. I certainly won't use this location again or recommend it to anyone else.

My Fri July 8 reservation wasn't there when I went to pick up. Customer service said they called to tell me it changed to a different location 10 miles away. My ride had already left so I had to wait for another. When I arrived the door was locked and I canceled. Luckily I was able to rent but for only 5 hrs. I missed time at work Fri for nothing leaving early, did not have help to move Saturday because they came to help Friday, missed another event scheduled for Saturday. And where is my $50 you show online for "g7aranteed

I arrived at the facility with a full U haul 26 foot load one way rental. I was informed on arrival that just because I had a reservation it did not mean I had a reservation and no storage units were available. I encountered significant penalties having to find other storage units and U haul then hit me with fees for late drop off and over mileage. My intent is to pursue court action for breach of contract and recovery of costs .

The facility was over run with mice & other rodents. I came in one night & something big & furry ran into a broken unit. All of my things were covered in mice droppings. My bags & boxes were eaten open by rodents. Dead mice were in the hallways as well as flies. This isn't the 1st time either. I've used them three times & each time was reassured the problem was under control but it wasn't. I only used them 4 the price but I paid the real price.

Sorry doir to access out unit was hard to open n rigged and the employees were aware n tried to tell me how to access it broken , they called thinking we exited ( saying Mayby they put us in wrong unit) when employees took me to unit because of broken door. When calling still no one knew if our things were safe or stolen . Won't store here again , yet Ellie's Teklu was most kindest sweet professional when I originally encountered this facility . But after that all down hill

I occurred more debt having to keep vehicle a second day due to storage not being cleaned out had to wait for worker in the rain until he was able to get things open... didnt get tarp I request. Most of my thing were wet k had to purchase boxes twice and move my things in alone because the movers wont move wet things into storage because the didnt want the liability of my things if damaged...smh this is awful.

The staff was great and helpful. The grounds and facilities were not clean. Parking is a challenge,, especially on weekends. There was clear evidence of rodent infestation in our unit.

Order # 21072822. Charged an extra $181.44 for no reason. I already paid $1316 for two Uboxes. The Wilmington store charged me extra 1 month storage and it took them 15 days to get my UBoxes.
