the lady at the front desk Kara is not professional in dealing with frustrated customers. She put me on hold and never came back to check on me until I showed up to the store and she was doing nothing not helping a customer or anything she just didnt want to help resolve my issue and left me on hold. I did speak with the manager after all that and he did resolve the issue. But they need better people on the phone or train the ones you have and really evaluate performance.Kiosha T.
Manager and employee didn't know how to process a trailer rental. Took over 40 minutes and several edits to the rental contract before they got it right (even though I had reserved it online and had checked in online). They tried to sneak in coverage into my contract even though I declined it online and when I brought it up, the GM said "just take it, we'll fix it tomorrow when you return", but I know he's not going to refund me for coverage after the fact. So I insisted that be addressed beforehand so that we can have an accurate contract, he was very annoyed to fix this and to do his job properly.Xavier G.

Charged me 30 dollars for fuel even though I left it with more fuel than when I picked up the truck. The guy at facility in Plano just told me to drop off the keys and stuck me with fuel charge. As a matter of principle I called the location several times. Each time I was put on hold for 10 minutes or longer. I am a doctor. I don't need the $30. It is a matter of principle. Finally the guy who answered the phone told me nothing could be done. I am going to dispute these charges with my credit card company. It is not a question of the meagre amount. It's a question of principles and service. I will never use U-Haul again. I may even considered legal action since I may not be the only person who is being overcharged. I have the fuel receipt, we can calculate the miles I drove and easily figure out the overcharge. I will not let this rest.Ahmad R.

I returned the truck with MORE fuel than what was in it when I got it, but I was charged a fuel fee. Last time I rented, I got a truck with a dirty interior (crumbs and bits of trash on the floorboard) plus one tire was dangerously low on air, and I had to come back and get that aired up before I left on my trip. I returned that truck cleaner than when I got it, but because I said it needed to be cleaned on my return assessment, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I'm tired of U-Haul finding ways to nickel and dime their customers for extra fees, so I'm done. I'll find another rental company from now on!Troy D.

As soon as I arrived, I was warmly greeted. It was as if they rolled out the red carpet. I felt as if I was the only customer present in the store. We received a flagrantly overcharged invoice after we paid up front. We specifically took pictures before and after of the gas mileages, etc. we live close by and moved from our building to TWO buildings away. 8 TOTAL miles. We rented 3 dollies and did not use anything tied in the truck yet we we're charged for it saying we broke the seal! We also were charged for more time even though we brought the truck back EARLY. We were charged for TWO days of everything! We were charged $54 fuel charge for 10 gallons even though we PUT GAS IN. We were charged a $30 service fee ON TOP of that! So now we are owing over $200!!! OVER what we already paid. Jackie with customer service has been very respectful and professional and is helping us handle this situation but this move rental has been the worst experience we've ever had with Uhaul. We will allow them to contact us in regards to this situation and to the location experience that my boyfriend felt we received. However we will NEVER return to that location again. Improve your customer service. Your customer service is horrible. When turning in the truck, I said Thank you, the employee that checked me out said yeah! What does that mean, how rude. I wanted to turn around and say something but, it wasn't worth it. I paid $72 for using a vehicle maybe 2 hours to a place who doesn't appreciate my hard earned money. Even when I first came I was greeted with funky attitudes, I had to be super nice and apologetic at times which helped change the mood. Shouldn't it be the other way around smh. I was shocked, because I have been to this location before and never experienced this. I'm not sure if management changed or something, but the customer service has gotten poor. I wonder if I had different skin if the outcome would have been different. I'm not saying every person I encountered was bad, but there were about two people coming in and leaving out that I will not be back to see.smhKyla S.

I was charged $80 for fuel when the truck was received at 3/8 full. Uhaul agreed only 13 total miles were put on the truck however. How does 13 miles, probably 1 1/2 gallons of gas, equate to $80? It makes it hard for people to have faith in the SOPs this company sets forth. Be more thorough so customers don't have to call and have refunds processed. GraciasDerrick F.

While the facility didn't have trash or bugs that I could see...other than the front corner where people pile their discarded furniture and belongings...my only complaint is that the entire storage facility reeked of moth balls. Like REEKED! The odor hits you as soon as the sliding doors open and is so terribly strong that my belongings now reek.
